I honestly didn't know what to expect from Daiso. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of products that they have. Just about everything in the store is $1.50 some items that are larger ranges from $3-$5. In a way it reminds me of a dollar tree, however way cleaner and better organized. They have a lot of products that would be good for someone who just moved out. Basically, you could get all of your household needs from this store without breaking the bank. Kitchenware that would hold you over until you decide to upgrade to the fancier dinning set. I only came here to see what they had to offer and when I finally left the store I was $50 poorer. I got a lot of items that I probably didn't need, but for the price that I paid it was too good of a deal to pass up. read more

Interesting place for Asian supplies and toys. Everything from nick nacks, kitchen and house supplies to food like ramen noodles and snacks. Everything is generally all 1 dollar and 50 cents with a few exceptions. All the stuff is interesting and sometimes odd but that's what I like about this store. The store isn't super big but they do have quite a few things to look at. I usually end up with something I like. read more

I never walk out of this store empty handed. You can't beat the prices and the cool selection they have. I always find something useful or cute here. My daughter likes picking snacks and little toys here too. They have products there you never even knew you needed. The store is very well maintained and the staff is super friendly. I'm so excited Natomas got a Daiso! While it's still not super close to me, this is definitely a more convenient location for us Sactown people compared to the one at the Galleria, or even the one in Japantown, SF. The first thought I had when coming to this location for the first time was "wow it's clean and bright in here!" The white floors and fluorescent lighting really make the place look shiny and new. The aisles seem wider than the Roseville location, and it's certainly a bigger space, but it's still not as big as the SF one. I do prefer this one over Roseville though since I didn't feel cramped. The product selection seems about the same, but one noticeable difference is that many of the shelves here had not been stocked yet. I imagine that will improve with time since this is a fairly new store location. Overall, I don't have many complaints. I just want more products to be stocked here like the one in SF! I will be back for all the cute post-its, snack food and Japanese goodies my heart desires! And maybe a new cat toy for my cat. Daiso cat toys are her favorite. read more

Yay! A Daiso store in North Natomas! This store opened a few days ago, so it's very clean and organized. You can find everything here from kitchen supplies, stationary, to an assortment of Japanese snacks and drinks. They even had a row of July 4th supplies (I.e., plates, cups, straws). Staff were very friendly and my shopping experience here was great! This store is located in the Barnes and Nobles/target shopping area (close to BJ's Brewhouse). Definitely will be here often. Don't forget to bring your recycled bags for check out! read more

After visiting the Roseville Daiso and buying SO much stuff, I had high expectations for the Daiso Japan in Natomas. My boyfriend and I drove out of our way to visit the larger Daiso after being told it was packed full of even more wonderful affordable things. Unfortunately, it turned it to be almost a complete waste of time. I was bummed to see lackluster offerings, nothing really interesting. I mostly came to check out the snacks and maybe try a cool ramen flavor but their snack isle was bare! There was hardly anything in there, most of the items were things I could get at a regular store. The Roseville Daiso had SO much more to offer in their little store, and so many tasty candies, snacks, and curries. I would recommend skipping this location and visiting the one in Roseville. The service was nice here, but the Roseville location knocks it out of the park. Skip. read more

Excited that Daiso finally opened up a larger store in the Sacramento region. It's larger than the Roseville Galleria location. Many of the shelves were empty but I'm hoping it's because they're newly opened and still meeting the demand of their consumers. I've been to several Daiso locations, including Southern California and the Bay Area, and the employees at this particular location was hands down the friendliest! Whatever it is, keep it up! So glad there's one in natomas! I don't have to go to Otos or Roseville anymore. Daiso is a Japanese based inexpensive convenient store. This location is the same size as the one in Japan town in SF. I usually buy kitchen gadgets/ organizers and for the price of quality, it's not bad! FYI: Not everything is $1.50. This is my favorite "Dollar Store" Everything is $1.50 unless marked otherwise. The cutest dish's and mugs and they have great snacks.its well lit and wide isles and very neat and clean. My favorite is the Natomas Location but I've been to Elk Grove too. There are things here that you won't find Anywhere else. It's amazing! Pretty cool store. Most items are $1.50... has lots of things you never knew you wanted, don't really need but have to have for some unknown reason. Hence why I go when I'm just looking for something to pass the time. The store is pretty clean and the staff is friendly. They do have a no exchange or return policy (they always remind you at the register) so make sure you are really sure you wanna make the $1.50 investment. read more

I loved everything they had! We don't have a Daiso where I'm from... (from Iowa) and I've always wanted to come here! And I finally did! I wanted to buy everything there. But I got a couple of things. I had gotten their black kitty backpack! I had used that during my whole trip there. It can pack a lot of stuff in that small backpack. Also got their cosmetic scissor that's for the cuticles...? Well they were perfect to cut my lashes if their too long! Had to go back and get another pair! Their lashes... omg. I'm a lash hoarder and I loved them! They are so natural and easy to put on. Also got their drinks! I love their white peach drink! Had went and got some of their very fine pens! The ones where you can write very very small. I love those pens. I wish we had a Daiso here back at home! read more

This store is complete bullshit. I bought cotton swabs and before I left the store I realized that I accidentally bought ones with plastic sticks. Since I am getting them to clean hot items, they need to have paper sticks. I explained this to the cashier and asked to exchange them for the proper ones that were the same price. They declined. It may have not been a lot of money, but the inconvenience and awful customer service was unmatched. They did absolutely nothing to try to keep a customer happy. Daiso management, I hope you are reading this, and if you are a big FUCK YOU. And also a FUCK YOU to the cashiers who were acting weird and trying to rush me out of the store read more

The struggle of being in NorCal is there isn't enough Daisos like in SoCal! I had to drive almost an hour to get here, but it's worth it. I could spend hours here just checking out all the cool products haha. Perfect for college students because they offer good quality products at a decent price. It's sadly not as big as I thought it would be but they still have a broad selection of items ranging from toiletries to food to stuffed animals! Can't go wrong for $1.50! read more

I was over the moon excited when I heard a Daiso was coming to town. I waited till the crowds died down till I visited. I bought so many cute decorations for my home and office. It's a great place for small gifts too. The sweet buns are great with the iced coffee from the fridge. Or maybe it was tea. Either way. So much fun shopping here. Love the candy aisle. I love Daiso, and I am so glad a location opened up in Natomas! At first, I would only visit the locations in the Bay Area until the Roseville location opened up. But now, there's one in Sacramento! So excited for this store to stock up on more products because there is a lot of empty spaces. I have to give a 2 star tonight. My cashier was good. My total was $75. I hand her my hundred dollar bills. The cashier said she isn't allow to take any hundred bill without manager approval. The Manger wasn't around, so I had no luck, cause I have no smaller bills. They can lose serious business in the future if they r not allow to take in any hundred bills, if the manager is not around. Even if you spend over $100 worth of items. They will not take any high bills, but 20s, 10s, 5s, 1s etc.. waste of my time traveling an hour to just come & get rejected. It was 30min till closing time too. Smh The manager needs to stay behind till they closed, so they can have more $$$ coming into their store.. read more

I love Daiso so totally and completely. I'm a super thrifty person but Daiso makes it easy. I fell in love with their coffee filters, and a lot of their dishes and glasses are really good quality. TIP: using their dishes which are pretty small forces you to eat smaller portions and that's a good thing. Their makeup I'be not tried but the makeup brushes and other accessories are not bad at all. They have squares of fake grass that I bought to use as a mat in front of my cats litter box and it works way better than anything I've ever got a petsmart, not to mention way cheaper and it's kinda cute! They have individual packets of Matcha tea, love. And don't get me going on Pocky! AND they have a bag of MISO and there's actually like 4 servings in it and I thought it was only 1 and it was surprising good. The directions were in Japanese but it was pretty easily understood, intuition served me just fine. read more

Is not as big as the San Francisco or the San Jose store, But it's much bigger than the Roseville store, there are always interesting goodies and nice houseware for a reasonable price. This place was great in the beginning. Now they're getting super slow with stocking shelves. I love their makeup wipes, but they haven't stocked up for many weeks now. When they do, they only have a few on the shelf. Many other things have been barely stocked lately as well. Is their inventory low or are they just not managing shelves? They're quick with their holiday shelves, but the other shelves need some attention as well. Snacks are okay. Check the prices. I picked up something with no price sticker and it was $5 rather than their usual dollar price. read more

This Daiso is pretty big and wide but it's lacking in inventory I feel, I've been here on two occasions, didn't see what I truly needed or can use that will be useful that I can't buy at a Dollar Tree, or 99 cent store, so I end up just buying a few snacks, and some real Japanese soda. I have even been to a Daiso 2x smaller than this one in the East Bay, and I felt they had a lot of better items. I guess every Daiso is different in carrying different things, Out of all the Daisos I've been to, from the giant one in Daly City, tiny one in Alameda, about the same size Daiso in El cerrito, this location that I'm writing a review about, I like the Daiso in Daly City, Japan Town in San Francisco and Alameda so far. I know theres many more Daisos out there that I haven't came across yet. One thing to mention, not every item is made in Japan, you got to look closely if you're thinking this is a straight Japanese store only. Space is nice, but lacking in inventory. A lot of their shelves were empty. I'm from Washington and our daisos carry so much more stuff. Heck the tiny one in Roseville carries more inventory. Huge store with lots of unique items. Of course the quality might be questionable but for the pieces it's not bad.

Finally, a Daiso store that is way, way closer than the iconic Daiso store located in the Japantown of San Francisco, or the Daiso all the way over in Roseville. Daiso is known for boasting low cost knick-knacks, but unlike the 99 Cent Only Store and more familiar Dollar Tree, Daiso sells unusual little things you could not find easy at a low cost dollar store. For example, lots and lots of variety of gardening things, bento boxes, soup bowls, even bunny slippers!? I confess, Daiso is my favorite go-to for low cost art supplies. YES: Gel pens, chalkboard, COLOR chalk, LIQUID CHALK (yes), art paper, seriously an amazing low cost, art supplies section. My next favorite things to get here are food containers (glass containers with snap on plastic lids, great find!) and the asian candy (not all exclusively Japanese) selection. The lines are quick, the store is spacious (though not as much stuff as the iconic store in San Francisco), and I don't feel like the employees are giving me the stink eye like I'm about to shoplift one of their bargain finds. Always easy parking, too! At that end (where the store is located) there tends to be more empty parking spaces, than a few feet over where Target and Old Navy are. read more

Very nice store, very clean inside. We came late evening and it wasn't very stocked. It's like a dollar store, minus the dollar prices, but Japanese. I bought a really nice fountain pen though. The shirts are really cute and nice. I love their section of glassware and plates/bowls on the end wall. Very pretty. They also have a section of yummy Japanese snacks which I was pleased with. Actually this is a pretty nice Daiso. Clean, well lighted. The variety is actually pretty good compared to some of the other daiso I visited in the US. I think part of the reason the shelves look bare is because the store space is so big. Hey, I rather have that than everything cramped together like in a regular dollar store. The staff is helpful too. Many stuff are made in China but they are better made because of the Daiso quality control. Go visit. You won't be disappointed. Overall this place is big, clean, and friendly atmosphere but compared to the other Daiso stores located in the Bay Area this one doesn't have a huge selection of cosmetic essentials . I was a little disappointed over the half aisle for the makeup section . But overall will come back. read more

Clean, well-stocked items for $1.50. Some items are priced a bit higher, e.g., $3.00-4.00. Unlike most dollar stores, this is well lit, (did I mention clean?), not a jumbled mess with items scattered all over the place. Actually store personnel on the floor so you can ask questions if you need to find items. Been open a year+. On the same side as Target store, just at the end of the strip of stores.
