Food: our favorite and most unique was probably the ravioli. Everything else was really solid. The only thing I would pass on next time was the chicken because it was dry. Service: our waiter really knew the menu and made great recommendations. His biggest recommendation was the ravioli which did not disappoint! Ambiance: clean, modern, and overall good vibes

This place deserves all the love. Came solo in a week night and was promptly seated at the bar. The place is delightfully decorated and spotless with friendly and attentive staff. The bar staff were kind, prompt and friendly throughout. I love the service fee being included. Tried the onion dip with accompanying whimsically sculpted in house chips and they tasted amazing. But they were the warmup act. The Stracci with its slow braised lamb shoulder reduced in lamb stock and topped with pecorino cheese? That is a work of ART. Most excellent pasta entrees start out amazing but towards the end begins to lose its luster and eventually you're just eating it. This started out in amazing fashion but half way through I realized I was enjoying each bite more than the last. And despite what my stomach was telling me I felt a bit of sadness when the bowl was empty. Or maybe the sadness stemmed from being too full to try a dessert. Either way what an outstanding experience. How Logan Square became the culinary heart of this city in the last 10-20 years is beyond me but I am thrilled it has.

This dinner blew us away. Service was awesome, they refilled our waters constantly and noticed when we didn't like a drink. The food came out at a normal and good pace. Every dish packed so much flavor- the cook was perfect, and each was done with finesse. My favorite was the pierogi pasta and the onion dip but truly all were hits. I loved the ambiance and will definitely be taking friends and family there to try everything!

The food was amazing, drinks were fine and service was good but uneven (even though they put us in the way back and it was less hectic than main dining room) so taking off a star for that and their auto gratuity policy, which generally I support but at 25% and that they don't allow you to transfer your bar tab to your table is lazy. Will shout out that they were great about subbing dishes to account for my friend not eating meat. Our server marked up the menu to show which dishes could be altered vs no go. The food: - potted carrots - so fun but wish there was more carrot dip for the amount of pillow empanadas - stracci- ok but very rich, actually had to get these to go - rigatoni - good but missed the whole experience of the njuda mixed into the cook - ravioli - by far our fave dish of the night even with the bacon on the side for me Cocktails were fine but nothing too inventive. Ambiance was quieter since we were in the back room. As we walked out, saw more than a few empty tables but a lot of ppl waiting by the door so could have been an off service night overall.

Have been walking by this restaurant for years even when they were up the street. Yesterday went in for my birthday dinner. Started off with the cheese curds which they put sweet potato in makes you feel healthy eating fried cheese. Ordered a rigatoni dish which was interesting and delightful. The tomato was fermented which I've never had in a pasta dish before. We also ordered a pork collar. It was tender like a steak. It arrived after our pasta dishes. I'm not a big oenophile so got a Pigeon porter beer. Ordered dessert gooey butter cake which was tremendous. Because I was celebrating my birthday they brought piece of cake with candle. Offered it to girlfriend after I blew out candle.

Restaurant Week Review! Daisies offers a true elevated "farm to table" experience. The menu changes with what is in season to ensure ingredients on menu are fresh and high quality. When I visited, my group decided to do the four course tasting menu and share most of the plates. We got two rounds of drinks and one person got the wine pairings to the tasting menu. My favorite drinks by far were the Mushroom Margarita and Aplini. My friend also got an espresso martini that they kindly made decaf instead of with cold brew. For course one, we got the Sweet Onion Toast, Burrata, and Beets. This collectively was our least impressive course of the evening. The flavors were good but didn't sing like some of the other dishes we tried. My favorite was the Sweet Onion Toast but if you like beets, that may be your favorite option. For course two, we got the Pappardelle and Winter Squash Cannelloni. This was by far our favorite course of the night. The savory versus sweet pasta options displayed how different the flavor profiles can be with the same pasta base. We all loved both of these. For course three, we got the Pork Collar and Celery Root Cake. Everyone enjoyed the Pork Collar but I didn't try it. I was very impressed by the Celery Root dish which had freshly baked brussel sprouts and what tasted like a polenta cake. This was a surprisingly good and fresh feeling dish but not very filling. For course four, we got the Dark Chocolate Tart, Vanilla Bean Rice Pudding, and Butter Cake. My personal favorite was the Butter Cake as it was sweet, cake had a nice bite to it, and loved the sweetness balance. My least favorite was the Vanilla Bean Rice Pudding. Overall, this was the perfect way to get a true taste of Daisies menu offering. The pasta course blew me away. It was a bit frustrating that during restaurant week, they do not offer their standard a la carte menu nor their happy hour special. I wish this was clearly noted to guests. Either way, it will give me an excuse to come back and try more soon enough! Tip: All checks have a 25% service charge to ensure employee share equal, quality wages. Additional tip is optional.

Daisies was great! The restaurant is absolutely beautiful. Service was outstanding. I am still dreaming of the gluten free pasta with mushroom ragout. It was herby and delicious. My daughter loved her pierogi dish with mussels. We also ordered the Fritto Misto and it was a fun appetizer. Gratuity is included automatically at 25% Didn't love the housemade grape soda but they were happy to change it out. Enjoyed the housemade hibiscus kombucha, tho. I look forward to returning and trying more things!!

Daises is a restaurant by night but also opens up in the morning and day as a cafe. During the day they have a limited menu as well as pastries and coffee for sell. The croissant I had was very delicious and really enjoyed their coffee. A decent sized spot and a great spot to chill and work for a bit as well. Service was great and friendly I would definitely dime back here to try the dinner menu.

We tried the ravioli which was our favorite the grapes really balanced the dish out. The gnocchi was good but was very average. The mushroom pappardelle was decent. The ravioli was the unique and flavorful to us. Also tried two dessert. The gelato taste more like ice cream but was very good. We got the peanut butter cookie dough one. The gooey butter cake was a let down. The elements on the dish didn't seem to go well together. The cake itself was good. But the sauce and jello like things in it were not very good.

Loved daises!!!! I went for restaurant week & got 3 courses for $45 + we ordered the onion dip and chips. My favorite was the sweet onion toast. It was AMAZING and tasted like french onion soup in toast form. I also loved mushroom pasta - it was so flavorful and I loved the thick noodle shape. I also loved the onion dip and chips. So long story short, everything was a 10/10. Definitely make a reservation they are always packed. And beware if you paid a despot for your reservation and are splitting the bill with friends - they subtract it from your tab. Our server did not mention this at all so it was very confusing at the end while trying to split the check. Overall had a good experience - they also brought out a mini price of chocolate cake for my birthday!!! So nice!

I was looking forward to this restaurant ever since I booked the reservation a month ago, and it lived up to its expectations for the most part! Immediately upon arriving, it felt very lively with their cafe near the front entrance. The atmosphere and vibe felt like a modern farmhouse feel and the host was very welcoming which set the initial tone of our experience. We were seated early while we waited for the rest of our table to arrive. In the meantime, we ordered a matcha latte and black and tan from the cafe that serves La Colombe coffee. It was good, but nothing too special. Once the rest of our party arrived, we all opted in the restaurant week experience. We all started off with the cinnamon brown sugar coffee cafe, which was dense and not overly sweet. For our main courses and sides, we got 1 of each since there were 4 of us and we shared all of the dishes. We got the eggs benedict, quiche, biscuits and gravy, pappardelle, breakfast potatoes, sage maple sausage, bacon, and simple greens salad. We thought the eggs benedict had a unique flavor, we couldn't quite figure out what was on it, it seemed like collared greens and mushrooms but it unfortunately had an odd aftertaste. It wasn't bad, just something different. The quiche had a nice flavor but we were disappointed with the portion size, the quiche was very small and it came with a side salad that seemed like it was added so the dish would look more full. The biscuits and gravy had a nice flavor but the biscuit was slightly dry, I think it could've used more gravy. The pappardelle was the star of the meal, the flavors worked really well together, especially with the mushroom ragu. For the sides, the breakfast potatoes were perfectly seasoned and crispy, definitely the best side. We were pleasantly surprised with the sausage, the texture was perfect and it tasted very fresh. The simple greens salad was unfortunately disappointing, it wasn't anything special, I wish we got another side of breakfast potatoes instead. Lastly, the bacon was rich in flavor. Overall, we had a great experience, there were a few things we didn't like about the food but for the most part, it was delicious and the atmosphere was lovely for a Sunday brunch. We will definitely be back!

This review isnt going to be about food. This restaurant has so many accolades, please see NYT best of Chicago or any recent Michelin guide. They are all accurate! This was our wedding day. No ceremony, no honeymoon. Daisies was our celebration. They didnt know it but they made this so special, more than they could have imagined. It was just the two of us, and it felt like home in a room full of people who genuinely cared about us. Every server, waitstaff, management, bartender etc. congratulated us and made us feel special. The service and thoughtfulness were impeccable and truly the food lived up to the hype. 10/10 Xabazillion!

I've been eyeing Daisies for a while now, and I finally got the chance to check them out yesterday! They're usually booked out, but luckily I was in the area on a weekday and lucked out. We waited ~15 minutes before we received a text letting us know that our table was ready. The inside is super cute and cozy! Definitely a cute spot for a date. After some heavy contemplation, we ordered the ravioli & pappardelle. The ravioli came out first, and I was immediately a tad bit disappointed... it was $28 and came with 6 pieces of ravioli. I pushed my disappointment aside and tried it out, and it was yummy. It was cheesy and paired well with the sauce, bacon, and tomatoes! Very yummy but not sure if it's worth the price. Shortly after, they served us with the pappardelle. It certainly was a larger portion size than the ravioli, so I was certainly relieved. I'm honestly not a huge fan of red sauce pasta, but it was actually pretty delicious and not too sour (?). I also think the sauce paired very well with the mushrooms. Overall, I do agree that the pasta was certainly delicious. However, considering the price point of the food items and the fact that they charge you a 25% automatic gratuity... I am not sure if it's a place I could confidently recommend to other people. I'm certain there are better pasta spots in Chicago.

What is the price per person? I want to get a gift card but not sure for how much. Thank you?

Does anyone know how to make reservation for their outdoor patio?

Do they have gluten free options? I see a dessert item but didn't see any note for gf pasta, so just checking, thanks!

Yes! There is a gluten-free pasta that they can sub in for most pasta dishes! Many apps are also gluten-free and they have an amazing gluten-free cookie!

Can Daisies accommodate a vegan diet? If so, which dishes are suitable options?

I am vegetarian and I noticed a lot of of vegetarian dishes but not so sure about vegan...- a lot of creamy sauces.

"Welcome back." I…read morehesitate. I know with absolute certainty that I have never stepped foot in Chicago. Yet, the bartenders greet us with such a warm and friendly energy that I know with absolute certainly that I have been a regular at this bar for years. Decades. Centuries. I know within my soul that this was my go-to bar in a past life (and hopefully in the next). Just as welcoming as the awesome people are the $1 PBRs and $3 shots of tequila. And of course they hand out free hot dogs every night at midnight, which in my (intoxicated) mind was cemented as the definitive Chicago dog, even if it comes with no toppings whatsoever. And fittingly complementing the amazing energy of the bar is a 10 hour Youtube video of that memed Ukrainian kid dancing at a club playing endlessly on the TVs. Rocking sunglasses and looking like a stud, absolutely grooving without a single care in the world, and effortlessly matching every single song on the bar's playlist. That kid truly embodies the spirit of this bar. No matter what day it is, what time of day it is, or who visits, the bar's energy always works. Vibing to Black Eyed Peas on a Monday night never felt better. Imma be... back one day, rest assured. I genuinely can't wait for the next time I'm greeted with, "Welcome back."

We sat in the back patio area. The patio was covered and heated, supposedly. It was cold back there to me. They have $30 bottomless mimosas for brunch from 11-3. I ordered the chicken sandwich and added an egg. I also had the hot tots that came with queso dip. The food was really good actually. The chicken sandwich surprised me at how flavorful it was. Service was okay. The kitchen seemed swamped, so it took awhile for food to come out. They didn't check on us super frequently. Overall, the food was good, and the people that I went with enjoyed the bottomless mimosa deal.
