This has to be the worse nail set I've ever received anywhere in the valley. Idk if it was the owner who did them but he was an older man. He was so rushed, his hands were extremely dirty, he was sloppy with his work, my ring finger nails are different sizes, the list goes on. He didn't even properly glue one of my nails on so it's just floating on my nail bed. I would not recommend this place to anyone. It was $75 for sloppy work. & it'll end up being $100 all together to go somewhere else to get them removed . Honestly the manager/whoever's at the front is super friendly and nice but sometimes i feel the other workers aren't necessarily rude but definitely not nice either. I also shaved my legs before i went to get my toes done (ik im partially to blame) and i got ring worm from this place! it took forever to get rid of! it was so awful. i asked friends and family/ one of my relatives spoke about how a couple years back they also got ring worm from here! i even tipped the guy who did my nails a pretty decent amount (server here so i like tipping good) and he didn't even say thanks or say bye to send me off just sort of walked away. I just felt very awkward here and unwelcome and i'm not a particularly picky person/i'm not too big on socializing but yeah this def a 1/10 experience only cuz the lady at the front you pay was extremely friendly. Have not been back since or to another nail salon for that matter because i'm actually terrified of getting ring worm again :( my mom use to be a pretty regular person who went for years in the past but she says the service has been going down as the years passed and has since moved on to another nail tech/salon. I've been there twice. The first in November 2017. The lady was super rough but did a very thorough job. She was not nice but she removed all cuticles and the polish lasted. The second time August 7, 2018. They charge extra for everything and did a horrible, horrible job. They don't sanitize their tools. She didn't even apply a bond before my gel until I asked her. The pedicure lasted less than a week. The shape was very crooked and the n ails were lumpy. She scraped my nail bed and left plenty of cuticles. Honestly, I plan to report them to the state board. I am a licensed cosmetologist and I can tell you they are not using sanitary procedures and the way they scrape will cause damage to your nails. read more

While visiting family in Calexico, my cousin and i decided we needed to have girl time, so we went to the mall in El Centro to get our nails done; I was getting a fill for my acrylics, and she was getting a French pedi. We were taken rather quickly, which was kind of a surprise seeing as it was a Saturday and the weekend after Thanksgiving. The girl didn't file my nails all the way down. The end result was that you could definitely see where the line for my previous set was, and according to my usual nail guy, the girl didn't do it right and created an air pocket in my nails from not filing them down completely and created FUNGUS. I was visiting for the weekend and decided to try this nail salon. I was greeted by waited for 15 minutes before this lady came over and told me to sit in the spa chair. Then this young technician came over and started working on my feet.... No greeting at all, he didn't talk! He just handed me a pamphlet with spa treatment prices and got an attitude when I said I wanted a the regular. He was rough, I got nicked and he rushed doing my feet and hands. So me and my girlfriends went out to visit my other girlfriend so we can all have a girl day in El Centro and we went to the nearest mall. Imperial Valley Mall. Inside, it was beautiful. It was nice and clean also. When we entered, we saw a nail shop there that looked pretty quaint. So we just stopped by to get some pedicures. It was reasonably priced. What every usual Salon should have. The massage was nice and soothing and pretty long. We all had also ordered the "Sea Salt Scrub." It's basically these blue gentle little rocks they massage on you. It felt fantastic and left my leg feeling nice and soft. Then after that, they painted my nails. It was nice and neat as usual. So after everything was over, we all payed and got out. I went to the salon for mani pedis with my mom for Mother's Day. Our appointment was at 11AM. We were there for TWO HOURS. Two hours for a mani pedi?! I routinely get mani pedis and I've never taken more than 30-45 minutes for both. The quality of the services themselves were subpar. The nail tech I had was incredibly rude, short with me and rolled her eyes constantly at me. My nails look okay. I could have done a better job at home, to be honest. I got white gel whole nail with some rhinestones on the top. My mom got a mani/pedi all white whole nail. I was told that the total charge was $163. I asked them to break it down for me and the charges came out to way less then they told me. I ended paying $64 for all white whole nail with no design and my moms was $72 for gel nail polish. I don't use acrylics, and it seems that the techs forgot how to work with natural nails. They used the same file they use for acrylics and used the back and forth motion..as far I am concerned that is a big NO NO for natural nails and you would figure they should know that. Well the filing was horrible. So bad so that my nails would snag the towel under my hands. The paint job was SO BAD that you could se the unpolished corners. Then pedicure was extremely quick and the roughness was not completely removed and to add to the aggravation when I removed the polish three weeks later I realized I had a nail fungus on my toe. Now I have to go to the doctor for treatment. Prices are high and the service is horrible. I had them re-do my manicure and the person was visibly upset . Even when I showed the woman who did my gel nails that they were rough and bubbly she filed them and insisted she didn't feel what I felt, also toes are smugged and red nail polish on my toes. I've been coming here on and off for a few years and today is the last day I'll be back. The woman who worked on my pedicure cut me a few times and did a decent job with painting my toes. When I cake time to pay I told her that I would also be paying for my younger sister. That seemed to frustrate her because she sighed loudly and walked away. The worst full set I have ever gotten!! I had never seen someone put the powder over the nail before cutting them down. This man cut it after it dried and cracked the nail. Then he filed it down so much down to the tip of my finger. When he finished I told him that they were too short...(oh yeah and the right hand had longer nails then the left) he said he would take the ones that were short and do them over. I didn't have time to wait and told him I i didn't think I should pay 54 dollars for that service. He start clipping the nails and when he was done he wanted to continue hurting me, so I told him he cut them down to the tip and I would take them off myself. At first I was lost and had no clue I had to sign in and no one greeted me and told me I had to sign in I just asked another person waiting there. Don't go here or IV nails (which is owned by the same guy I believe). They're both in the Imperial Valley mall, and just look at the picture of my nails. You will see lines/creases in my nails due to them sloppily applying a top coat and it dried totally obvious as an uneven edge, instead of taking their time to fully coat the nail. First of all, I was warned by my mother and sister not to come here but went anyway, as I was in a hurry. I was visiting my family in El Centro this weekend and needed to get my nails done for an anniversary party. I walked in and waited about 30 minutes before being helped. Also, when I first walked in, I mentioned that I needed a mani/pedi and I was asked to take a seat and never told to sign in. After noticing several women signing in, I walked up and asked if I needed to sign in and the guy said yes, so that may be why I waited so much longer. Anyhow, the women who assisted me was so unwelcoming and disagreeable. First of all, as she began my pedicure, she grabbed the clippers and told me she would be charging me an additional $10 to take off my gel nail polish from my toes as she began cutting of my nail polish with clippers to which I replied "why? i don't have gel on my toes?" and she grabbed the nail polish remover and started to easily wipe off my nail polish. Then, she told me the colors i chose would not work and went on to tell me that the nail polishes were not good colors and wouldn't last. It was on and on and on before I realized she just wanted me to choose a color that was dark so she only had to do 1 coat. I hated my color but was in a hurry so I just accepted it and knew that I needed to get my hands done. I chose a gel color for my fingernails and again she continued to disagree with the color until she finally selected one for me that was close enough. The color didn't paint well on my fingernails and when I asked her to change it, she got angry and I told her I did not like the way it looked and she started yelling at me in another language and the manger was trying to calm her down.
