I love the deals I can get at resale shops. Unfortunately, so does everyone else. This means that no matter when you go, it's usually busy. Every time I go, there is at least one customer and their kid sitting in an aisle just blocking that sucker up. It would be great if OUC put a dressing room or at least a sitting area where the floor-sitters could hold shoes and armfuls of outfits up next to their little angel without clogging up traffic for the rest of us. If you're looking to sell back your average clothing, you're not going to pull much cash. Purchasing though, there are some real deals to be had. read more

This place is utterly disgusting. While looking for clothes on the bottom racks, I noticed many clothes that had just been shoved underneath all the other clothes that were hanging up on the bottom racks. I pulled them out to look at them and left them in a pile on the floor and told one of the associates that worked there about it, and she looked at me with a major attitude like I just caused her more work. Who the hell is hiring these young women with attitudes who have no business in anything that involves "Customer Service"?! read more

The store is higher priced and offers less quality items than other locations. A day prior to my visit, I visited the Plano location, Plano has better brands, quality and pricing. The same joggers were $2.50 more in at this location!! The clothing condition must have a lower standard at this location. Today, I saw tons of Free Giveaway t-shirts (elementary, dentist, orthodontist, daycares, Urban Air) for sale at $4.50. There were several items that were out of style and dated. I would estimate the girls brand makeup as: 40% Cat & Jack & Wonder Nation, 15% Old Navy & GAP and 10% Adidas, Under Armour, Nike. It's rare to see Tucker + Tate, Crewcuts, Vineyard Vines or Athleta girl here. The other 35% are unrecognizable brands. Self-checkout would really be an upgrade and speed up the check-out process. Interacting with the staff is always an exercise in patience. While they seem experienced interacting with one another, most customer transactions are awkward and cumbersome. read more

Utterly disgusted with the new owner's of this establishment. They threw out people's item's without their consent, then lied about it. Fired the mentally disabled youth who had been employed by this store for years as a process to integrate the community. Also had the audacity to speak about customer's instead of taking feedback as a growing opportunity. They attempted to sale us a used item and didn't honor a coupon that this franchise as a whole has used for almost a decade, which the wrapping was torn on. I declined and went to buy the item new and full priced at Target for 3$ more than their offer. Go to the McKinney location as I'm now doing again, they honor customer's and will work with you for deals! read more

I've been here for the past two years and let me tell you...the customer service gets worse every single time I step foot inside. I asked for assistance and one employee was on her phone, looked up and just smirked at me as if I shouldn't be asking for help. I'm not sure why there are so many customer service related reviews on here but nothing is being done about it. This resale store is nicely organized and inventory is rotated to meet the needs of the current season. They have toys and books as well as clothing and baby equipment. My only beef with them is trying to sell can take a couple of days... they get swamped with drop offs (one bin policy), and it can take several hours for them to get to your box or bin... so the "wait for bid" is not practical. Most people drop off their bin and wait for their text that their bid is ready. I did not want to leave my stuff, so I signed in and it said a wait time of 55 min- 1hr 05 min. But when I had waited an hour and twenty minutes, I checked with the clerk... and she said it would be another 2 hours before she got to my bin. I was upset that the checkin time estimator could be so off. I waited in the store (bc I don't like leaving my stuff unattended- most of what i was selling was brand new with tags) AND had my 4yo and 9mo in tow, so needless to say I was very frustrated that we waited in the store an hour and a half for NOTHING. I read books to my 4 yo and got a good understanding of how the store works. But I will be trying another location to see if I can wait and monitor my stuff for a bid. read more

Went to look at the coats for my twin granddaughters- One was $50 and one was $30. For being a resale shop- they sure are proud of themselves. I could pay a little more for brand new coats. Plus, if you bring them clothes, they only give you 30% in store credit. So, they are making a killing. This store used to be better. read more

Horrible customer service. The people who work here just glare at you, and seem mad that your buying stuff. I nearly was over charged $20.00 (I was ready for that because it has happened before). So be sure to add up everything before going to the checkout. Also when they give you your change back, (they tried to short change me one time too.) I was never given an apology today, when they saw it was there mistake, even before basically calling me a liar. I had said you rang these 2 up already and she said no she didn't and the other lady looked at the computer and said yes here it is and here. When I got home I saw the still over charged me a dollar, and after 20 minutes messing with the register, AND after counting out loud how much the subtotal should be. So I decided to go sell some uniforms and the process seemed easy enough but there was only 1 person assigned to sort through all the items. I went back around the same the following day but unfortunately 1 item was stolen, so everything didn't get returned. My returned were under piles and piles of stuff; so I think they were hoping I would just leave it there. I called to ask about what was missing and they were very dismissive. I have utilized this store many times for both reselling and purchasing, and the customer service, time to process potential inventory, and pricing of items has continued to worsen. It takes several hours to process even a small bag of clothing, even when you're one of the first drop offs of the day. Nobody in customer service speaks to you. And several of them look uncomfortable to be at work at all. As far as deals go, inventory has begun to resemble target resell -- for literally a dollar less than you can buy it newat target. It used to be that only higher end brands were above $7 and now Cat and Jack is routinely priced that high. read more

My mother went to the one off president george bush in garland tx. It was the worst experience of her life. She took my daughter to find some clothes. They were not busy. My mom walked to the front to get help. No one acknowledged her. She looked right at someone and they still didn't help her. She walked out with my daughter. Upon getting to the store I realized there were no available carts. I counted four in the store which means they aren't catering to their customer base which is 95% women with kids. Another mom and I exchanged pitied glances as we both shuffled through hanging clothes one-handed with a heavy infant/toddler on the opposite hip because the floor is too visibly dirty to sit your child down. I brought clothes to consign and checked them in first thing when I got there and they said it would be 30 minutes. In said time I had finished browsing and waited in line and when I reach the cash register and checked out they still weren't done consigning what I brought so I said "no problem" and stepped to the back of the line. Four people later I am at the cash register, again they said they weren't done. I went to the back of the line again and after that waited in the car a while too. They kept checking out new customers and ignoring the consignments. I only had five items of clothing to consign! By now I have waited long enough to snag a cart and am milling about when an ear piercing alarm goes off. Every mother with a young child like myself is covering the little ones ears or leaving immediately without purchasing anything and the employees don't seem all that phased. I really just had to chuckle at this point because I didn't know what else could go wrong. I used to love going to this store and was the best one out there at least I thought. I went yesterday to sell some stuff and they only selected some stuff which I understand and was not much of the pay. I would save time and just sale online it is quicker and more pay. The customer service is not great, people hardly talk to you and seemed annoyed by you being there. Also while they looked through the stuff I went to see what they had and not much was found. I've sold clothes here before and the experience has never been awesome but today was definitely the worst. I came to sell one bag of clothes. I was the first person to arrive. There's zero customer service from the moment you arrive. They have a tablet set up where you check yourself in and it tells you the wait could be 50-60 minutes. That's fine, I planned to look around. I only had one small bag so I assumed it wouldn't take an hour but I was prepared to wait that long if needed. An hour later, I hadn't been notified that my buy was done so I checked with an employee and they hadn't even started looking at my items yet. The girl was looking at other customer's items. I told her I was the first person who had checked in an hour ago and she looked like she literally didn't care if I lived or died. She said she'd get to it next. Meanwhile, 3 other employees were doing nothing at all. One asked me if I needed help with anything and I said yes, I'd love for someone to look at the items I brought to sell since I came in over an hour ago. Again, I was looked at like I was inconveniencing them even though this is a resale clothing store where it's their job to buy clothes. No apology, no thank you for your patience...I would have been totally understanding if they'd said they were really backed up and apologized for the wait. I worked retail (and mostly resale!) for so many years, I get it. I also understand how hard it is to hire for retail right now but this was inexcusable. Definitely a top 5 worst customer experience ever sort of visit. I know it's easy to disregard bad yelp reviews but I hope whoever is in charge of this store reads this and at least considers making a change based on the feedback. read more

I've been here twice. The first time was for their 20 bodysuits for $10 sale. Can't beat that price. The second time I found the cutest Easter outfit for my 10 month old without having to pay a fortune. It looked brand new. They have a ton of cute outfits and shoes for great prices. The only downfall is that after the 2nd purchase I made with them, I learned not to only check their tag for the size but to confirm it by checking the tag on the clothing piece itself too. I bought what I thought was a 9 month outfit because that is what their tag said, but it was actually 6 months which I realized when I got home and turned it inside out to wash it. That was a little disappointing because I paid for it, but my daughter can't wear it because it's too small. read more

This location has served me well over the past years however lately the customer service (or lack thereof) is ridiculous. I sell and buy quite a bit here and for the past months some of the staff have ruined it for me. Today I came in about 2pm to collect my items that I dropped off first thing at 10 to sell. Six people behind the counter and I stood (only person in line) for about a good 5 minutes before someone acknowledged me. I know I'm not invisible so wth? The two teenagers that were I'm guessing the in charge folks could give two flips about what was going on. Plus it was like I was putting them out when they had to give me the two baskets to take back home. Good lord what's wrong with y'all? You have a job, do it. Stop hiring lazy teenagers and invest in at least a 20 something year old. I think we will give this location a rest for a bit. read more

With six grand kids, three grand daughters, two with birthdays in September I need to cut corners as much as possible, but still like to buy them nice things. I decided to check out a consignment store for this year's birthday presents and was delighted to find not just a little store with a few select things but rows, and rows packed with little girls clothing from everyday to fancy shmancy party dresses all at amazingly low prices. I was able to get three gorgeous items each for the 6 year old and the 2 year old and a blue onesy for the new grandson all for $45. One of the items still has the store tags with the original price of $36.00 which I paid $6.50, yeah that's right Six dollars and fifty cents. This store is a little gem. Tons of stuff in all sizes from infant to little girls sizes, I think I saw 7's and 8's, but since my girls are smaller I didn't look too much into the bigger girls things. They also had rows and rows of boys things, which except for the baby onsey I didn't look at either. This grandma wishes there was more money to spoil her grandbabies more. Of course the oldest, who has now gone off to college (age18) thinks she's too good for consignment store goods and this store wouldn't have anything her size anyway. Definitely will be shopping here more often. The service was great. I was a bit disappointed at first a young girl standing near the register didn't look like she was open and the other girl was helping someone else so I just waited in line behind the woman being helped. The girl sorting clothing, although standing next to a register looked my way and said nothing, but another woman ready to check out step up to her and she stopped her sorting to help her, but I was a little miffed since she knew I was waiting and should have at least said well this woman is waiting I'll take her first. I mentioned this to the girl who checked me out and she was very apologetic, very cheerful and nice so all was forgiven situation redeemed. read more

IMPORTANT NOTE: This store used to be located on Lavon Drive in Garland. It has improved quite a bit since moving to it's new location off George Bush Hwy. They offer a wide selection of gently used children's clothing at fantastic discounted prices. They also sell gently used baby furniture (cribs, strollers, etc.) and gently used toys. This store is great for shoppers with young children. Most of the toys are perfect for babies and toddlers. A small handful is good for preschool age -- but you really have to do some digging through the bags and piles of toys. The store also sells a small selection of new items such as hair bows, bibs, and Melissa & Doug brand items. And don't forget you can bring your own gently used items (clothes, toys, baby equipment) and sell them. The process is very easy! read more

I'm frugal especially because kids grow out of clothes in a matter of months! But don't come here to sell anything and expect to make a few bucks-they don't pay much for stuff. I love coming here and I'm the ultimate cheapskate who thinks paying $6-10 is way too much on a shirt, so this is really the place for me. For my nieces birthdayi wanted to get her some new clothes but wanted to get more bang for my buck, and I certainly did here. For $26 I got two pairs of shorts, two beautiful dresses, one was a gap dress that looked like it's never been worn, and to rompers(I think that's what they are, looks like a dress but it's connected and has shorts). I think I got a pretty good deal considering they are all beautiful and I got so much. The place has a great selection, and is organized nicely. The staff was friendly, and I am so glad I decided to go there. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars is because some stuff is way over priced and is likely priced as if it is new, but I'm not hating and can't wait to go find more awesome steals. read more

DO NOT GOT HERE!! Out of all the locations in the DFW this is the only one I wouldn't reccomend . I came to this location in early October to possibly sell items my kids have outgrown. When I went to pick up my items they had donated (WITHOUT MY CONSENT) the things they didn't choose to make an offer on EVEN THOUGH I had spoke to 2 different people names Brianna and Crystal assuring me my items would still be there for me to pick up that Friday. When i came for my items i was told they were mistakenly donated and there was nothing they could do about it. A tote full of polo, northface, Tommy Hilfiger and old navy clothes they claim was donated. I will be taking this to the police treating this as a theft of my personal belongings. If i stole from them, they'd call the police. So why wouldn't I do the same. To make up for their screw up I was offered $20 lol I also told the owner Samia i could send pics of all the missing clothes as i also had the clothes uploaded onto fb market place since she insisted what was donated was stained or worn out even though she claims she wasn't the one to sort through the clothes. We brought two bins of mostly new clothes in on a weekday before noon. There were 6 employees, but fairly busy. We were told an hour to an hour 1/2 to get the call back. 3 hours later, got the text, and we go back and find our bins had gotten separated. Out of the one they processed, they offered $.65 for one shirt. When we asked about the 2nd bin (clearly marked on their paperwork), no apologies, said they'd process and text us in a few hours. It's 3:30 already. Of course i read their fine print...any items not returned for day of are kept with store credit given! Worst customer service I've seen in awhile. read more

The place can be a wreck sometimes but with all the adults and kids spelunking the clothes and toys it's to be expected. I dropped off three laundry baskets full of girls clothes today, and I came home with three full baskets of clothes. Mind you, I had already sorted out the things that were worn, had stains, or didn't have the tags on them. Some items were brand knew and never been worn. I was shocked that I was walking out with nearly everything that I had brought in. I asked the "buyer" what was their criteria since, as I said I had already sorted out anything that was not worthy. I showed her a skirt that I had bought there that my child had barely worn. It looked bran spanking new. She said "they have to be careful of that style in that particular size". WTH, I bought it there! I showed her a new dress that had never been worn and she couldn't explain to me why they wouldn't buy it. I didn't want to walk out of there with so much stuff for my trouble. My granddaughter picked out a few outfits to purchase and they were not in as good as shape as the stuff I had just dropped off. Last time I went the staff was rude and gave off a nasty vibe. I called today to ask what time they closed and the girl that answered told me what time they closed with an attitude and then hung up on me, without saying anything before I could even say thank you. I think the owners should pick who they hire a little more carefully. Also, I went in with three bags full of clothes to sell, in really good condition, and they only took two things out of everything. I still decided to look around and the clothes/shoes they have look very old and some aren't even in good condition..they should reconsider what they choose to buy a little more carefully. read more
