no matter how many bad reviews this place will get, it will still be up for the next 20 to 30 years lol because DQ's name will carry it. but Who ever deals with the hiring should be fired and asked to be studied with mutiple chocie questions at a university for brain development issues. along with the person who asked them to be the hiring manager. Was always a summer go-to in the past, however, this summer has been terrible! Ice cream melts faster than other locations, the dips are sparse, and the portions are inconsistent. Mid-July, the new staff is "as-a-matter-of-fact" rude and feign politeness. After the third ice cream (order at different times and dates over the course of three weeks) I'm beginning to wonder if pulling cones so crooked that they fall on customers isn't a running joke. I hope the owner promotes a positive workplace or if the approach is the same as the location's up-keep. I don't go to Dairy Queen all that often but today I thought I'd head over for a blizzard, since I really wanted a thick ice cream treat. It sure hit the spot! I used the drive through today and there was a line, but it moved pretty quickly. The Ina street location near Goodwill, is sort of hard to get out of since INA is the busiest street of all time with trains causing back up pretty much all the time. However the service was great, the cashier was fast and friendly . I noticed a current promotion today; buy one blizzard get the second for 99 cents. I sort of wished I got one for the freezer at that price. My chocolate silk pie blizzard was outstanding. read more

They tried to charge me for a pup cup for my dog. I was shocked because no other Dairy Queen or even Starrbucks has ever charged for it. so I googled it when I got home and I guess some Dairy Queens can opt to charge their customer for it. If you like Dairy Queen, this location is fine. The staff is okay; they will scoop you some ice cream, but don't expect any special treatment. I would prefer to go to the Screamery or Blue Banana. Dairy Queen is also not inexpensive; you'll pay the same as if you went to a locally owned ice cream shop. My boyfriend is a fan of the Blizzard though, so we go now and again. I like ice cream, but I'm not a diehard, so a mini Blizzard or strawberry Julius is my usual pick. More often than not, I go to Dairy Queen to get a pup cup for my doggo. This is where the Ina store gets docked. They just pulled a cup of vanilla out of a cooler, and there wasn't much ice cream in it. At other locations I've been to, they fill it up and put a Milkbone in it. I could see them just giving you a little bit if it was free, but I am paying for it, so give my woofer some ice cream, please! read more

I have been to this location couple times and I have never had a problem with my ice cream. The only minor problem I have with this location is that because it is a brazier (a smaller location) the service can be slow sometimes. I love the blizzards they are always awesome! My go-to is the Reese's Blizzard. Whatever you do, don't look up how many calories are in them :) I will always be a fan of their ice cream. Do you like peanut buster parfaits? I have loved them for as long as I can remember but try to go too often....haven't been in 6 months or so and it was so hot we decided to stop and get some ice cream. I wanted an ice cream cake and waited patiently for a few minutes with several of them looking back to me and not saying a word.
