Daiso is a fun Japanese store that I knew everyone would enjoy, especially my niece! The store is so bright and cheerful! Inside | Pure cuteness! Home goods, stationery, including the cutest stickers & notebooks, cute face masks in colorful packaging, pretty hair clips/accessories, makeup, Japanese snacks & drinks... and so much more! They even had cute little plushies for animals! Fun! Fun Note | I first discovered Daiso shops during my travels throughout Japan, in particular, while shopping on Takeshita Street in Harajuku! I was visiting a friend and she & I would always stop in a number of Daiso shops whenever we spotted them, because they're simply fun! Overall | It's a fun and colorful store with a variety of goods from almost every category! We enjoyed looking around & I might even return to get some snacks and cute stickers for my planner when I have more time! While exploring the store, I received a notification that our table was ready at a restaurant across the street! I'll be back!

I've been shopping at Star Market for a while and it's consistently great. The selection of nuts,…read morefruit, breads, and specialty foods is impressive, and everything is always fresh. The Saffron Pistachios and Lemon roasted Almonds are particularly my favorite lol. Ben is incredibly friendly and helpful, which makes the experience even better. It's hard to find local markets that still feel this welcoming and take pride in what they offer. You can tell there's real attention paid to the quality of the products, and it never feels like you're just another customer walking through the door. Whether you're stopping in for one item or doing a larger shop, there's a genuine neighborhood feel that makes people want to come back. Places like this are becoming harder to find, especially when so many stores feel impersonal these days. Star Market has managed to keep that balance of great selection, quality products, and customer service that feels authentic rather than forced. It's clear that Ben cares about the store, what he stocks, and the experience customers have when they walk in. It's the kind of neighborhood market that earns repeat customers because of both the quality and the people behind it. Definitely worth checking out if you're in the area.

Star Market is one of those places that hits both sides for me -- culture and quality…read more I'm really intentional with how I eat, and this is one of the few spots where you don't feel like you're compromising that just to enjoy something rooted in tradition. The herbs are fresh, the ingredients feel alive, and everything supports cooking in a way that's actually nourishing, not overly processed. What I appreciate is that it stays true to Persian food without watering it down. You can come in for something simple or build out a full meal, and either way it aligns with eating clean while still having depth and flavor. The bread, the produce, even the prepared foods -- it all feels like it's made to be eaten, not just displayed. There's a real sense of care behind it. For me, it's a staple because it fits into how I live -- whole foods, high quality, and still connected to culture. Not many places balance that well. If you care about what you're putting into your body but still want food that actually has identity, this is it.

The Baseline: For a department store the selection of goods must be good, have quality on the level…read moreequal to the type of establishment, good internal circulation, and a good check out payment procedure. Service: All of the Marshal's staff I have ever interacted with in my 8 years of frequenting this Marshals location have been polite and helpful with all reasonable requests for assistance. I never have made an unreasonable request so I really can't compare against that. Selection: Marshals has a great number of standard types of items readily available but it is not a consistent in specific products. AKA if you don't get it now it probably won't be there next time you come. That does make for a fun shopping experience to find new things. Value: Some things have great reduced price value. Example: I bought Bones Coffee that retails at $19.99 at World Market that I bought for $8.99 at Marshals. You have to always look for the deals.

I have never left a Marshall's crying, especially not on my literal 30th birthday…read more I took the day off of work today for my birthday, and decided to spend the day at Marshall's. I spent three hours meticulously looking for all of the 50% off holiday items. At one point a staff brought a huge cart of holiday candles to restock the Christmas section so I directly took from her cart. At checkout I was told 2/3 of my items were NOT part of the holiday section. I pleaded that there are snowflakes on the lip balm, the palmers lotion said HOLIDAY GIFT SET, and the names of the scents of the candles to which I was told no. A manager and another staff came over to say ok to the lip balm once she saw the snowflake. Then validated her and said she's right these are just red candles it's a no. I one by one picked them up and pleaded "mistletoe noir isn't holiday?" She said ok fine you can have that one. I literally said wow I didn't realize I needed to negotiate and try to convince you for each of these?! As I went and read the names of these candles. She said you don't need to convince me I just didn't read the bottom were really busy. I said then why are saying no before looking?! (Mind you I come here often, there was no one in line, normally line is around the isle and I wait 20min) she stormed away. The way she talked to me was so beyond unacceptable and mean. NO apology for telling me no when not checking. I told the cashier I'm so beyond upset right now this is not how I wanted to feel on my birthday. Moral of the story Barbara didn't let me take many of the candles I am certain were holiday, ultimately I literally got on my car and started sobbing. What a crazy way to spend my day off, and my birthday. Ultimately while Barbara was extremely rude, the ultimate problem is that the items should be in the system as holiday or not instead of letting staff debate with customers. Please change the holiday system for the future, thank you.

Hey, there's a reason so many folks are congesting that lot, shopping here. Like on my recent trip, I saved $12.80 on canned/bottled food provisions. And on non-food items make that $20.10 for a total savings of $32.90! Actual total on 14 items spent was only $45.67. WOW! Store opens daily at 6:00AM and I'm an early bird so with some smart planning, next trip will include perishable comestibles (cuz produce always looks excellent), drop off at home in time to make first work appointment of the day! Staff is always available, helpful, pleasant. Cashier this trip was in the midst of her first day and nailing it like a pro! Took me awhile Smart & Final but like I said, I finally got smart.
