Believe it or not, but Dairy Queen has the best tacos around they're way better than Taco Bell. They've got real meat and the lettuce and tomato looks like real lettuce and tomatoes. Watched a man pick a burger patty up from on the counter (without gloves) and toss it across the kitchen to the other counter where someone else (also no gloves?? Wtf??) put it in a bun. This place HAS to fail a surprise food inspection. The woman who handed me my cup grabbed INSIDE the cup and left nasty marks with her obviously unwashed hands. Nobody here cares about hygiene and it shows, you can smell it too avoid at all costs. My wife and I have visited the Dairy Queen in White Oak, TX twice in recent weeks and have been very pleased with the service and quality of food. It was nice to go to a Dairy Queen in TX and actually be able to get a chocolate soft serve ice cream cone. It's the only Dairy Queen we've found in TX that has chocolate soft serve and doesn't look at you like you are from outer space when you ask for a chocolate soft serve cone. Every other state we've lived in the Dairy Queen's all had chocolate soft serve, but not in most parts of TX... why????? read more

5/8/19 - Tried to go through the drive-through shortly after 9 PM but no one ever took my order. Waited for over 5 minutes. They were open till 10 PM and the drive-through sign was still on. I drove around to the order pick up window where a customer was picking up an order so I drive back through the drive through and again, nothing. The employees saw me and never asked or indicated the drive through was closed or a problem with the speaker. This may have been an unfortunate and isolated issue but non the less, it was not a good experience at all. read more

Dairy Queen in white oak is awful. They are SUPPOSED to follow their own rules about the height requirements for playing in the play room and a lady brought in 8-10 10+ year old kids that were over a foot of the height and they shouldn't have been able to go in and they acted like wild animals and physically PUSHED my 3 year old daughter and almost made her fall over the side railing over the slides. Their mother had the audacity to tell us her kids are respectful. What kinda "respectful" kids pushes a baby.?! And the employees acted dumb and didn't do anything or even cared. Once saying we are gonna go to the police station next door to complain, or call the higher up managemen, THATS WHEN they changed attitudes and was apologetic and acting all nervous. Dairy Queen employees are childish and don't do their job or follow their own rules. If you want to take your kids their to play, I couldn't recommend because they let pre-teens and teens in there "TODDLER AREA" that end up bulling or hurting your younger children. read more

I walked in and was greeted with a smile.. not only did they help me on what to order they were knowledgeable about the menu which always is nice... its hard to find good customer service these days and kudos to everyone at this location. the food was delicious and I walked out with a smile.. This place is amazingly clean for it to be an older Dairy Queen. They even clean their plant leaves. They have a very spacious lobby also.

Food is always hot and made right. Pretty clean and well run for a fast food joint. Huge play area for the kiddos plus a couple of arcade games. Ask for the 1/2 lb flamethrower if you want a good burger. read more

First of all I had to wait 45 minutes for 3 burgers and some fries. I get home and the burgers are ice cold and 2 of the burgers are completely wrong. One of them didn't even have meat on it!! I am a regular customer and I eat there at least once a week. The food is good, and so is the service. The place is always clean EXCEPT the tables. Never, not once have I gone in there and been able to find a table that didn't have crumbs or something smeared on it. If they would just clean the tops of their tables better, it would be the best DQ around. SO if you eat there, make sure and take some anti-bacterial wipes to clean your table. That, or eat off the tray. read more
