Stopped by Daboba in late December 2025 and really liked it. I got the Roasted Brown Sugar Pearl Fresh Milk with brown sugar pearls, and it was really good - just hit the spot. The staff was nice, and the place has a chill vibe with plenty of seating to hang out and enjoy your drinks. Everything looked clean and well kept, even the restrooms. Prices were pretty good too, starting around $5 for medium and up depending on what you order. They also have a good variety of fruit teas, smoothies, and yogurts if you want something different. I'd come back again and would recommend if you're in the area.
I find Da Boba to be one of the franchises where they are consistent where ever we go. I always get the same drink, roasted brown sugar fresh milk no boba. They truly do the best brown sugar drinks. The edge of the cup is drizzled with a caramelized brown sugar. I don't mess with the sweetness level and it comes out perfect each time. We also got kumquat lemon seasonal tea and this drink was citrusy refreshing. It's located in the same plaza as GTM, a few doors down. This lot gets busy and hard to find parking. Especially on Tuesdays when GTM offers senior discounts.
It's just waaaaaaayyyyy to good! The consistency of the drinks are above many boba places I go to where they can be hit and miss! Forever a customer to DaBoba Santee!
Was in Santee and needed to run a couple of errands, but I wanted to grab a drink as I go. DABOBA is right off of Carlton Hills blvd and easy to find. Small store, but inviting, as you walk in immediately caught my eye was a giant panda sitting in the corner. I was able to order my drink quickly, as there were several staff working hard making drinks in the background. I ordered a large Thai milk tea, no boba. There were a few people already waiting for drinks ahead of me, but it didn't take long for my drink to be called. Snapped a pic and off I went. At first sip the Thai tea was strong and a bit overwhelming. Few more sips and off to the next stop, it started to mellow out... and then I noticed it gone. One of my stacked eternity rings was missing and no longer on my finger. Quickly in a panic I pull over and start searching my car... nothing. I head back to the parking lot of DABOBA, and nothing. I went into the store and starting looking around the floor...still nothing. Hopeless in finding it, my heart just broken, I went to the counter and asked the girl who just greeted me. She had no clue of what I was talking about and then looked down near the register and was like wait, is this it?!? OMG, YES!!! Beyond overjoyed that this darn ring that had managed to slip off my finger a few times this year has found its way back to me again! Back to the tea... they offer two sizes which is nice if you didn't want a large drink. The large drinks costs a dollar more. I would like if they had two different size straws for the non boba drinks, so they only have boba sized straws, so it's wider. I ended up with an orange stain on my cream colored shirt. :( But in the end, they saved the day! Staff was friendly and in this scenario, super helpful! I'm glad to see people who are genuinely good hearted people who turned in my ring and staff who kept it for me. I don't know how I can say a million times, Thank you!!! 2025: 31
Came here after dinner with my partner, she's been before, but it was my first time. I went with the Taro Milk Tea Smoothie. It had that distinct taro flavor, and the brown sugar boba was flavorful. The shop itself is super clean with a calming vibe and plenty of greenery, which adds a nice touch. If I'm in the area again, I'll definitely be back to try something new, maybe their Thai tea or something from the brown sugar series.
The service was really friendly and super quick. Decent prices for bubble tea! I loved that it wasn't too sweet at all. I wish there was an option to get lychee jelly but the popping pearls were still a good addition to the tea. I would come back for more!
Stopped by here after running a few errands on a hot day. When you walk in, you can't go in without noticing the hanging plants. Such a cute quaint spot. The menu is pretty vast and they have a few options of game boards that you can choose from. Few seating options. Service was fairly quick. And just an FYI, their Vietnamese Coffee is STRONG.
The Roasted Brown Sugar Pearl Milk at Daboba is next level. Perfectly chewy pearls, rich brown sugar flavor, and not overly sweet. Super satisfying and definitely a new favorite!
The menu was easy to read people friendly customer service was good. I'm sure the food was good, but I wasn't there to grab food instead. I just got a strawberry smoothie Boba, which is delicious and will go back again.
Hands down, my favorite boba place in all of San Diego. Their boba is consistently fresh and always the perfect consistency. I mainly order from the brown sugar series (usually the latte or the matcha) and it's perfect even without mods. Someone ALWAYS greets you at the door, they're friendly and patient. The shop is clean, tidy and usually not too busy in the evening. I've loved watching the green plants grow through the year! The parking lot also hosts amazing sunsets, making it a cute, affordable date night option!
Love the ambiance here! Clean, bright, and the plants are so beautiful. Boba tastes fresh and quality of drinks are top notch. I like the milk tea and my son raves about the Shooting Stars drink and adds popping boba.
I finally had a chance to try DABOBA Santee location after seeing so many posts about this place on social media. I'm a fan of boba tea drinks. I had my first boba tea in Montreal, Canada a few years ago and hadn't been able to find another good location like it until DABOBA. I ordered the,"Roasted Brown Sugar Pearl Milk Tea," seems to be the most popular one and it was so delicious!! This drink was so good my hubby drank half of mine and he's not even a fan of boba drinks!!lol There are several DABOBA locations in Santee, Mira Mesa, Rancho Bernardo and Kearny Mesa. The Santee location was very clean and decorated nicely with plants everywhere. It's such a cute hangout to meet your bestie and catch up. I loved the Bear theme so much!! The business is in a plaza easy to find parking. The employees were very nice and friendly. I'm looking forward to driving 25 minutes to get this drink again and try others!! Give them a try! We're looking for a place to do a milk tea bar/station for a private event and decided to try daboba. The location is very cute inside, but I think they could use a good clean. We walked in and the crew continued their conversation and didn't ask if we had any questions or anything. After we ordered our drink, we asked about catering and the girl working wasn't sure and, to be honest, I don't think the guy working was sure either. We asked if they do full catering by the jug and he said "yea if you want like a massive container we could do that.." then later said, "so you'd have to bring your own massive container for tea........ and smaller containers for toppings........ and I don't think we'll have enough cups so you'd have to bring your own cups, but we'll have the straws." Uhhhhhh what? So you don't do catering?? It sounds like the guy was thinking they'd just make their pitcher and pour it into our own containers. Also! He kept trying to tell us what day we should do our event based on the staff that would be there to make our drinks. As for the actual tea flavor itself, it was just ok, but the cup seemed rather small for the price. Maybe try somewhere else. read more

I love a good Brown Sugar Milk Tea and these make an amazing one. I had the Brown Sugar Pearl Fresh Milk with black tea and it was fantastic. There was no holding back on the brown sugar on this milk tea. It was delicious. They offer a great variety and creative classic Milk Teas. In addition, they offer fruit teas, and yogurt series. They staff members at this Santee location were super nice and helpful. I like that they brûléed the top of my milk tea. This shop offers a good amount of inside comfortable seating . read more

Coolest new spot! I love boba, so I was stoked to see a brand new boba place opening right by my house. Beautiful interior inside with lots of seating to enjoy your boba. Nice extensive menu with a lot of options as well. I got my favorite Taro boba with extra boba and added cheese cream. The staff was friendly and helpful too. Paid by card. Daboba is in the same plaza as Mary's Donuts and GTM and offers a lot of plaza parking. I went here on a Saturday afternoon and there was a line out the door. The line went quickly but it took a while to get the drinks. Average customer service but cute decorations in the place. I ordered the kumquat lemon, 0 sugar, with boba and enjoyed the drink. The cup lids were so cute! I was able to drink the drink with my party of 5 in the back. I would recommend this place and would go back. I would hope they can make the drinks faster next time. read more

It was giving earthy vibes We ordered the following: * **Wintermelon mt w/ boba (LEFT): -----$5.75 5 STARS So good!! This, in my opinion, was the best drink. Other boba shops don't have wintermelon that is as tasty or rich as this one. KFT is the only location that could be compared for this beverage. *** Coco Frappe w/cheese foam (MID): -----$6.75 1 STAR It had a slightly watery, bitter, and non creamy flavor. The coco overpowered the cheese foam. I wouldn't recommend it. * **Green mt w/boba (RIGHT): -----$5.75 5 STARS This is a classic drink. Crafted well :) * **Thai tea : -----$5.75 5 STARS Very nice! I've been here a few times now and this will definitely become a regular spot for me! My daughter loves boba, and this place makes delicious boba tea and other drinks. They also have a lot of cool extra toppings you can add which makes this place different from the other boba shops I've been to. So far we've tried the green milk tea with honey boba, and green milk tea with the black boba, Oreo, and creme brûlée toppings. Both were great! The creme brûlée was very sweet! I look forward to trying other drinks on the menu. A note on the ambiance, it's very nice and relaxing. There are some cute mini couches to sit on and some tables with chairs. Not a lot of seating, but when I was there the place was pretty empty so it wasn't a problem. I wonder if it gets crowded there, as it seems like a place to just run in and out. But it's so nice there I like to stay and hang out. :) Definitely recommend checking this place out! read more
I'm thrilled but also bummed that Daboba opened in Santee. I think they have the best boba pearls in SD county so I love that I have access to this location within 15 minutes from my place. However, I became quite addicted to their roasted Pearl milk tea boba at the Kearny Mesa location after they opened that I need to pace myself. I saw Jay, another Yelp Elite, recommend their Purple Rice Yogurt drink so I had to try it for myself. My husband normally doesn't like boba drinks but said he would even order the Purple Rice Yogurt drink. Score! It was tangy, very thick and had a really nice chew from the rice. It was also very filling but I liked the change of pace and now have another drink I can order during my frequent weekly visits. read more

Daboba in Santee, CA Daboba has entered the chat I'm clearly late on this since there are several locations open throughout San Diego county (Kearny Mesa, Mira Mesa, Rancho Bernardo and Santee). This is a popular bubble tea franchise that originated from Malaysia. I find this very similar to The Alley and they had a great variety of drinks to try! Santee is kind of out of my way but I was in already in east county, craving boba and found this place on Yelp. I ended up ordering the mango frappe as it seemed to be pretty popular. This was sooo good! Not overly sweet and the yogurt on top was such a great creamy addition to the blended mango. I also loved the cute jar it came in! Service was very quick and the girl at the counter was friendly and helped me in picking something to order. Might not drive out of my way to get to this place but I'll definitely consider swinging by if I'm around! read more

The gentleman who took our order was super friendly and helpful in deciding what we wanted to drink. I ordered the mango with yogurt and it was delicious. It's very small inside but decorated very cute. A few small tables to sit at or a few small love seats to sit at. I'm shocked! I have not found a single boba spot that is as good as Kung Fu Tea, until now!! I stopped by Daboba Santee location and met up with my friend after work because we were both craving boba. We decided to give this place a try and I'm glad we did. When we entered the store we were immediately greeted by two friendly ladies that were working behind the counter. There was nobody there accept for us so we had time to talk with the cashier. She was super sweet and went over the menu with us, the toppings they offered, and made a few suggestions based on what we told her we liked from Kung Fu Tea. They have a rewards program and after 10 drinks you get 1 free! Our drinks were ready really quickly and the best part was it came in a cup with the most adorable bear lid! I wanted to scream because it was just so cute! After the first sip, I was in love. When combined with the smooth and creamy mouthfeel of milk, winter melon milk tea creates an explosion of taste on your palate, so irresistible that this beverage is practically intoxicating. The boba in all of its smoky, caramelized, and chewy wonderfulness is the perfect addition to the drink making it even better. They have an aesthetically pleasing lounge area that is picturesque. It is the cutest spot to come hangout with friends, date spot, or somewhere to study! I will definitely be a regular here! read more
