"The practical, the memorable- Tee By You" In Hawaii, everything is about t shirts. Long before face masks came onto the scene, t shirts were a great way to express ones thoughts, positions, and memories. Then March 2020 hit us with the pandemic and we in Hawaii, like everyone else in the world, had to deal with the reality of lockdowns and a restricted way of life. Two thoughts emerged in the minds of many, how can I remember this memorable year, and can something be created that is fun and useful. Enter: "Tee for You". A small mom n pop custom t shirt operation located in the Ohana Hale Marketplace on Ward ave (The old Sports Authority), they are located on the first row on the right along the wall as you enter the main entrance for the marketplace. The owner, Eddie is a great guy that will help you give birth to a great t shirt whether it be for work, play, reunion, memorable event, etc. The only limit is your imagination. You are the architect of design, Eddie is the engineer to make it come to life. So during this pandemic one of the things I did was to help deliver donated face shields to health and educational entities through the Hawaii Lions Club. I had an idea for a t shirt that would be a memento for 2020 and also a humorous and practical way of identifying myself when deliveries were made. I consulted with Eddie, he helped to develop the layout, I picked the color and type of shirt to use, he was able to produce my one shot shirt in a few hours. Now that's service! With a wide range of shirts and materials to use to bring your idea to reality, Eddie helped me create a something practical and humorous to remember the trying times of 2020. Needed a couple of shirts made and Tee By You was suggested to me. Conveniently located in the former Sports Authority, just to the right of the main entrance. Parking there can be tight especially since the entire left side is reserved. Eddie and woman (wife?) were pretty helpful when I got there. Placed my order and paid. Was told it would be definitely ready before the date I needed (by Friday for a Saturday morning event) and I would get a text when it was ready. Thursday came and I didn't hear anything back so I called and left a message. Friday morning and still no word so I sent an email. Was emailed back at 11am that my order was ready but they would be closing early at 2pm that day. Little annoyed that so little notice was given. Print quality was good and I was able to slip out of work so it worked out in the end. read more

Super cool shop in Ohana Hale Marketplace. Located off ward where the old sports authority used to be the shop is located on the side near the entrance by Ba-Le sandwich The owner Eddie and his wife are super super nice. Eddie has been making shirts for a long time and opened this shop a few months ago. You can make any design you want and eddie will print it out. They have a wide variety of colors and Eddie can pull any design off the web. My kids just found what they wanted and texted to him. Turnaround is about a day so pretty quick. Since he's been doing this for a while Eddie and his wife are great at doin small tweaks (logo size, location, et) to make sure your shirt looks good. They were able to get our shirts done while we hung out at the marketplace.. they had all the sizes and styles available as well. They are super friendly and have great quality workmanship.
