Buyer Beware I…read morepurchased a Dimension One spa from this location after being assured by the salesperson that it met my top priorities: reliability, strong customer service, and low maintenance. I made it very clear during the sales process that these were non-negotiable for me. In fact, I was already prepared to purchase a Bullfrog spa from another dealer but decided to stop here before making my final decision. HUGE MISTAKE!!!!  Unfortunately, I now know the salesperson misrepresented key facts in order to close the sale. After working with the service department six times over the past year, it has become clear that Dimension One has severe reliability issues (and has for a long time) and is no longer a viable brand. I've since learned the company is bankrupt and widely regarded as one of the worst options in the industry for the very criteria I emphasized during my purchase, and was known by the salesman.  I have owned this spa for over a year, and for the last six months it has not functioned properly at all. This is not a reflection of the service department, who have been professional and responsive. The issue is that I was sold a defunct product by a salesperson who knew the true condition of the brand. I regret trusting the information I was given and feel misled or defrauded into purchasing a product that does not align with what was promised. I strongly encourage potential buyers to do extensive research and proceed with caution before purchasing from this business.

When our spa cover, which we'd purchased new along with the spa, needed replacement after being damaged in a hailstorm, we ordered a replacement cover, but the salesman wrote incorrect instructions on the order form, resulting in a cover that didn't fit our spa. My wife spoke with the manager Chris, who said he would speak with the manufacturer and look for solutions. When we hadn't heard back from A-Tex for a week and a half, we decided to order a replacement cover from another vendor. Just before we were about to place the order, Chris phoned informing us that our "new cover" was in and ready for delivery, and asked us to pay half the cost. We told A-Tex that as long as they'd had the cover fabricated we would accept it, but would not pay for the new cover since it was fully covered by our insurance company. A-Tex agreed to this as long as we would pay a $75 delivery charge in cash. When the replacement cover was delivered, the first thing A-Tex's delivery people did was cut the old spa cover in half. The new cover turned out to be only half as thick and heavy as the first cover. Since the original cover was destroyed, we had no choice but to pay the $75 delivery fee and accept the replacement. When my wife spoke with our salesman and with Chris about these issues, Chris was extremely rude and said, "You've already taken enough of my time and I'm not talking to you any more" and hung up on her. Every step of the way, A-Tex's staff has been unresponsive, careless, deceptive and rude with us. We eventually brought the matter to the attention of our credit card company, disputing the charges on the basis of fraud.

In a routine conversation with someone named Michelle regarding service she was rude and hung up on me. I called back and she did not apologize for hanging up or for her unprofessional attitude towards me. I let her know that she should go fuck herself for her behavior and that I would never do business with them again. Then I received a message saying that I was banned from their business. Fair enough. No courtesy or professional response from a company I've spent more than $10k at in the past 4 years. She needs to be fired.

Turns out this is a family business, which makes sense why Chad knew the Jacuzzi system backwards and forwards. Probably been hearing about hot tubs since he was a kid. Also, he had just the right touch. He knew the products were quality, so he didn't pressure us or upsell. He let the products do the talking. He earned our trust and delivered on it 100%, including being responsive over text as I got the whole thing installed and set up. Service that really went above and beyond. The only thing I would add to the Big Star business model: a subscription plan to get the chemicals delivered automatically. Would love to set it and forget it, with my money going to a locally-owned, family-run business instead of Amazon. Support small businesses!

Thankfully, a logistics company named We-Gotchu Logistics and Tanner, owner, saved the day. I had to order a crane so that we could take it over a privacy fence. I did all this on my own, except for Tanner, who made an exception to put me first in line and specifically gave me a time he would be here, so as not to run up my bill with the crane company. He did just that and more. Since we never heard from Vince after he finished the paperwork on the Spa and collected his money, I would say service after the sale is zero. Don't take any chances with Vince or Paradise Spas.

It was then that I started calling Paradise Spas for delivery. It is now April 14th, and I CANNOT get anyone to give me a delivery date. I have called multiple times per week, and no one ever calls me back. Today, I asked for a refund of my money, and they said, "All sales are final." Well, okay, all sales are final, but then a PRODUCT is typically given for a sale. They took our money, and we sat without a hot tub for four weeks. This was not just for fun; my husband had seven knee surgeries, and the doctor said it would be good therapy for him, so there is that, too. BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY. I will update this review if and when I get the tub or my money back.

Would not recommend…read more We hired them for weekly pool service and kept them for around 8 months before they 'quit' due to me calling them out for unprofessionalism. Specifically, I have security cameras on my driveway and pool so could see when they would come to service the pool. Many service visits would be less than 10 minutes. A couple months in to the service relationship, we experienced our first no-call-no-show. We received no email about the missed visit and so I inquired and asked for a refund for the missed week. They gave me a refund for that week. Then a few months later, it happened again. No email telling me why the visit was missed. I emailed them saying that it was unprofressional and I shouldn't have to be micro-managing, checking every week whether the service was done, and I expected a refund again for the missed week. The owner replied in a very defensive way, implying I had not read the service agreement sufficiently ... "As clearly stated in the agreement, our company observes four scheduled holidays, during which regular service does not occur. December 30 falls within that holiday period, so no service was scheduled for that week." However, after re-reading the agreement, it stated that the week of Christmas was one of the holiday weeks, and Dec 30 did not fall on that week. So the owner was flat out wrong about this. They also said that I "received at least two additional service visits beyond what is contractually included, at no charge ... those visits were provided as a courtesy" which not a reasonable excuse for missing a visit without notice. Ultimately, they stated "No services were missed that fall outside the terms of the contract, and no refund is due for the week in question" which is a false assertion. When I questioned the two courtesy visits (which I had not recorded myself), they stated one of them was "An additional service visit in July, resulting in five total visits that month." The service agreement clearly stated that I (the client) pay monthly, and the service we receive is weekly visits. So this "courtesy" visit was not actually a courtesy visit at all. It was an expectation. Finally they stated "to bring this service relationship to a clear and orderly conclusion, we will schedule your final service visit for [...]" which was a "you can't fire me because I quit!" way of handling it all. Rather than apologize to the customer for a missed visit, they: - got defensive and tried to imply I hadn't read the terms of my agreement - made false assertions Unprofessional and dishonest. Edit: The owner already replied to this review in the same tone used in the emails ... "your pool was consistently maintained in accordance with that agreement" ... it's almost as if they've been to small claims court before and now choose their words carefully to never imply wrongdoing. As it stands, I never received a service visit the week *after* Christmas even though I should have per the service agreement. Just know that if you hire this company, your experience will not be hands off.

The response I received, without a single phone call or communication was basically a copy and paste which started out thanking me for taking the time to meet him...Which led me to believe his entire spiel was a copy and paste as we never met or had a single conversation. The rest of the email contained a YouTube video, 1 testimonial and an actual contract to be signed along with my credit card information! Of course, I had more questions and responded. Days later after his vacation, he responded with more copy and paste and absolutely no answers to my questions. I then copy and pasted the question that he refused to answer and his response was the following: "Maintenance agreement with details and cost have been previously attached and are in this thread. Videos have been attached with explanations and expectations. Unfortunately, I don't think we'll be able to accommodate any of your requests. I rescind the offer to serve you and wish you well in finding a service provider. Have a great summer." This response felt like it came from a petulant child and I had to laugh because you do not offer a service, clients PAY you to provide a service. Thank goodness Easy Pools is not the only pool maintenance company in town because if they were, I would gladly watch a YouTube video and not his, on how to maintain my own pool. If you want to deal with a professional company that has 5 stars and not 3.5, and that actually appreciates their clients, take my advice and contact Alex at Patriot Pool and Spa.

HARD PASS. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND AT ALL!…read more Moved to a new house and shopping for pool service. Submitted an online request on their website Wednesday around 9 AM. Out of the 5 companies I submitted a request to, they were the 2nd ones I reached out to but the last ones to reach out back to me (excluding the auto-generated "thank you" text which the other pool companies sent as well). Lisa from the office called me Wednesday at 5:38 PM and said she could have a tech come out the next day to give me a quote. Jose came out Thursday around noon. He was super nice and professional. He said he would get me 3 different quotes for the 3 type of packages they offer by the end of the day or the next day (Friday) in the morning at the latest. By Friday at 4:25 PM, I had yet to receive anything so I called and spoke to Lisa and she said they'll send it over shortly. They sent 2 quotes (not 3) at 4:40 PM. Monday morning at 10 AM, I called to discuss the quotes for further clarification, especially since the links weren't working. Lisa said she's going to call Jose and call me right back. She never did. Tuesday morning at 8:28 AM, almost a week after I had initially reached out, I called saying they never called me back and asked to speak to a manager. She put me on the phone with Jose and he was a totally different person than the guy that came out to the house. He kept interrupting me and talking over me. He was rude saying I didn't know anything about pools (that might be true but this is not my first house with a pool and that's not something you'd say to a prospective client), and making excuses for their lack of responsiveness. If they're this bad when they're trying to earn my business, I can't imagine how bad they are once they do earn it. Reading some of their other reviews, I should've just never reached out to begin with. TLDR: Unresponsive, unprofessional/rude, overpromise/underdeliver. Ended up going with a different pool company that responded right away and was able to get me on the schedule immediately.

They were tasked with emptying our pool's sand filtration system, and as per the line items on the agreement it SAYS 'remove sand and haul off property." So what did these guys do? They DUMPED the entire sand contents onto our grass property next to the pool house. I was livid. We were not informed they'd be doing this (nor did we want random sand spread ALL over our lawn!?), and then they just left like we wouldn't notice mounds of sand?! It wasnt even dumped in one spot, it was SPREAD all over our property like someone was building a sand pit. They left trash next to our pool and around our pool house area (zip ties, cut tubing, screws). I have a 1 year old who eats everything so as a mother, this is obviously insane someone would leave choking hazards around. Not to mention leaving trash in general is unbelievable unprofessional. It was packaging for the pool lights. Oh boy lets talk about that! They installed new pool lights, tested it extensively while here, only for my husband and I to try them out and realize 1 of them flickered like crazy and flat out stopped working. What on earth was this guy testing all that time during the day!? One guy came to do all the chemicals in the pool after fully draining it to pressure wash the pool, he didn't even have a vacuum to remove all the dang sand. He CLAIMS he was informed of it too late and he was already on his way. Don't care, unprofessional, yet again. You mess something up, you fix it immediately. Any respectable company would do this. It's been a week and they said they'd be back to vacuum up the sand on monday. Come Monday, did anyone show up? NOPE. Not even a phone call saying they cannot make it. I'm so pissed Ace Hardware has the audacity to display these guys' business on their front doors, btw. The Ace in Georgetown. Laziest worst communicating business I've ever encountered. These guys are the absolute WORST bothersome stressful group of men I've ever seen run a 'business'. I've lost sleep over how awful these guys are. UPDATE: they came today to "clean up the sand", check the photos. Plenty of sand still present. They clearly didn't vacuum it like promised. I saw the beardy employee just sweep it around looks like he used dirt and leaves to spread it around on top of the sand still present. This isn't even fine sand, it's incredibly thick! What a joke.
