THE FOOD ----------------…read more+ Menu is like any other Shake Shack you'll walk into (or order from online). No surprises on it meaning you will experience some of the best and most consistent fast food you've everrrr had. + ShakeBurger - As good of a burger that you will find anyyyyywhere, fast food or not. Well-constructed, delicious patty and those Martin rolls are perfffffect. + SmokeShack - Same as the ShakeBurger, but with an extra patty and some bacon. Always my go to here. + ChickenShack - Definitely up there with some of the best chicken sandwiches you will have. Extra crispy breaded chicken, lettuce, pickles. + Chicken Bites - Teeny, tiny, but delicious popcorn chicken. + Cheese Fries - Those addictive crispy, crinkle-cut fries. Don't care if they are frozen or not because they are some of the best fast food fries you will have. + Shakes - Fresh and spun perfectly. A little thickness, but definitely not soupy. + Mac & Cheese - Creamy and hot. Good enough for the kids = good enough for me. THE SERVICE ------------------- + As with any other location, their employees are as well trained as there is for a fast food restaurant. Employees here have been predominantly courteous, friendly and quick to service your requests. THE SURROUNDINGS ------------------------------- + Clean interior with plenty of tables and seats. + Always love that all locations offer free filtered water. + Plenty of parking spaces in the back and a few in the front. + Located right off of Route 17 South in the heart of Paramus. The service is typically enthusiastic, though sometimes slow depending on how busy they are. The biggest drawback is the price; it feels costly for what you get, and the atmosphere, while bright, is standard chain fare. Pro tip: I like to stock up on their gift card bonus offers, or you can purchase at Costco for discount rates to make the treat more worthwhile. It's a fine, fun treat, but it's not an everyday option unless you utilize those discounts.

I ordered a small milkshake for my daughter and this is what I was given (please refer to the attached picture). It should be noted they had a Roku remote on the counter that I grabbed to use as a size reference. I just want to emphasize that this is the amount of milkshake we were given, it was NOT drank from. Baffled by the lack of milkshake in the cup, I asked the employee if this was my small milkshake he confirmed it was. The employee was a very nice young man and advised he had simply followed the measurements given to him by his employer. I'm not sure if it was a mistake on the young man's end but if this is their "small" milkshake I will no longer be frequenting Stack Creamery.

We came on a Saturday early evening and enjoyed a few flavors (banana puddin, graham street, and cookies and cream). Overall the flavors aren't super unique and the excessive sweetness was a bit much considering the portion size. Three scoops in a waffle cone is enough for two or maybe three people. It also wasn't very hot that day and the ice cream kept melting out of the cup and cone. The texture of the ice cream was much softer than at some spots. Not a bad thing necessarily but messy nonetheless. Service was friendly. There are a couple tables and a bench to enjoy your treat. Or walk into town and walk off those calories. Parking is available behind the location but there's also street parking that's paid around 8 am-6 pm every day except Sunday.

The portion size…read morewas incredibly small there was barely enough ice cream for a few bites, literally about three spoonfuls. For a dessert at that price point, I expected something that at least resembled a full sundae. I understand that restaurants have different pricing structures and presentations, and I don't mind paying premium prices when the quality and portion justify the cost. However, what I received felt completely out of proportion to the price charged. It was disappointing to spend $17 on a dessert and leave feeling like I had barely been served anything at all. The ice cream itself may have been fine, but the value simply wasn't there. A sundae should feel like a treat, not a sample. I left feeling frustrated and disappointed, and I hope management takes a closer look at the portion sizes being served because this experience did not meet expectations.

I do have to say, the dinner options are only okay. There aren't really a lot of low cal options and what they do have are not very exciting. But oh man, the dessert was great. Come for just that.
