Good food was ready when I got there. I used the mobile App with no problems. Fries were not over seasoned with just the right amount of salt for people with HBP. Associate at the counter got my order and supplied the soda and I was ready to go. Nice clean restaurant tables were clean and the TV was on with the sound muted. Music was nice no heavy metal or acid rock like you get in other fast food places. You can not drive around the building you end up in the drive thru lane had to back up luckily no one was behind me. This is the worst DQ in Texas. We arrived at 9PM and was informed that we would have to take our order to go. The website says open until 10PM and the staff says they close at 9:30PM. I told them I can't feed 3 kids ice cream in the car. The girl look at me as if I was crazy. Again she repeated all orders are to go only. I ask to speak to the manager multiple times. I have 3 kids up-set because they were not going to get ice cream. I was upset and the kids were upset. I did order the ice cream, figured they would just have to eat outside. Again i ask for a manager, and phone number to Corp or Main office. Never did a manager come out to explain or attempt to resolve the problem. After a few minutes the kids given their ice cream. Again I ask for a manager - employees looked at me as if they had no idea why I would want to talk to a manager. i gather the kids and their ice cream, few extra napkins. As I was leaving - I stated to them "I Am going to follow up on this matter". Just as I got the kids and ice cream out the door -- One of the girls said oh my manger said you could stay. She said I forgot to tell you because I was helping Drive -thru. we did come back in and set at table. We made sure we left no mess. I ordered two medium Snickers blizzards with extra snickers and what I received was, as my sister fittingly put it, two medium vanilla soft serves with one fun size snickers split between them. Absolutely ridiculous. There wasn't enough snickers in either of the blizzard for a regular amount of snickers, let alone extra. Worst exprience ever at the Temple Texas Dairy Queen next to the mall on 31st Street. First of all the employees had the open light turned off. I ordered from the drive thru 2 Georgia Mud Fudge Blizzards which is a long time famous DQ original. I was given the total but nobody bothered to finish up confirming my order... just awkward silence on the loudspeaker. After a period of time I rode around the corner to the drive-thru window and a very ratchet looking and sounding female approached me in a very aggressive manner slammed open window and said "We don't do no Georgia Mud Fudge no mo" and by her tone of voice and body language it looked like she really did not want to have any customers at that moment which I found very bizarre because I have ordered several Blizzards of the same flavor over the years at this same location. I visited the 31st street location in Temple. I just wanted a small vanilla cone. The car in front of me had a big food order. I said I only wanted a cone. The woman responded she would have the car move up. (She did not). Waited 10 minutes. They were handed their order and sat another few minutes. In the mean time I see her holding my cone waiting for them to pull off. She pushes some buttons on the cash register and her hand hits my ice cream. When I pull up she tries to hand me the cone and I say I don't want that one as your hand just hit my ice cream. She rolls her eyes, drops the cone in the trash and walks away. Another employee who was standing near the window and heard the exchange made my cone and took my money. Why should I accept a cone your hand has touched my ice cream? My daughter was having a rough day so I took her to get some ice cream as a pick me up. I asked for a vanilla ice cream in a cup instead of a cone. This seemed to be beyond what the employee could handle. I then asked for a blizzard that they had featured on some signage. No one knew how to make it. So, I asked for another featured blizzard. Again, no one knew how to make it. I asked for a regular blizzard flavor that is on their permanent menu and I got an eye roll like they were hoping I would've just walked away after the first 2 attempts. As I was waiting for the ice cream I was treated to loud conversations about how all the employees wanted a smoke break and how they hated working there and what a**hole customers that had had all day. Meanwhile a line was forming at the counter that they were ignoring. When I finally got my ice cream it was a game of trying to find a clean table. I wiped one down myself but we only sat for a few minutes before having to leave because it smelled like a sewer in the store. The whole dining area just reeked of urine. This particular location is very dirty. It's a location with food and ice-cream treats. But, the extremely dirty upkeep will keep me away.

First of all, the drive through is extremely slow and is set up in such a way that you can't get out once you get in line. My mom has eaten here 2 to 3 times a week for the last few years. She saves those little tokens that they give you for a mini blizzard. She has always been told that she can use them later if she wants. Today the manager claimed that the token that is clearly marked for a mini blizzard can only be redeemed for a sundae. This makes absolutely no sense. She said something about them running out of sundae tokens. My mom is an older woman who was already having a really bad day, and she got so upset that I don't think she'll ever go back. read more

Decided to treat my two sons to some ice cream on an unusually warm day in January. Ordered two blizzards, a moolatte and a hot fudge Sunday with bananas. Pulled up to the drive through window and asked if I could add a peanut buster parfait, and that's when the simple trip went wrong! The Hispanic girl in the drive through makes a face like I'm inconveniencing HER but proceeds to make the peanut buster parfait. When we pay for our order, we realize she never made one of the blizzards, when asked about it, she makes another face and says she never got it.....IT WAS THE FIRST BLIZZARD I ORDERED! Once again, getting an attitude, she proceeds to make the blizzard and we pay for it.
