This is my favorite place to get a burger in the Twin Cities (Centralia/Chehalis). "Do you want onions on that?" is always the question they ask when you place you order. My answer is always "yes!". I don't know what it is about their burgers, but the combination of lettuce, onions, tomato, and dressing is second to none around here. You have to get your order "to go". They have a secondary building that serves as the "sit-down" part of the establishment, but is is basically a covered picnic area. The drive through is kind of unique...car go one way on one side of the building and the opposite way on the other side. This really is a burger "shack" in the very sense of the word. A great place to get a burger, fries and a thick shake less the a minute off I5. Been eating here for years every time I drive south on my way to Oregon. Fresh burgers, crisp crinkle cut fries with what tastes like Johnys season salt and many flavors of thick creamy shakes. I'm partial to the peanut butter and chocolate flavor. I decided to give this place a second chance after stopping in a few months ago. Exact same problem as last time. We ordered 4 cheeseburgers and the buns around the edges looked to have been soaked in water. Soggy and gross! I asked for no pickles( same as last time) and burger came with them once again . Great place for a quick milkshake. The server was helpful and let us know that there are actually more milkshake flavors than what is on the menu, so don't hesitate to ask. The strawberry milkshake was delicious and we were told it was made from strawberry purée instead of syrup unlike some of the flavors. Would recommend. read more

Stopped in today for a quick lunch. Someone please explain to me why a grilled ham & cheese and a pepsi cost $8.98? When I looked at the menu a grilled cheese was $3.50 and pepsi was $2.35. That's $5.85....there was not $3 of ham lunchmeat on my sandwich. The sandwich was average at best. I guess this is another local business I will not ne returning to. read more

Drove from Olympia to try the house Coney sauce on the footlong dog. Well worth the trip and the fries were the best. Fresh made fruit shakes make the meal. Will be back soon. Nice to have a lunch made to order with excellent service from the staff. read more

If I could give this place zero stars I would. I used to love coming here! But one employee an (older lady) didn't change her gloves after touching her face and hair while making the burgers and put hand sanitizer on the gloves. She also drank out of her cup while making my food. She was extremely rude while taking my order. It took more time to write my order down than to make my food. Maybe she could use some more customer service training. This place is also extremely over priced for low quality food. Lastly maybe make sure the window is closed before you complain about a customer or start cussing. read more

Our go-to burger joint for a decent bacon cheeseburger in Chehalis. Prices are adequate with plenty variety in the menu with sweet potato fries, great onion rings, coney dogs, shakes and typically a good special all the time. The overall cost can add up at times though and the burgers are not really unique but are well prepared and fresh. read more

Excellent food. Fast service. Reasonable price. We had cheeseburgers with bacon, patty melt, taters tots and peanut butter milkshakes. Perfectly crispy bacon. If I could give 0 stars I would without hesitation. I was so excited to support a local restaurant while in town for a sporting event. After getting our 2 bags of food and handing it out to our 3 kids, we let them know we were missing an item. Not a huge deal, it happens with big orders every now and again I imagine. I thought it would be a simple fix....just get us our $4 chicken nuggets order and we can be on our way. However, they proceeded to refuse to admit they could have possible messed up and said they know it was in the bag with "nug" written on it. They even checked their "video" and said it showed them putting it in the bag insinuating we had the order and were asking for a free one. There was no "nug" bag in our bag of food or anywhere in our car. Very insulting. Hope they find their chicken nuggets. Will never be back and will make sure our team and friends/family do not support this business. I was looking forward to supporting them every time we go for a tournament but will take my money else where. Worst customer service I have experienced in a long time. read more

This is a small drive thru that's been around like 50 years. And there's good reason for it. The western burger was very good. Loaded with thick bacon, not the pre-cooked stuff. The onion rings were great. But the tartar sauce is the best I've had in I don't know how long. If you're looking for something good and quick this is can't miss. read more

Driving past Chehalis, my hubby & i decided to check out the historic part of town. We noticed the little blue Dairy Bar with a few cars & trucks in the drive-up...ok, why not? I have lived in Centralia my whole life and 20 years ago this place was good. I just ate there and it was so horrible my dog wouldn't even eat it!!!!! The fries were soaked in grease and they were soggy and absolutely horrible!!!! 9.00 for a burger basket and the burger was just as horrible. I could make playdough figures out of mushy bun. Surprised by all the great reviews - shakes are soft serve flavored with Torani syrup. Cheesecake flavor = overly sweet birthday cake frosting. Service was friendly and fast. read more

The burgers aren't bad, but the Coney Island I just had was disappointing. $4.50 seems a little steep for a hot dog with a stale bun, and about a tablespoon on beef sprinkled on top. Thank goodness I had an overpriced shake to try to wash it down with. read more

Cheeseburgers where good, our fries were super small (possibly the last of the bag), peanut butter milkshake was tasteless (it was plain peanut butter, there was some peanut butter on the inside of the cup and when I tasted it- it turned my stomach, completely flavorless) also ordered a blueberry milkshake that was completely white in color and tasted like vanilla, not a blueberry in sight. read more
