I went in to purchase gift cards, and asked if I could please get a gift receipt for each card. I asked the cashier if it would be easier to buy them separately since I was getting 5! She said "no that won't be necessary" so she rang up all 5 and I paid and she handed me the receipt Not even a gift receipt, so I asked for the gift receipts, she said "no I can't do that". I asked for a manager, and of course the attitude started, manager shows up "no we can't do that". Asked for a refund, "no we can't do that" Then why did she tell me I could get a gift receipt for each gift card purchased? "No she didn't say that!" I was just blown away by the incompetence of the manager & cashier. Customer service is not something this store values. I have been to many dollar trees, unfortunately this is the worst! Five Below reminds me of an upscale dollar store on crack. Nothing over $5. They have a huge variety of things from video games, dvds, pajames, t-shirt, prank items, flip flops, electronics, nice watches, headphones & exercise items. There's a ton of things I missed so one must visit to get an idea. I was impressed with their huge selection of headphones. My son goes through headphones weekly. I brought him by Five Below and he was impressed saying he must return when he has more money to spend.

I would estimate the girls brand makeup as: 40% Cat & Jack & Wonder Nation, 15% Old Navy & GAP and 10% Adidas, Under Armour, Nike. It's rare to see Tucker + Tate, Crewcuts, Vineyard Vines or Athleta girl here. The other 35% are unrecognizable brands. Self-checkout would really be an upgrade and speed up the check-out process. Interacting with the staff is always an exercise in patience. While they seem experienced interacting with one another, most customer transactions are awkward and cumbersome.

I've never really felt so welcomed and so taken care of in any store quite like this one. I'm a pretty frequent shopper because I have a huge problem with decor and it's almost dangerous. However nonetheless the curiousness of the staff means so much. It's not many stores you can go into anymore that the employees genuinely care about your needs and great you at the door. They also help you with your items while your shopping and offer to hold them at the front for you which helps out a lot when you're like me and tend to buy large and awkward items. I even once brought my dog in her little stroller which I wasn't 100% sure was allowed but the employee that greeted me was just as happy to see my fur baby as she was to see her. They had a great time and I respected the welcomeness yet again I received from the staff. Definitely a must go location! Tell em that I sent ya! Lol.

We were a bit pressed for time, so we didn't get to really look at everything, other than to take a quick look through the warehouse. The warehouse is a real sensory overload. They also have yard sculpture pieces outside that I did not look at. They have good prices on some really good looking cabinets, as well as doors of all kinds. We have a older house, and so will be slowly renovating. DHW will be our first priority of places to come to for that vintage look, as well as the current stuff. Maria was very nice to show me around, and we were stunned at how much stuff they have.
