Stopped by for the first time a couple of days ago. Ordered the brown sugar boba. 1. Their boba was delicious and really soft. 2. Brown sugar drink was good however I needed to ask for extra brown sugar because ordering it regular basically tasted like milk only. 3. The drink had cheese foam on the top which was really good 4.Establishment seems very new and it appeared they were still training. The biggest takeaway is that the brown sugar boba with extra brown sugar was delicious. I'm happy that there is another boba spot which is next to my wife's 2nd favorite store GTM lol. First off, the interior decor is very modern and hip - very IG friendly (that's a must nowadays). It's not a huge space, but enough seats for more of a normal day vs an opening day. It was a bit warm inside.. I would recommend the owner to crank up the AC.. it is Santee, you'll need to turn that on stronger. Anywho, first impression is that this establishment is cute. I ordered the roasted brown sugar matcha milk tea and it was super good - 9 out of 10! The boba was really good, texture was perfect. The milk tea was a nice and creamy - it didn't taste overly sweet. Only thing that was a "meh" was really the wait. After speaking with the owners about my concerns I have given them two more tries. They were nice and told me how they mitigated some of the issues I encountered. Over my next two visits I encountered time issues but it had been a more pleasant experience. It would of been three times but they weren't open yet on my way out of town when I was craving some as they open more for the lunch rush. I hope they continue to improve. On the encouraging of one of the owners I tried the latte roasted brown sugar with an extra shot. While it tasted great, it was weak as far as coffee taste and caffeine feel. So if you want a light flavored caffeinated drink the latte is it, if you are needing a stronger caffeinated drink this isn't the drink for you. I decided to give this place a try. I found the place relatively nice inside. It had some space to sit and not too cluttered. It is relatively cool inside. The service I felt was a bit on the slower end. They did take a while to make my drink with only one person ahead of me with one drink. The people mixing my drink took their time with measuring and were moving a bit slow. I figured with all the precise measurements, the drink would taste good. That being said, I am not a fan of the drink. I got a peach jasmine and honestly did not taste the peach even with constant mixing. It had one thin slice of peach at the bottom. It tasted very bland at 100 percent sweetness. Light ice is still a lot of ice. I got a regular, which I felt was actually smaller than most boba places. I think it was a bonus that the container was really cute too. I got my grandma the avocado smoothie, 70% sweetness and with boba. That was really good! It was just the right amount of sweetness and I personally think its hard to nail an avocado flavor but I think they got it! The customer service was GREAT! They were super sweet and friendly! Let me just say, the service here is excellent. The Bo-ristas behind the counter are always so helpful and kind, you can tell they care about the quality they put out and the service they provide.
