This spot is located at the center of sawtelle. They have limited parking but also have underground parking per fee, meter, and lots near by. This Daiso looks small but it's a pretty decent size! They organized it well and have arts and crafts, kitchen supplies, home decor, plush, makeup, snacks, and more. I didn't encounter any workers as they have self check out. The base price for items is $2.25 and other items not that price are marked up.

So Daiso is the perfect definition of a convenience store. They have a tremendous selection. Anything you could think of under the sun, things you didn't know you need they have it. Every time I go I make sure to walk down every aisle just to see what they have and there's always something I spot where I was like. Wait I need that or I could use that. It's always perfect. The best part about Daiso is everything is affordable. I don't think I've ever spent more than $20 and I always get a shit ton of things. All the people who work there are really nice highly recommend checking out Daiso one of my favorite places.

This store is like a Japanese dollar tree. So many good finds for a good price! I came in looking for the oil blotting strips but this is the second location I've been to recently that doesn't have them. I wonder if they discontinued them? Parking in Sawtelle can be difficult but I was able to find metered street parking right out front.

I have a serious problem with Daiso. They seem to have implanted a force field in all their locations that you can't escape unless you go inside and buy some kawaii goods. Then, next thing you know you have a full blown addiction to this $1.50+ Japanese paradise. Take my moneyyyyy! This trip I got more of my Daiso holy grails- LA Colors nail polish and sheer socks... I can't stop buying them! The socks can be worn with heels or tennis shoes and add such a cute little touch to any outfit. Don't dry them tho as they are very delicate and will shrink or rip. The LA Colors polish comes in so many gorgeous colors (I have like 10 right now lol) but especially love the ones with a bit of sparkle/glitter. Goes on smooth and I use an Essie gel top coat to seal it. This location is on the smaller size but still has a great selection. There is a parking lot on site and no apple pay so remember your card ;)

i don't know what this is but i want it

Impossible! Inconceivable! That one tiny-ish little store can be jam-packed with so many cool, useful and interesting things, is pretty mind-blowing. And the fact that it's all there, so amazingly well-organized, neat, clean and accessible, makes shopping here pure magic. Wifey & I were just killing time. We happened upon this place and easily killed an hour. It's like a Consumer Museum of Useful Stuff. All for sale, lol. From dishware to cosmetics; school student needs to snacks; household items to workout gear...it's really somethin' else. Stop in. Get lost. Be AMAZED. Daiso Japan.

Cute cards! Knick knacks! Household goods! Seasonal decor! We just went in for a friend to get a toothbrush (not in stock) and got kicked out for bringing our empty boba drinks in. A very fun and useful store to peruse!

Obsessed. A store full of cute and useful items for mostly just $1.50?! Amazing! This particular location is in an outdoor shopping center with slightly hectic shopping. There's a fairly large underground parking lot which is the way I always go unless I see a spot just open up upstairs. But parking is quite limited on the main level. During the pandemic, there is often a line for Daiso, but it's open until 10pm. I've found if you go after 830pm, you won't have a line. My favorite thing I've ever bought are adorable Mickey Mouse sponges. They are so cute and I can only imagine they'd cost at least 5x at much through Disney directly. I love all the Disney and Sanrio items! It's a great spot for stationary that's adorable, kitchen items, snacks and just random cool & cute stuff. Everything is clean and organized, staff is great - I love Daiso~!!!!

The FILTHINESS of this SM location was disgusting, seeing dust and filth everywhere on the floors below the racks mixed with clothing on the floor people kick aside to make their way through the FILTHY MESS, painful to see. Who wants to buy these filthy merchandises ? Last three times ( April/May ) , there was an unprofessional angry, and arrogant female manager ( wearing usually a strict pulled back dark hair ) with ZERO customer service skills and lacking knowledge of the company's basic policies!!!! How that could be called a " manager ", is concerning. Long lines extremely long wait ( over 10-15 minutes ), 2-3 totally untrained and loud new female cashiers with zero customer service skills and unfortunately impossible to communicate with because of language barriere. Ours avoided eye contact after she couldn't explain her mistake turned and started talking to her friend at next cashier instead!!dismissing our question , rolling eyes and pointing to an unknown spot mumbling wait! She cominng! ( which didn't happen for the longest time) There's FILTH and clothing on the floor everywhere, broken elevator for over a month, upstairs is half taped around... It's a lack of respect to customers. Who is responsible for this mess?

The herbs are fresh, the ingredients feel alive, and everything supports cooking in a way that's actually nourishing, not overly processed. What I appreciate is that it stays true to Persian food without watering it down. You can come in for something simple or build out a full meal, and either way it aligns with eating clean while still having depth and flavor. The bread, the produce, even the prepared foods -- it all feels like it's made to be eaten, not just displayed. There's a real sense of care behind it. I have never left a Marshall's crying, especially not on my literal 30th birthday…read more I took the day off of work today for my birthday, and decided to spend the day at Marshall's. I spent three hours meticulously looking for all of the 50% off holiday items. At one point a staff brought a huge cart of holiday candles to restock the Christmas section so I directly took from her cart. At checkout I was told 2/3 of my items were NOT part of the holiday section. I pleaded that there are snowflakes on the lip balm, the palmers lotion said HOLIDAY GIFT SET, and the names of the scents of the candles to which I was told no. A manager and another staff came over to say ok to the lip balm once she saw the snowflake. Then validated her and said she's right these are just red candles it's a no. I one by one picked them up and pleaded "mistletoe noir isn't holiday?" She said ok fine you can have that one. I literally said wow I didn't realize I needed to negotiate and try to convince you for each of these?! As I went and read the names of these candles. She said you don't need to convince me I just didn't read the bottom were really busy. I said then why are saying no before looking?! (Mind you I come here often, there was no one in line, normally line is around the isle and I wait 20min) she stormed away. The way she talked to me was so beyond unacceptable and mean. NO apology for telling me no when not checking. I told the cashier I'm so beyond upset right now this is not how I wanted to feel on my birthday. Moral of the story Barbara didn't let me take many of the candles I am certain were holiday, ultimately I literally got on my car and started sobbing. What a crazy way to spend my day off, and my birthday. Ultimately while Barbara was extremely rude, the ultimate problem is that the items should be in the system as holiday or not instead of letting staff debate with customers. Please change the holiday system for the future, thank you.
