    I'm just disappointed in the customer service given today to my husband. He went in specifically…read morefor Anthuriums for some visitors. The flowers are VAGUELY marked for pricing. When he asked which was which price he was told the ones he bought would be in the $4 size. They charge by the inch for these. Flowers aren't marked as to what color they are nor sizes. When he asked if they would be alright in the car the saleswoman said they'd be okay but when they wrapped them she'd add a wet paper towel to the stems. He went to the register and asked for this to be done to be told NO they don't do that but he could buy a water tube for each flower he's buying for .25 cents each. My husband said no that's okay. Husband was buying a vase and the man said he could give him some water in the vase. So now my flowers are $5 each, unwrapped in a vase to be transported home. The one flower ended up split somehow? Edit *The man flattened the flower to measure it and suspect this is where it split. Some sales people just seem to not be interested in you unless you're making a big purchase. . I know this may feel a bit harsh for this ONE flower But I've had this experience with them before and just tired of the attitude some salespeople give off. He was so easy going and he seemed to understand exactly what we were looking for. We communicated well through emails, which I really appreciated! He was always very attentive to all my questions/changes so I could get a lot done through email, and never really had to call for anything. The day of the wedding, everything was exactly what I pictured. I was so happy with the quality of the bouquets, leis, boutonnieres, centerpieces and large arrangements. It's so important to get along with your vendors and it truly felt like The Floral Boutique wanted to help us and make our wedding exactly how we pictured. We appreciated their positive attitudes and feedback in all their communication. Would definitely recommend them to any brides out there, and hope to use them again for any future events =)

But from there, I didn't make his job easy. I toyed with my flower budget countless times, added this, took away that.....and finally (with a very heavy heart) decided that I needed to cut into it. Chad was quick to answer all my emails and would give me his opinion for the countless bouquet photos that I'd send over. He truly cut every corner that he could for me in order to make the flowers I had imagined fit into the meager budget that I had given him to work with. On wedding morning, I teared up when my flowers arrived at the hotel. My bouquet was stunning. It was everything I'd hoped it would be and more. My bridesmaid bouquets complemented their dresses perfectly, and the honey bear vases with mini daisies and greenery truly made my centerpieces come together. The Floral Boutique really came through. Thank you, Twinsie "Auntie" Nadine C., for showing me love and introducing me to tuberose. I am a HUGE fan of tuberose now! I was thoughtfully blessed with some leis here and wow do I feel loved! Gorgeous, fragrant, and they lasted the whole trip with a light spritz of water in a bag and popped into the refrigerator. I even got to check the place out while we were leaving Chinatown. It's a cozy shop and you can tell they are very much well loved. What else can be said? Come here and get all your leis here. Nothing like getting lei'd by Cindy. This place is a daffodil-ight!

My father brought a huge corporate account to Cindys, which they made A LOT of money from. He had a personal relationship with the owners, which kept us loyal for decades. After my father passed, the company cut tie with Cindy's. I was devastated and didn't understand why. Cindy's always gave us the best service. Recently I found out why relations were cut. Cindy's has really changed and no longer provides the great customer service they once did. I placed a very important order for an event on the mainland to be shipped out and arrive a day before the event. I placed the order over a month in advance and was promised it would be just fine and well taken care of. Well, when the week of the event came, I called every day, multiple times a day, just to confirm everything. They won't answer their phones. I sent emails and messages through their website. Those also went unanswered. I even went to the store in person before work at 6am, nut it wasn't open yet. I had no way of getting in touch with them and wondered if they had shut down. I had to go on the faith that they have always provided us stellar service in the past. I was so wrong. Cindy's completely forgot to send my order at all, and left me without anything, the day before the event. The amount of stress I went through trying to find a florist on the mainland to provide lei was insane. Cindy's finally answered my many messages the day before. They said they could try to overnight my order that they forgot, but there were no promises it would get there on time, since the event was on a Saturday. I still have not been sent a receipt from them, which I asked for multiple times, or confirmation of the mailing. The lei did go, and my credit card got a huge charge, but without the receipt, I don't even know what I paid them for. And really, after all they put us through, they should have comped the order. My dad would be rolling in his grave to know how far downhill the company that he loved to support has gone. As for me, I will be taking my business elsewhere. I do truly hope they can get it together and grow back into the great company they once were.
