I found Melissa Michael's spa a little over a year ago looking for a place to get my brows waxed! First of all after my first visit I was hooked. She is the only person who has ever done a phenomenal job of shaping my eyebrows, and I absolutely love them. Funny thing is she always tells me I have great eyebrows when she's done, and until having her shape my eyebrows I didn't believe they could look so great! I've had the manicure and pedicure here as well and let me tell you the spa pedicure is the best I've ever had. My feet were soft for days as opposed to any of the local nail places where it only lasts minutes from when I leave the salon. I was so happy to find such a clean spa with excellent customer service in the valley, I've gone regularly for one service or another since I discovered it months ago. Very friendly & professional. I went for deep tissue massage with Frank. If you need a deep tissue massage to work out any areas of concern, he will do it. It might hurt a bit during the process, but you'll appreciate it afterward! Frank did ask about what level of pressure I wanted, so you can communicate that to him. I chose firm, because I knew I needed some areas worked through. But it is so improved now. I will be back again. read more

After a misunderstand (on my part) about what services were booked the owner offered to rebook for what I thought I had scheduled and in the end offered me a take home gift bag with skin care products. Located on a quiet street in Imperial, this place is definitely a jewel in the desert. The salon is adorable on the outside and makes you feel like you're coming over to a friend's house. I made an appointment for a brow wax with Melissa and she was ready for me as soon as I walked in the door (I was also greeted with a smile from their host, who directed me over to Melissa). She was very nice and professional, we talked about work and before I knew it she was done and my eyebrows looked great! I absolutely love this Salon. As soon as you walk in the door you are greeted with a smile and instantly start to feel relaxed. The atmosphere just invites you to surrender your anxiety and leave your frustrations at the door. The message therapist I had was friendly and knew how to help me relax.
