They replied that they weren't happy with the company they used and that they had wished they had used HSP. We asked HSP to provide us with a bid. All three bids we received were comparable in price and materials used, and all had favorable reviews. We went with HSP because the project manager Michael really seemed to care about the job. We are very glad that we did. After working with HSP there were two things that set this company apart IMO. The first was the quality of the work that Rigo and Miguel did. It was impeccable, they did so much prep work prior to actually painting that at the end of the job my wife and I noticed one brushstroke on our exterior ceiling fan. That's it! The neighbor I referenced earlier made the comment " If our painters had done half as much prep work as yours did we wouldn't have had the issues that we did." The second was what the company did when there was a "hiccup", and there are ALWAYS little things with jobs like this. Whether it's the weather, paint color not what you expected, etc... Whenever there was a "hiccup" Michael was three things, communicative about it and proactive in getting it resolved quickly. We also had the pleasure of speaking with the owner PJ and found that he had the same positive qualities. In closing, HSP provides a quality job at a fair price and they make it right if there is an issue. At the end of the day that's all you can ask for in a contractor and why we can recommend this company without reservation.

My wife and I contracted Timberline Painting & Outdoor Living to construct a 20' x 20' covered…read morepatio, with concrete slab extension, for our backyard. Tim (owner) was excellent to deal with during the bidding process. Prior to locking a contract with Tim, we received quotes from four other companies, and Timberline provided the most complete overview of the job, expectations, and timelines. The attention to detail during this initial phase of the process left us with peace of mind and also allowed us to consider additional design details we were not immediately aware of. Once construction started, Timberline was extremely punctual and kept a very clean job site. Timberline's carpenters, painters, masons, and electrician are outstanding. We desired a very "clean" look to our outdoor living space, and Timberline guaranteed they would hide all wiring and even corrected some legacy aesthetic issues we had with the original wiring and siding. We are thrilled with how the new patio looks. The gabled roof with tongue and groove cedar ceiling is exactly the design my wife envisioned. She is very pleased with the craftsmanship. Timberline also worked with us to install a stone bar with limestone counter. The bar was measured to specification, in order to fit an outdoor refrigerator and incoming outdoor kitchen alongside it. Timberline matched the stone (Chocolate Oklahoma) with our pool to tie the backyard together and make both projects look as if they were planned out from day one. In addition, we also had Timberline's electrician install 6 recessed Philips Hue lights, a Philips Hue wall sconce, a 55" LG TV, two ceiling fans and place electric outlets for Sonos One speakers. The lights, TV and Sonos speakers are Amazon Alexa voice enabled, which allows us to create a lovely voice controlled outdoor space. At present we are only waiting on installation of our outdoor kitchen and Kool Cote, neither of which are the responsibility of Timberline, to consider the Patio complete. I've attached a few photos of the work Timberline did and will add more once the final items are put in place.

Tim has a great understanding of the outdoor patio aesthetic and also how it should function. His carpenters were absolutely great and knocked out the project on time and with clear attention to detail. During the project Tim recommended we use Super Solar screens for the patio which would reduce heat during summer and also allow for maximum privacy for our screened patio. Rise has full liability and worker's compensation coverage as well as the required bond. There been no action against the CCB license. I would definitely recommend Rise to anyone looking for a contractor to perform painting or wood refinishing work. Cheyney is the only one of three contractors who returned my call, which he did within 10 minutes. He is the ONLY contractor whom I could locate in Deschutes County who is willing to take on this type of project. The door looks better than when it was new!
