After seeing BFCrafts Instagram posts and Lei-go leis made from colorful flower beads, I wanted to…read moretry out this new item. I headed down to this BFCraft store and found the beads! A wide selection of colors, however, a few of the popular colors and flowers were out of stock. The beads are light weight, flexible, and the stems may be easily cut shorter. I was happily surprised that it did not feel rough or abrasive against material or the human skin. Great for simple DIY craft projects. My first project was to create a forever lei bag charm. The flower beads are reasonably priced and affordable for crafting projects. Service was okay lol. The cashier could have shown a little more interest. No smile or thank you for coming today. Maybe it was an off day for her. Other employees were nice and helpful in finding the beads. Overall a 4.5 star experience. Rounded up to 5 stars.

Where's the die cut machine…read more.. Coming from the west side I thought that stopping here at the Pearl City Shopping Center lower level near Daiso would be perfect as I needed to use their die cut machine for a graduation party decor as it was late in the day with lots of errands after work I was pressed for time as I searched around this shop which is quite large but have so many branches of aisles it was a maze just searching around like a lost mouse roaming around. Though I didn't find the die cut machine I did see something new and super cute a large selection of patches all small and about an 1" in size along with various little key fob and little coin purse to personalize and at $1 each patch you know it stopped me in my busy tracks and totally got me thinking of some projects...omg! I'm not used to the layout of this location and because of that I usually don't come here but with fun items like patches and the trend of mini totes it may sway me in Pearl City for some ideas lol, staff was just there smiled but didn't really acknowledge me which was fine as I was in a hurry and left with more ideas than I needed. Thank you!

Uniquely Kawaii…read more.. That's what CAS Crafts & Collectibles is, located in Pearlridge Center this little kiosk cart is filled to the brim top to bottom with all thinks kawaii not just stationaries and accessories but plushies and decor. Pearlridge Center is filled with many places anime and Kpop though here they just seem to find items that aren't found anywhere else and at such great prices what a find to see items that are so special and makes my gift giving a breeze! What a find including some Line Friends items which is just the most difficult ones to find and they have it here yay!! My bestie have apparently discovered this place which I have known for quite some time but haven't had the chance to write a review but they certainly deserve the five stars for the selection and friendly staff who points out the matching item to pair with whatever direction I'm going and that's a ten star team! Thank you!

Super cute merchandise at a kiosk in Aiea, O'ahu, Hawaii…read more.. Strolling through Pearlridge Mall, I didn't expect to see Brown and Cony, but there they were... As angels together! How can I resist? Located between TJ Maxx and Macy's, this section of Pearlridge used to be called Downtown, but now, it's Wai Makai. I wasn't going to buy anything... Really... We had just finished breakfast and had time before lunch... CAS Crafts & Collectables has so many cute items - pens, stationary, keychains, plushies, etc. I actually found Brown and Choco pillows from Line Friends (the Korean version of Sanrio). I had to get the Brown plushie for my friend's birthday next month! She'll luv it!!! I don't want to show her the Brown and Cony angel plushies... There was only one... and it was priced lower than an online store (plus - avoid paying shipping)!!! It's also better to get items from this kiosk - rather than going to Korea to buy them! Haha! Come take a look! There are unique things here! ... and service was very friendly and helpful!

If only want service it'll be a bit hard but if one goes to the office supplies room there's someone there to help . The customers service personnel knows how to properly handle their clients questions it'll help us. Yes we know it's a warehouse type setting but it'll also be nice to have staff asking us if we need help instead of jumping into me like I'm going to shop lift! Hey I was a store detective I know your staff intentions! Why in the huge warehouse I picked one pen and a set of pens for my work is not right when a staff came into where I stood? I am an artist therefore I check what type of inventory your store has one might have so I take my time looking into! I doubt it I'll go back again anytime soon! Whomever read this take caution clientele (we) are there to shop!

The talent and aloha of these two icon oozes out when you go and visit their shop on Kapahulu Avenue. I was first introduced to feather lei making when I used to dance hula for Na Lei Hulu I Ka Weiku. When my kumu (dance teacher) asked us to make a lei hulu (feather lei) for a dance performance, I was super dissapointed because I knew it was going to be a LOT of work. But WOW - that was perhaps one of the best things that I have ever done in my history of dancing hula. Since my first feather lei making experience, I have visited Aunty Paulette & Aunty Mary Lou almost every time I go back home to Honolulu. I always learn something new, and both are always willing to share their no'eau (knowledge) with me. I just wish one day I could have a small percentage of their talents. They are not only knowledgeable on making lei hulu, but they know a LOT about Hawaiian history, the protocol for Hawaiian culture, and people who have influenced the development of the Hawaiian culture. The store is a nice and cozy little store. The store offers very reasonable and very unique feathers to make leis. Feathers from the goose, to the rooster, to the peacock, to peasant, etc are all in the store ready for your selection. Prices are very reasonable, and Aunty is always willing to give you a quick tip or hint if you ask. There are several ready-made lei hulu for sale in a display case - made by the aunties and their haumana (students). My favorite thing in the store is the royalty cape made purely of yellow and red feathers. It's one of Aunty Mary Lou's most famous masterpieces! Aunty Paulette & Aunty Mary Lou - mahalo nui loa no kou no'eau. Nunui ka hau'oli au no kou makana mai ia'u. Malamalama.
