I dabble in Photoshop so I made a little something that incorporated my boyfriend's favorite tagline & the next thing to do was to get it printed. I Yelped around compiling phone numbers from various shirt printing businesses around my area, quickly browsed their websites for pricing information & saw minimum order requirements. I only needed two shirts. I stumbled upon 808 Create's Yelp reviews mentioning single prints & immediately settled on this place based solely on that rather than calling my list of numbers. I spoke with Miles who gave me a quick estimate of what I wanted & directed me to email him my design, quantity, shirt sizes & color for a price quote. After confirmation, I was sent an invoice & paid online before shirts could be printed. Communication was primarily through email & Miles was informative about the shirt printing process. He told me the brand of shirts used & the printing technique. The design was digitally printed & CAD-cut rather than screen printed. I didn't need a rush order so from the first contact it took a little over a week until the shirts were ready & we arranged a meeting place close to my area for delivery. I had bought shirts online with a design already printed on the front and wanted to add a couple custom words to the back. Miles emailed me a simple font website to choose what I wanted and asked what colors I wanted. I wanted a two-toned font added to the back (brown with white outline). He wasn't sure if he could do the two colors, so we settled on white font. I messaged Miles on Thursday (Dec 22), dropped my shirts off to him around 5pm on Friday (Dec 23), and received my shirts by 4:30pm on Saturday (Dec 24)... WITH THE TWO TONED COLOR FONT. Amazing! I haven't written a review in months but after working with this guy I couldn't resist! On a frantic Friday morning I found myself scrambling around calling local tshirt printing businesses in urgent need of 4 shirts with my logo on it for a event the following day. Making these calls I expected to pay an arm and a leg when asking for an estimate which of course to my expectation proved to be true. Unfortunately besides the ridiculous cost at all these other places no one seemed to be interested in my order considering the small amount and most places having a minimum of 30 or more. I was totally satisfied with doing business with 808 Create. My request for 16 T-shirts within one week turned out great. I sent Miles a photo of what I wanted on front of shirt. Within a few days he sent a photo of what it would look like. I emailed him back to do a bit of 'tweaking' on the photo. Miles sent the revision the next day. Okay - 808 Create is the real deal! Miles and his team are by far the "go to" tee shirt printers on the island. Here's the deal.... I called the phone number and left a message- Miles called me right back- I explained my situation- he asked to have my print which was obtained as an Iron-On- emailed to him.....he suggested a better alternative and agreed to do the job at an fantastic price. I picked up the shirts on my own - met him at the Kam Shopping Center - gave him the shirts I needed to be printed- the next day before noon he calls and says the job is done!!
