Average. Decent sized compared to the other Daiso locations I've been to, but this one looked very low stocked. There were barely any items on the shelves, but I guess that's good if you don't like it when stores are too cluttered. They also seemed to have all of the usual items that you'd find at the other locations as well as the same prices. Our cashier was really friendly and nice as he checked out our items. Not bad!

The cotton pads are great they don't give off a lot of lint

OK I posted a review for the wrong Daiso. As far as this Daiso goes it's actually similar in that it's a good sized of one of the Daiso stores but as of my last visit, their stock isn't as great as some of the other locations. My favorite locations - aside from the store in Little Tokyo which is just insane - are the stores down in the Gardena/Torrance area. This Daiso on Western is also in a highly congested part of Los Angeles so getting to it is a challenge. Once you do get there they do have parking, which is nice. But as a chain Daiso always has a fun selection of products: housewares, Asian snacks, office supplies, etc and at GREAT prices (most things are around $1.75 US and then some "expensive" items might be like $5 or $10). However I do notice - since my focus is usually on beauty supplies because I'm a makeup artist - that selection really varies by store.

This place is really cute and there are a lot of good finds that will surprise you. They sell a wide selection of items from kitchenwares, plates, bowl, utensils, and the like to make up, cleaning implements, snacks (chips, chocolates, and candies). The items are reasonably priced. If the item has no price tag then it is priced at a $1.75, there are also price charts posted for each and every aisle to determine the pricing of items. The only con when we shopped today was there was no available bag for the items that we purchased. Good thing, we had an extra bag to place the items we bought.

Located in the MaDang shopping center, this location of the very popular 'thousand-yen' retail store selling Japanese products, is a great place to pick up daily essentials (along with other things that you didn't know you needed....). It's very similar to the dollar stores that are all around us, except for more Asian related products (which is why Daiso can be found in areas of higher East Asian populations like Little Tokyo, Sawtelle, and K-Town).

Located inside MaDang Courtyard. There's really nothing to see here other than some overpriced Japanese kitchen & bathroom stuff and candies that you can find easily in other Asian groceries Skip this one & go to H Market in the ground level!

I love Daiso! Even though most of the items are $1.50, a lot of the merchandise is actually good quality. They were selling disposable face masks located at the cashier. They had shelves and shelves of hand sanitizer at a reasonable price. This location takes safety precautions seriously. All of the employees were wearing face coverings. There might be a line to get in the store because they have minimized the store occupancy. The parking garage entrance is on Manhattan. Prior to the pandemic, parking was a hit or miss. Now, parking is easy to find as there arent a lot of shoppers out and about now.

Good gadgets and home goods with incredible prices, many items are made in Japan, and they validate parking with a purchase

Empty shelves dusty and empty. The store looked unkept, racks were messy, and the overall shopping environment felt neglected compared to other locations. What made the experience worse was how uncomfortable we were made to feel almost immediately after entering the store. Within about two minutes of stepping inside, we were being followed by asset management . It was obvious and unnecessary, especially since we had just arrived and were simply looking for a few specific items we were there to purchase. Unfortunately, this wasn't the first time I've experienced something like this at Nordstrom. The same thing happened to me at the Westfield Culver City (Fox Hills) location after years of shopping there without any issue. As someone who has regularly spent $400 or more every visit at Nordstrom and Nordstrom Rack, it's extremely disappointing to feel singled out and followed around the store while shopping. I just had to leave. During this visit, I also noticed other shoppers in the store (not being followed), I guess other race of people do not steal, just mines. We must be followed! I don't have to shop there. Despite what appeared to be suspicious behavior elsewhere, the focus remained on following us instead of paying attention to actual store issues or potential theft. Nordstrom employees should focus on maintaining their stores and treating all customers equally rather than making loyal customers feel targeted. We recently moved to a luxury apartment near by, but because of these experiences, I will no longer be shopping at Nordstrom or Nordstrom Rack.

We made the effort to attend despite very poor weather conditions because my daughter was under the impression that a specific dress she wanted to try on would be available. That dress was listed as one that would be present at the event. After traveling in icy conditions to get there, we were very upset to learn that the dress was not available at all. Additionally, our VIP tickets stated that a seating area would be provided. This was especially important because we brought a grandmother who needed a place to sit. There was no seating available, which was not only inconvenient but also disappointing, as we had hoped to sit comfortably and watch my daughter try on dresses. The Pop-Up Show was advertised as a "try before you buy" experience, leading us to believe that dresses available on your website would be present to try on in person. Unfortunately, that was not the case. It quickly became apparent that the selection consisted primarily of overstock or clearance dresses, with very limited options and sizes. There was not a single dress that felt comparable in quality to what is represented online. After making the trip in unsafe weather conditions and arriving with such high expectations, the experience was heartbreaking. We were genuinely upset, crying-level disappointed, by how different the event was from what had been advertised. I felt it was important to share this feedback, as the experience fell far short of what was promised and expected, especially for VIP ticket holders.

It's actually interesting to see a diverse crowd hang out here compared to back then when it was nothing but Korean people. The first floor retains most of the stores that existed back then too; Music Plaza which always had an insane selection of Korean music, the quaint coffee shop near the food court, the stationary store and bookstore near the elevator and of course the Food Court itself. Has the best prices of all sorts of Korean cuisine out there; I always gravitate towards the Dddukgook (Rice Cake Soup). The H-Mart used to be the mall's own market (called Plaza Market). I was a small kid back then, but it's quite congested as a grown adult over 6 foot tall. The layout is exactly the same from back then and I love it. There used to be a very tiny bakery next to the H-Mart on the left, but they have a much larger bakery on the right. The decor is still that same 80s-esque pink and teal tile, which I hope they never change. The second floor used to have this toy store that used to sell all sorts of Power Rangers and Pokemon toys. I miss it dearly, albeit I believe it was very overpriced back then lol. I believe it's the mail store now. The third floor used to have this appliance/electronics store called "ABC Plaza". It had literally everything from USA albums, Korean appliances, and a whole section for Japanese import games. As a kid it felt like paradise.
