Everyone was happy and enjoying conversations but most of all eating their breakfast. Friday morning brunch time and it was still full but things were moving along. Stand and order at the counter... ahh, no pressure if there's line. Then go and find a table for six...yikes. Our breakfasts were on our tables quickly and all at the same time, perfect. From Chicken and Waffles to the Eggs Benedicts and my grandkids pancakes were all taken down quickly with no fuss. We shared a few bites, I refilled my coffee and were out. Smoothly run, large menu, outside space and a clean bathroom is enough for me to try Daily Jam again. Last word... let's go.

3/14/26: It's not often I give such sucky ratings, but in this case, it was warranted. Not much room to move, dry rolls, tough toast, no flavor (for the most part). We popped in this particular Saturday morning while trouncing through the Tempe Festival of the Arts. There was a line (no surprise since it is ASU territory), but the layout of the line meant people brushing by you & getting too close. The guy who took our order was uncheerful & came across as "I don't want to be here; what do you want?" Not the best impression. We placed our order & were lucky enough to find a seat. There is a small patio on their south side; the light rail to their north. The guy who delivered our food was more friendly. The cinnamon roll was so dry, I swear it had been sitting out for a week -- and there was too much cinnamon. My sister's classic eggs benedict was unappetizing; the English muffin, too, was dry. So dry she practically needed a steak knife to cut into it. There's a Proof Bread shop just down the street. How Daily Jam can have such God-awful muffins is beyond me. The potatoes had no seasoning, she had to salt them -- and the salt & pepper shakers needed filling. My croque madame was edible, if simple. In short, there is absolutely no desire to visit Daily Jam again.

We are in Tempe for the Innings Festival - which has been great - but what hasn't been great is the food. Inside the festival you cannot bring in outside food or beverages and the food options are all greasy options that I just cannot get behind - corn dogs of all creative kinds, pizza, even the chicken options are fried and not a salad or green to be found. So, for brunch, we decided to try the daily jam and have a big meal that would hold us for the day ahead. It was fantastic - super duper busy and there was a wait but it's probably the second closest restaurant to the festival so of course it is. I got the croque madam - so delicious. Amazing rustic sourdough, tomatoes, ham, Swiss and a bright mustard sauce. Definitely would get it again. I would just add a side spring mix salad next time, which is something I didn't know I could do then, but I know now! My sister and I shared waffles - they were really good too. Lots of options, food that doesn't make you feel terrible about yourself - done and done! We are going back tomorrow - I may get the exact same thing!

Explored Tempe and came across this restaurant. The food was a little bland but the service was fast. Located in a central spot close to the university. Prices were decent.

Yes this place was a jam! My husband and I walked over from our hotel to grab breakfast. We had plenty of a la carte options like eggs, bacon, ham, as well as a veggie omelette! The hot sauce was great! Service was wonderful and it was a cool, hip and casual breakfast joint!

I've been a fan of this place for a while, but I've always just did delivery from this location. Well, I finally had the opportunity to actually dine in, and it was a very enjoyable experience! The atmosphere is bright and energetic, making it a great spot to start the day. The highlight of my meal was definitely the Chocolate Chip Scone. It was so mouthwatering, perfectly baked and just the right amount of sweetness. It's easily one of my favorite things on the menu now. The service was friendly and the food came out quickly. If you've only ever done carry out here, I definitely recommend taking a seat and enjoying the vibe of the restaurant itself. A solid four stars for a great local breakfast and brunch spot!

The few times I've been here, the food is so good, that's why they're getting 3 stars! The food usually takes a long time to arrive to our table, but the ability to walk up and order from the front is nice. It feels a bit expensive for what it is but it's close to my office and easy to get to. I only really come here because of some nearby work partners, will probably continue to be this way.

Small, cute little restaurant. Right off of the light rail and Mill Ave. They have great breakfast choices. They have a really chil vibe. The wait staff are nice and courteous. We have eaten there several times now and love it. They have a nice patio. The food is a step above the typical restaurant and they have good prices. They have a bar as well which is interesting for a breakfast, brunch place.

Decided to try this place out for breakfast. Located right off Mill Ave. it's super easy to access. There was a nice amount of people inside from dining to those in line to place their order. The line went pretty fast once I was in it. I'm not a waffle lover but I love red velvet treats so I ordered the red velvet waffles with chicken. The waffles came with butter on top, a ramekan of cream cheese icing and another with maple syrup. I preferred the cream cheese icing instead of the syrup. There was also a honey hot sauce on the side fot the crispy fried chicken. I enjoyed that The waffle was thick and good for the most part.

stopped by Daily Jam in Tempe this morning and it was a great little breakfast spot! I ordered a small vanilla latte and a BLT -- both hit the spot. The vanilla latte was smooth, not too sweet, and had a nice balance of espresso and flavor. I appreciated that it wasn't overly sugary like some places tend to make it. The BLT was solid -- crispy bacon, fresh lettuce and tomato, and the bread was toasted just right. Simple, but really satisfying. The staff was friendly and service was quick, even with a bit of a morning rush. Overall, a nice spot for a casual breakfast or brunch if you're in the area. I'll definitely be back to try more of the menu!

The General Manager here is absolutely CRUSHING IT. I was one of the few one-off guests where the experience fell through the cracks. I spoke up about some of the opportunities I experienced- and Mr. Jones was IMMEDIATELY struck with shock. His concern for my experience was so wholesome. This is what it means to care about your restaurant. This Gentleman took care of us with no hesitation. MIND YOU- there are events going on and the restaurant is overflowing with guests!! Surprisingly enough, the service was extremely swift. The opportunities missed were so important to him, he was extremely grateful I pointed the nuances out. Now beyond the way this store is being run as far as CR, the FOOD IS AMAZINGGG OMG. You will not be disappointed here!!! Food comes out so fast yet so fresh and so hot!! We're talking MAYBE 15 minutes after swiping my card!! The smiles on the crew, the laughs behind the bar, the GM table touching with a smile. Do yourself a favor and stop in for the one time- it looks busy but I swear it's so much faster than you'd think!! And worth it even if it is!!!

Walk in dining was fast, order at the cashier and seat yourself! Chipotle egg burrito was delicious with or without the salsa. Ultimate BLT with egg salad was yummy especially with the avocado and egg salad flavors combining.

    Eddies Breakfast Tacos

The breakfast tacos were a spicy and delicious lunch. Service was relatively quick. Well worth $20 for that and a juice.

The waiter and bartender were attentive and knowledgeable. The menu wasn't huge but it was a great variety of options. Table had some salads, flatbreads, burgers and a round of butter cake desserts. Each was really, really good. Way more sophisticated plates than expected. Also had a bunch of craft cocktails, unique and well made. Sometimes the best experiences are unplanned. I got the bang bang shrimp and it was good (6/10). The problem that I have is the pistachio gin fizz was an absolute no! I am a HUGE fan of pistachio and gin so immediately I had to get his drink but it was beyond mediocre. Are we drinking only syrup??? My last complaint is the coconut tres leches dessert.... Do we actually know how to make tres leches or we just naming desserts however we want? Just curious. It came out super hot, steaming more like a molten cake. As a Hispanic woman, I was expecting a creamy moist cake to celebrate my graduation but this was not it as well. Last but not least if the bald manager with the orange shirt wants to eat in the back of the kitchen, not the problem I get it (I work at restaurants) HOWEVER shoving your two index fingers into your mouth to get your debris out was my last straw. Like I said I like this restaurant and never had problems but today felt like a fever dream there.

While the ambience is fairly simple, the overall experience is a positive one, especially once the food arrives. I ordered the lox and bagel and was impressed by how substantial the portion was. The lox was generously layered, with a large amount of arugula on top. The arugula appeared to be lightly dressed with olive oil, which added great flavor. While it did not fully align with my personal dietary preferences, it was well executed, and I would be happy to return to see if it can be adjusted. The dirty chai was another highlight in terms of flavor. It was well spiced and not overly sweet, which I appreciated. Although it was described as very hot when delivered, it arrived closer to lukewarm, but the taste itself was enjoyable. Service was efficient and attentive. The check was dropped off relatively early, which initially felt a bit quick, but our server continued to check in on us throughout the meal, creating a balanced and courteous experience. The fresh squeezed orange juice was excellent, and everything we ordered was well prepared. Parking in the area can be challenging, though the nearby parking structure behind Pedalhaus makes it more manageable. To be fair, it was busy, but there also seemed to be plenty of wait staff, so I'm not exactly sure where the disconnect was. Food-wise: the spinach artichoke dip was definitely the table favorite. One poor new waiter dropped a plate on the floor, then later knocked glasses off the rack above the bar & shattered a couple right next to guests sitting there. I genuinely felt bad for him because you could tell he was having a rough shift. That said, I really appreciated that they acknowledged the long wait & gave us a discount without us having to ask. They serve salads, bowls, sandwiches, all-day breakfast, protein shakes, fresh juices, and other healthy, fast-casual eats for dine-in or take-away. My kind of place! This is one of those spots that I'd frequent if I lived nearby (ChopShop, want to open in Northern California?!). I stumbled upon this spot after a little self-guided tour of ASU campus on a sleepy Sunday morning (everyone must have been asleep after the big football game the day before). I'd forgotten about this spot and it was such a happy surprise to find it again and to see that they survived the pandemic and are still thriving. First visit I ordered: -Cheat Day Wrap: scrambled egg, bacon, white cheddar, smashed avocado, tomato, brown rice (I ordered without rice), and turkey or ham (I skipped these too) *DELISH on a whole wheat wrap!!! Full of flavor and super easy to eat. This hearty breakfast sando fueled my active morning of hiking "A" Mountain (Hayden Butte Preserve) the running around the the IronMan course to spectate (30,000+ steps as a spectator!). We couldn't leave town without another trip. I took my guy and we enjoyed a salad, another breakfast wrap, and: -Chicken + Prosciutto Sandwich: grilled chicken, prosciutto, fontina, arugula, fig mostarda, dijon (no dijon for us), on a house bun. If you're in the area, looking for a healthy-ish breakfast, lunch, or snack, definitely check out Original ChopShop. Note: it gets busy at peak meal hours with students and faculty. But my first experience was not that great. They had plenty of places to sit, whether you like to sit indoors or outdoors. I decided to try the "Glow Up Shake," which is their protein shake. The shake was okay; it didn't blow me away. Considering that it has banana, pineapple, dates, etc., I was hoping it would melt in my mouth with a galaxy of flavor--darn, no such luck. But like I said, it was an okay drink that I think others might like. Now, as for the $3 pre-wrapped Triple Chocolate Chip Cookie? The first cookie they brought me was hard as a diamond. I asked if they could heat it up to soften it a bit like they do at Starbucks, but he said they can't? Wow, I didn't realize that heating a Triple Chocolate Chip Cookie was so complex that it can't be done by some places. Anyway, the minor good news was he brought me a different cookie that was soft enough to bend and break off a piece and chew without worrying about breaking a tooth. But the big question is, will I be back? Of course I will; the place has a plethora of healthy food which I like. And I'm sure when I order something other than a diamond-hard Triple Chocolate Chip Cookie, my experience will be somewhat better. This place does have a fantastic Wi-Fi. That's a plus.
