I got a pedicure at Angie's Nails for the first time. I used to get acrylics here all the time when I was in high school and the man working there always did excellent work. As well as Angie! However, I recently went to get a pedicure and even though the service and price was decent there was one thing I did not like. I had to walk from the pedicure chair to another chair a few feet away to dry my toe nail polish. Normally at other salons, they give you those disposable sandals but not at Angie's. I'm so sad with my experience today. I took my mother in law who lives out of state. We had a nail tech I have never seen before, and I frequent this salon a lot. The nail tech cut BOTH of us several times and it was the most painful pedi I've ever gotten. She also didn't even cut our nails. No ingrown nails or anything for her to remove either. She did not apologize and couldn't get the bleeding to stop. You can see in the photo that I'm even bleeding in the water. It makes me sad to leave this review because Angie and the other young lady are really good but this new tech was just horrible. She is the tech with gold round glasses. Beware! A pedicure is $30 and they charge a 2 extra dollars if u use a debit card.. they basically cut ur nail buff, put lotion on ur legs polish n done.. they took maybe 10 min if that to complete a pedicure They have doors closed no AC and maybe a fan or 2 No air circulation at all.. I had to ask for them to clean after the prior client before they started my pedicure.. I saw def disinfect absolutely nothing after clients.. The nail technician did not provide a manicure or pedicure service. She did not cut, file, trim the cuticle or provide oil and or lotion. Did not massage the feet or hands. Instead she painted a gel polish on both her nails and toes and then proceeded to charge me $70. We were in and out within 10 minutes. Silvia, the owner was very unprofessional and very impolite. It's a wonder this uneducated uncaring and unproductive evil person still has this business running. When asked for prices they have nothing to show the customer. They give different prices to customers for the same service. When you speak with the owner she looks at someone else rather than the person who is speaking with her and ignores questions. This is the first time I'm leaving a review and I'm doing it because I hope the salon will change their practice for the safety of their client. I tried to provide this feedback while I was there but they were defensive. 1. Tools were dirty. The nail file appeared to be used and same with the callus sponge 2. No plastic in the basin which is against the law for a self-fill basin in the state of California. 3. They used a blade for a callus treatment which they charged $15 extra for. That is actually illegal to use in the state if California because if high risk of infection. I saw It being used on someone while I was There. 4. The paint on my nails was nice but there is really no other part to this pedicure 5. Your sign says no service without a Mask. The male who works in the salon barely kept his on. Follow your own rules. Please Follow the guidelines in place by the state to protect your clients from serious health complications. I will never go back. The middle aged woman that did my pedicure was distracted/talking the whole time and did such a half assed job. The wait time was longer than the actual pedicure itself. When I asked to pay (since they ignored me and didn't think to offer assistance with payment) the man told me to go get cash across the street and that they aren't taking cards but nowhere on the door does it say that..? TERRIBLE! I want to cry just by looking at my nails and toes. I went in for a fill and it was not what I wanted at all. To cover up her mistakes, Angie colored over the acrylic with a nail color that she thought matched my skin color expect it makes it look like I have finger fungus. She charged me $50 for a fill when they said it was only supposed to be 30. My French tips are all crooked and it's horrendous. If I could give this place zero stars I would. I also got a pedicure and she did not do her job at all, she scrubbed my feet for a good 7 seconds and called that a scrub. This was my first time here, and I should have read some reviews. I had a pedicure and a full set. As for the pedicure, one thing was very evident. There is no plastic cover over the feet filter so who knows how often they clean it. There was only 1 pedicure technician working so everything was rushed as more people came in. The pedicure was a very basic with no option to add on things. As for the nails there was only 2 technicians and the lady who seemed to be the manager or owner of the place kept telling people to take a seat so I kept having to wait for my full set because the person working on me was working on two other people at the same time. Very disappointed. First of all the guy that did my nails was so rude the whole time. He was jerking and pushing my hands around and being so rough as well as slapping them at some point. Not only that but we had called to ask how much the nails would be and he had told us one price but when it was time to pay he added on other charges such as extra for gel removal since we had originally got it done at another salon. read more

Great experience, excellent service, definitely going back! The man did my nails full set acrylic/gel and they were the prettiest I had ever had them done. He listened when I specified the length, color, and design and got to work immediately. Note: this was on New Years Eve and I came in 30 minutes before closing and he didn't hesitate to see me. Usually have a good experience but this last time, they were terrible. When they were filing my nails, they filed my skin right under where my cuticles would be. They filed my skin for EVERY SINGLE FINGER. The next day all of my fingers have cuts on them and are scraped, it hurts a lot. Terrible !!!! I paid $103 dlls for regular mani $ pedi nothing fancy just gel !! i got there everything OK ! for some reason they can't stop talking, I put my earplugs on whatever !!. The chairs have a timer, this means they time to provide the service include clean your feet, pedi, when the chair STOP !!! thats when they can do your nails, they apply the polish because your not shaking any more. this lady !!!! Finish everything and the chair still working, no towel, no massage nothing, like someone is chasing her. Because she is in a hurry she hurt me so so so bad I put out my feet several times she don't care, she keep talking in her chisme !!! who care my feet !!. she transfer me all wet to the chair to do my nails, and same thing !! burns, she insert that stick under my nails that deep that I swear to God I think she touch my brain. I'm giving it 5 stars. For pedicure. Tina did my pedicure and was outstanding. The best foot/leg massage ever. I called and was told to come right in. When I got there there was no waiting. Tin was kind and professional. I also had a manicure done. The hand massage was excellent! When I got home my manicure looked like a 4 year old did it. They clean and file your nails thoroughly and use a nail filer machine. The ladies are courteous and very nice and you feel like a star afterwards. Very good work on the pedicures and manicures. If I could give 0 stars I would. I will never return here. When I walked in twice I was not greeted (I left and came back) The wait was about 3 hours. The older woman who speaks no English did my nails and did not know how to take the Gel off she filed and buffed at my nails for over 20 minutes. When he went to clip my nails down she did it very annoyingly as is she was over it and hurt my finger. The woman laughed.
