I asked for help by an employee and she redirected me to someone who could help me better. The second person asked to see the listing, looked for a number at the bottom of the description, and went searching for it in the back. I was asked to follow and wait. The item was found and with excitement I asked to look and observe it. With the man that searched for it as my spectator, I was able to open the box and look at it. Both associates were very nice and helped me with any questions I had. I'm happy to have discovered this place with AMAZING DEALS. Although it's almost an hour away it's definitely worth the drive for those prices!

The having to look at a price sheet to convert the currency is new, but not a big deal. The store is always "hit or miss", meaning one time I come home with huge bags of stuff and another visit I find nothing. The categories they tend to do well IMO are household goods (think kitchen/bathroom/storage/hardware related), the Japanese snacks and holiday merchandise. It was delicious! I also bought a bag of pork rinds. I had them in my carry-on bag on my flight back to Toronto. They make the perfect snack on a plane if you love them. If you're on a low-carb diet, they are a decent alternative to potato chips. I just like anything crunchy and pork-related. This store has a ton good good snacks, housewares, chocolate, nail accessories, and more. There was plenty of parking when I was there, as it's a huge plaza full of box stores. She said "no that won't be necessary" so she rang up all 5 and I paid and she handed me the receipt Not even a gift receipt, so I asked for the gift receipts, she said "no I can't do that". I asked for a manager, and of course the attitude started, manager shows up "no we can't do that". Asked for a refund, "no we can't do that" Then why did she tell me I could get a gift receipt for each gift card purchased? "No she didn't say that!" I was just blown away by the incompetence of the manager & cashier. Customer service is not something this store values. I have been to many dollar trees, unfortunately this is the worst! I'd rather drive a little further and not have to deal with them anymore.
