We came here on Saturday morning on our way home from the airport. It was our second time here and the last time ( 4 years ago) it was crowded and super long lines so I was a tad worried we would experience the same thing but happy to say we had no wait to order and was able to grab a table pretty easily. This is a fast casual restaurant. You place your order, they give you a letter/number so they can deliver the correct order to you. You pick your table, and grab your drink if its a fountain drink or iced tea or coffee. Our food took about 10-15 minutes and was nice and hot upon delivery. Our order consisted of red velvet waffles with chocolate chips added. Eggs benedict and an omelet. The waffles and omelet were generous portions. My eggs benedict was standard size. The two savory dishes came with breakfast potatoes. The food was good, nothing out of this world. I would not come here from Gilbert just to eat a meal as its not worth that drive but if in the neighborhood its good. I will say however it is really pricey for what you get. $63 for fast casual food is steep in my opinion. Also, the beverage area could be kept a bit cleaner in my opinion. The service was great however. The lady we ordered our food from was so kind and complimented my daughter on her outfit. Impromptu trip to Tempe landed us here! Cute spot, I do enjoy how streamlined everything was. Not pictured was a white chocolate mocha with oat milk, that honestly might have been the best part we both agreed that it was made really well lol so props to their barista! The peach mimosa was excellently prepared, with the perfect proportions of juice and champagne. The chicken and waffles was also really well prepared, with the chicken being crisp but not greasy or hard/over-cooked. They even let me substitute the standard waffle for their award-winning red-velvet ones, and at no extra cost. I loved this place and the location was great (in Downtown Tempe, near some buildings belonging to ASU, near one of the artificial waterfront property), and it's a hidden gem I would recommend you discover on a Sunday for a simple, quick brunch on the go, where everything is usually packed restaurant-wise because of families and going to church. Nobody can get a reservation anywhere for brunch nowadays, especially for breakfast brunch and lunch on Sundays that's really special. read more

Saturday morning breakfast after a stroll around Tempe Town Lake. The line moved quickly and there was sufficient seating indoors. Unfortunately, no oatmeal, which was what I wanted, but the Phoenix scramble was a good substitute. OJ tasted fresh-squeezed. Coffee was good but REALLY hot. Had to leave the cup open on the table for ten minutes before I could sip it. LOVED the Jayarr Steiner mural at the entrance -- spotted his inspirational work immediately and it made my day as always. The only off-putting issue was that the manager or owner was sitting in the dining area discussing business topics with employees -- not the appropriate place for those discussions. read more

Interesting setup. You can sit at a table and order or go to the front to order your food. I choose to sit outside because thee inside was packed which was a bad idea. Pigeons everywhere, above you, one jumped on my table while I was eating. There is bird shit on the wooden bench seats so be careful. I got a white peach mimosa, iced latte with sf caramel and a croque madame over medium. The sourdough was a little thick but really enjoyed the breakfast Sandwich. "Recently, I had the opportunity to dine at Daily Jam, an American breakfast brunch spot with a touch of Mexican influence. The restaurant's location is fantastic, and the ambiance is quite pleasant. The staff, overall, provided great service, although nothing extraordinary. One of the highlights of the experience was the variety of food options available, as well as the generous portion sizes. I enjoyed exploring the menu and trying different dishes. However, I must mention a significant drawback that unfortunately left me with a negative impression. During my meal, I discovered a roach on my plate. This incident was incredibly disheartening and ruined the overall experience for me. In the days that followed, I fell ill, and while I cannot definitively attribute it to the restaurant, it certainly raised concerns about the hygiene and food quality. Despite alerting one of the waiters, who appeared to be a lead staff member, I was at a loss for words and chose not to create a scene. I simply wanted to leave the premises as quickly as possible and have decided not to return it flat out ruined my dining experiences in Az. I have not gone out to eat since. To top things off I don't recall seeing the meal refunded to my Apple Pay as of yet. While Daily Jam has potential with its location, friendly staff, and ample food options, the presence of a roach on my plate and subsequent illness were significant deterrents. I wanted to give this place a higher rating but they really dropped the ball on some things. First off, the food is amazing. I will probably be returning just for this reason. Every plate we ordered was delicious and really hit the spot. Now for the bad -- my brother found a hair in his grilled cheese sandwich. That was off-putting and it ruined his appetite. The bathrooms were disgusting. They looked like they hadn't been cleaned in awhile. I ordered a brewed coffee with my meal. It wasn't brought to my table until after I had finished eating my meal. It took over an hour for them to deliver my coffee. I wanted to like this place more but, to me, these things were unacceptable. Great spot for a quick brunch bite! Dropped in on a Sunday morning with some friends thinking it was a sit down spot. We were surprised to learn that you have to order first and then find seating. There is no table service - meaning someone brings out your food when it is ready and someone will clear your table when you are done - nothing in between. This wasn't an issue for us because everything is still made to order, they had a great selection of brunch foods and it came out fast. I originally wanted the blueberry pancakes but learned that the "add-ons" are just toppings - they do not mix any of them in before adding to the griddle. So, I opted for the bananas foster pancakes... 10/10 would recommend. The order comes with 3 light and fluffy pancakes and a side of syrup. Flavors are on point. The breakfast sandwich was so bland along with the rock hard tomato that ruined the sandwich first bite. The sandwich didn't have any flavor anyway. The breakfast potatoes had no flavor. Bring your own seasoning. The smoothie for $8 wasn't even blended and it was like drinking pebbles. Smoothies are supposed to have a smooth texture. read more

When we ordered, my friend was asking the name of an item and he made an extremely rude face and gesture at her not thinking anyone would see, but I did. We ordered French toast, we were already eating here, but Emanuel dropped the French toast off very rudely on our table and walked away. We did not want the food to go, it made us feel like we needed to leave. Great brunch experience here! I have two dogs with me so I only go restaurants with outdoor seating and this one has lots outdoor seating with shades. Many restaurants use self ordering software and this too. We just go grab a table and no one's will come to greet us, then we just scan the barcode on the table to order and pay. When the food is ready someone will bring them out and that's the only contact we had with the restaurant people. They have lots vegan dishes and healthy smoothies. We always try to visit local spots while traveling, Daily Jam had a nice menu to appease the entire family so we decided to go. When we say everyone, their outdoor seating allowed us to bring our pup . When we arrived there was no one to seat us and limited instruction on if we were to seat ourselves or have a hostess seat us. The staff were gracious when we asked what we needed to do, nevertheless. The order process required someone go inside and place our order at the register, you are then given a number card and the servers bring your food to you. Easy enough! All the staff were friendly and accommodating. My husband got a heavier meal than I did, as I was saving my appetite for a heavy meal later in the day. I ordered coffee and a parfait, my husband ordered home fries and sausages. I enjoyed my parfait, the fruit was fresh and the yogurt was delicious. I had to make my own coffee, it was ok. My husband enjoyed his breakfast but he said nothing stood out to him as exceptional. The price for our meal was reasonable, at about $30. Daily Jam was busy and buzzing, it seems like a nice place to enjoy a meal and a good conversation. The outdoor seating was nice and busy as well, there were different seating options, such as tables, high stools and bench like seating with umbrellas to block the sun. The menu is pretty elaborate and if in Az in again, I'd try it. The location is on a busy strip of Mill Ave. so the outdoor seating area would also be appropriate for chatting and people watching. read more

Came here with some friends. The food is interesting, I ordered the Chipotle burrito with potatoes. The burrito could use more flavor didn't taste any chipotle flavor, lucky they had some at the self service bar. The potatoes were tasteless too. It was busy, noisy the food came out fast. One person in our party ordered a cinnamon roll it was cold as in a refrigerator, no offer to heat it up. The taste wasn't good and needs to be heated up. Over all not impressed. read more

I am sooo happy I found this place. I was in the Phoenix area (coming up from Tucson) and wanted to grab some brunch with friends last minute. Little did I know this place is an "order then seat yourself" establishment so it wasn't a long wait for my 7 person group, even on a Saturday morning too! All the food was amazing. I got the farmer's market Benedict (would rate 4/5) and the egg was perfect. My friends got the chicken and waffles, hot Juan omelette and loaded omelette. I've only been here twice, the chop salad I got the first time was so incredible, the best I've ever had, that I got the same thing on this visit. It didn't disappoint, amazing! Check out the photo of it I posted. They have a vast menu and everything I've seen on other tables looks incredible as well. Extremely fresh, seemingly locally sourced ingredients make for delicious food! The service here is always very friendly and served with a smile. The location is outstanding, downtown Tempe, Mill Avenue, steps from Tempe town lake and park with lots of activity and businesses, very cool. Prices are relatively reasonable, although I wouldn't call them cheap. You order at the front and find somewhere to sit once you order. They do have outdoor seating. I think they might take reservations but I could be wrong. It can be kinda noisy. The area is nice. This is near a Birkenstocks store which was exciting for me because that same day I got my first pair of Birkenstocks and had wanted a pair for YEARS. Anyways I have been here a couple times. I had the cinnamon roll at one point. My boyfriend had the coffee cake and that was really yummy. The eggs Benedict is really good. I think I got that my first time. I've also had a breakfast sandwhich before I think. Also good. I don't care for the potato's though but I have a bf who was trained by chefs all over sooo it's hard to impress me with potato's.
