It's simple--either train your staff to interact respectfully and professionally with customers, or if they lack the people skills, consider placing them in roles behind the scenes where they can still contribute without impacting the customer experience. The pancake is also advertised and priced as an upgrade from a regular pancake order, when in reality, it is just 3 pancakes with one strawberry.
