    A wide selection of items

Oh, this place is so much fun. We love to come here and browse all the different items. They have so many things available that you would never even consider; definitely lots on small items. Cool little ice cube trays, stationary , things for the garden, and, of course, lots of different snacks. If you need to get a gift that will be unique this would be a good place to come. Wish they would build one closer to us in Garland!

This has got to be the cutest most fun shop ever. Like probably ever. Cute cartoon kitties? They've got 'em. Animal laundry clips? Yes, those too. Pink, baby blue and yellow everything. Stop asking dumb questions - the answer is YES. This is a discount store, but it's also the cleanest, most precious and full of everything random, crazy and necessary stuff that you can imagine. So while I said no to the 10 different types of face masks and the assorted chair socks (check out the photo I uploaded), and I somehow resisted the selection of canvas bags for all the things and notebooks (oh gosh, the notebook selection!), I did come home with a good haul. How good? I picked up 2 medium sized travel compression bags (good for one sweatshirt or up to 6 tshirts), 2 large sized travel compression bags (good for two sweatshirts or up to 12 tshirts), 2 suit hanging storage bags, 2 dress hanging storage bags and 2 utility bags for carrying shoes (helpfully screen printed with "FOR SHOES"), plus a bottled green tea because I was thirsty after walking through the entire store looking at all the things. My bill? $16.56. BTW - receipts clearly state "no refunds, no exchanges" so shop accordingly. I'll be back. For sure.

    Asian version of Dollar tree.

It's a five for what it is. It's an Asian products dollar fifty store. It's one of those stores that you must come prepared with ideas of what you need, or you might not get anything. There is plenty of parking in front. The AC is cold in the store which is gladly welcomed during the summer. The lady running the checkout counter welcomes everyone as they enter and reminds them to close the door ;). It's cleaner than the dollar store, but somewhat disorganized. Or it may be that I just don't understand the layout. There must be at least a thousand little trinkets or as seen on TV type of gadgets in the store. I left the store spending $4.50 on three items. Most of the stuff is $1.50 unless marked with a higher price. Overall a great little store to get small cheap items that might be decent quality.

I have driven past Daiso quite a bit plus I normally grocery shop across the street. Today, I finally decided to stop by to see what type of "discount" store Daiso really was. I expected a bit more from Daiso or at least expected to walk out with something. Most items were $1.50 unless marked otherwise but were also items I could get at Dollar Tree for exactly a dollar. The only items that caught my attention were silicone baking pans, decorative tile stickers (I want backsplash so bad lol) & the various snack items (my tastebuds weren't ready just yet). Overall, I understand the concept but I'll stick to Dollar Tree !

I FINALLY MADE IT HERE. YASSS. After the false alarm grand opening and regularly driving by to check on progress hoping to see signs of when it'll open - my baby finally opened. This location isn't really different, in terms of inventory from the Carrollton location, but it seems to have a better layout and fengshui; it also seems larger. As with the other locations, electronics, hardware, gardening, auto, home organization, beauty products, gifts - you name it, they probably have it. $1.50. If the product is a bit more complex, say a nonstick frying pan, you might see a tag or two for $3 or $5 (max that I saw). Also ALL kinds of things you never thought you would need, but find out you do after going. Socks for chairs, anyone? My only gripes about Daiso in general is that sometimes you get what you pay for. The stuff is IRRESTIBLY cute, but things can be fragile, kitchenware not always microwaveable (big one for me), and lots of goods made in China, not Japan like the name would imply (not an issue just confusing). I absolutely love Daiso. They should put a bed inside so I could live there. Like seriously.

The store was small and extremely bright, loud, aisles narrow and kind of a mess. That having been said, it is fun to go to Daiso. We got a little laquer-looking tea tray, a mug, some sticky notes, binder clips, chopsticks, toilet seat covers, a noren... Fun stuff.

Such a cute store! I am officially in love! As soon as I walked in and saw all these cute little things, I knew I will be a fan of this Japanese dollar store. They have so many interesting things you never knew you needed! Clean, shiny, welcoming and bright set-up. I bought 2 stylish bowls, very handy tweezers, beauty blender sponges, shower mat, some snacks and ended up paying only 16 dollars. Beware - no returns and they don't accept 100$ bills. i will definitely become frequent customer...

Love this place! Its like a high end dollar store! lol Great location with many parking spaces. Always something interesting to look at. Most items are from Asia and this is why its so interesting to shop here. They have decorations, food, drinks, things for the house, basically everything you need will be here at a reasonable price. The prices range from $1 to $25. Will always come back to see what they have if I am close by. Staffed well and always available for any questions. Great customer service!

Love attending these kids resale events! Easily the best…read morechildren's resale in Dallas! There is a spring and a fall sale every year! Easily the cleanest, stain free, trendiest kids resale in Dallas. I'm not sure why they don't extend to Austin and Dallas. No cover charge but there are some rules to attending. Other sales permit obviously stained items, it is Rare to find a stained item at this sale. If you do, hand it to an employee or drop it in the basket and they remove it. Checkout is easy, you do get a bit of a discount if you pay cash. Check the website for the size of wagon you can bring, they sell IKEA style bags, and to see which days kids are permitted, which days are 50% and 75%!

Something great: sorting tables with go back racks and bins. I love this idea and makes it so…read morepeople aren't putting things on the floor and then leaving them in the incorrect location when they decide to not keep it. Now for the negative as a shopper: no shopping bags unless you purchase them. I was shocked by this. You'd think they want people to gather as much as they can fit! The large ikea bags aren't that expensive ($1 each), and considering how much money they are making this could make them a lot more! Also, no bag to have your purchased items in. This makes it easy to leave when you may not have paid for something that you put in your stroller. Theft is easy here. Now for the negative as a consigner: There is no inspection of your items when you arrive. You walk in and place your items. Then they inspect and pull your items from the floor if they don't meet quality standards AFTER you've left the building. This leads to a lot of people selling dirty items because they know the inspection process is lax. This also lead to me placing sandals on the tables and just before being done, someone happened to see what I was placing and let me know sandals are seasonal and they would be pulled off the floor. So I went back to collect the other sandals and ended up not remembering one. So now I walk out with my items and they have no idea if I picked up my own items to leave or someone elses. Again, theft option. Also, I had shoes in boxes. There is nothing on the consignor detail pages that say no shoe boxes under the shoe section. Since that was all I was consigning, that is where I looked prior to bringing my items and placing them on the floor. Again, no inspection at drop off, so had no other way of knowing a detail that is NOT on their website. I went to pick up my unsold items and they threw away my boxes! I understand keeping them behind a desk, or calling the seller, but then the owners daughter (who will be taking over the business) said it was on the website. I didn't have it pulled up at that time to say, "No, it's not!" And there was nothing I could do about it since they are long gone in the garbage. There should be an option for sellers to sell at the 50% off, but not the 75% off. I didn't mark anything discount because of this. I spent my shift sorting and organizing girl shoes the entire night and one of my pairs of shoes was not sold and not on the floor. They were in my pile when I went to pick up and they would have sold if they were on the floor. I have no idea where they were the night before. They were priced cheap and almost new. Last, and every consignor should be upset about this... I worked a shift and got to shop beforehand for an hour. I found great items (although a lot stained/faded/etc that I didn't purchase.) During the sale time I handled go-backs for clothing and saw some other things that I wished I had picked up. In the last hour when there were only about 8 shoppers left, I asked the owners son-in-law (who will be taking over this business with his wife at some point) if I could get more items and check out. He said no and that I could come back the next morning (a Tuesday - work day) if I wanted to buy more because I'm on shift until closing. We literally stood around waiting for the last shopper to check out before they would let 20 volunteers leave. I could have purchased 10-20 more items which is money for the consignors at 50% off, but was told to come back on 75% off day (which I couldn't) and then most items I wanted were going to donation, so no sale for consignor or company owner!!!! What's the point of that? Did they think I was stashing items? Y'all should have seen the thousands of items going to donation the following day! :( That is not a business owner mentality, it's a worker mentality and they should not be running a business. I was shocked to see the Consignment Mommies award this consignment shop won last year! Just shocked!
