This specific location in Lima, is a staple. The food is always fresh. It's just under Kewpee on my list when I visit in the summer.

Ice cream is all good. Food is cooked right. Prices are okay at the moment. Should put out a patio so people can sit and eat.

We did the drive thru, as we were whipped from driving. We ordered a cheeseburger added bacon, a double cheeseburger added bacon, two orders of fries, a double large drink (32 oz.), and order of chili added cheese and fritos, and a medium frosted malt. All our food was very good. The chili is best with the cheese and fritos, as it is a thinner based chili, not thick. The drive through line was long, but we can see why based on the food quality. They do NOT have military discounts for retired military veterans, probably the only negative comment we can provide. They require a signature on your credit card receipt, so they are a little behind the times on that aspect. We ate in our hotel rooms, so can't comment on the dinning room...our hotel room was nice. It was worth the high marks that caused us to give it a try...it is an awesome local burger joint. We highly recommend it.

We all got burgers, fries, and a couple of frozen yogurts & malts. Everything was fresh, cooked to order, and the prices can't be beat. Our only recommendation is they need to season the burgers - they were bland and needed salt. The fries needed salt, as well. Luckily we had packets so were able to take care of that in the car. Neat place.

This place has been on my list for a long time, so when we were passing through Lima, we just had…read moreto check it out. I picked this location because of the art deco building. We had to find street parking because there was nowhere to park. We ordered burgers, fries, a small soda, a medium malt, and a slice of sugar cream pie. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The way they do things is a little different. They put a tray right in front of you and prepare your order as you watch. Very efficient! An interesting thing to note is that the small soda is the smallest soda cup I've ever seen. It holds around 6 ounces, so I recommend ordering the large because it's only 30 cents more. My cheeseburger was under $4 for 1/4 lb, so very reasonably priced. I selected my toppings (tartar sauce, onions, lettuce, and pickles), and my hubby got a double cheeseburger with bacon and added miracle whip, lettuce, onions, and tomato. Another interesting thing is that they use miracle whip instead of mayo. They also use butter lettuce, which I've never seen on fast food burgers. It was a nice touch. Our burgers were really good, but my hubby wouldn't get miracle whip again because it has an overpowering flavor. The fries were good, though a bit dry. The malt was like a chocolate Wendy's frosty, but so much better! It was really busy the whole time we were there, including a nonstop drive thru line that went into the street. Kewpee's is obviously very popular with the locals, and I can see why.

I started with a gummy bear cocktail, which was just like drinking a strawberry Jolly Rancher. Then my date & I were served toasted ravioli as our appetizer... they were perfect! Crispy on the outside, soft & tasy on the inside. The marinara complimented the ricotta and breaded pasta well. For my meal, I had some yummy fried shrimp with cocktail sauce. I was very pleased. My curly fried potato wedges (don't call them curly fries!) were crisp on the outside & soft inside. I really enjoyed them. My side of fruit & side salad with balsamic vinaigrette were fine, neither great nor terrible. My fiancé had some delicious chili, though it was cold when served. Out waitress obliged our request to reheat it & when it came back out, it was just right. The cornbread was moist, sweet, and "cakey." I'm from North Carolina &, let me just say, the cornbread was some of the best I've had in ages. The chicken sandwich was good. We ordered some cinnamon caramel pretzel bites (like cinnamon sugar balls) to go & I can attest that they didn't last long the next day when they were warmed up. Overall, this was a nice meal in a quaint Ohio downtown. Should we return to Lima, we'll stop in at 318 again!

Then all hell broke loose people start to panic because of all the orders pouring in I sit down by the door and keep eye contact on the counter helped that took my order. Man comes in an electric wheelchair. They take his order and I'm thinking OK I'll be ready to go here in a few minutes. That didn't happen. People start coming through the drive-through. They're getting their orders the man in the wheelchair gets his order at 11:20 after I walked up to the counter and stood there and nobody behind the counter. Talk to me. Finally, the woman at the drive-through says Are you waiting on something I said yeah I'm waiting on my order that I placed at 11:02 of a BLT a super sack of spuds and a medium Mountain Dew. They completely forgotten it so they had to hurry up and make it for me so I can go back to work. The person that took my order handed me. My food never said a word to me, but the woman over the drive-through apologize for my wait I should've been given the food for free and my money back for the time I had to wait

The place was very clean and the staff was friendly. I ordered a hamburger, chili and soft drink. The hamburger was good but lukewarm. I found that to be odd, with so few people, you didn't have the decency to give me a hot hamburger! The chili was mediocre, which is precisely the reason I didn't get what I really wanted, which was a coney dog. With the way the hamburger and chili were, I have low expectations for the taste and quality of the hot dog. Other than that, everything else was fine.
