I was not allowed to purchase Sudafed because I used a United States Veterans Administration Official identification card that had my picture on it and is valid until 2026. The manager was kind enough to call and tell me what I already knew. (Excerpt from the law) Primary forms of identification: These include driver's licenses or state-issued IDs, U.S. passports, military IDs, and other government-issued photo IDs.!!!!! Secondary forms of identification (may be accepted): This may include school IDs with photos, voter registration cards, military cards or draft records, military dependent IDs, Native American tribal documents, U.S. Coast Guard Merchant Mariner Cards and Canadian driver's licenses. Some retailers may also accept school records, clinic records, and daycare records. For individuals 16 and older, if their ID does not contain a photo, it should contain identifying information like name, date of birth, sex, height, eye color, and address. Great location with plenty of parking the store is very organized and well stocked on items. Customer service is amazing I appreciate the guidance to find the restrooms that are not in public view. I came in for bubble gum for the mountains and toy for the kids. Great store very satisfied with my visit highly recommend a visit. read more

I'm mad at Walgreen's for discontinuing the Dad's Root Beer flavored cough drops that were under their name. Best cough drops I ever used. They didn't have any postcards of El Centro, just some racy ones not appropriate for children and a couple of comedy ones for California for 50 cents each. Good selection of drugstore products. We went there for a bottle of wine to take to her friend's house but they don't carry booze. Said they would in about a month. read more

Customer service is horrible at this location. This Walgreens looks dirty and it is dirty and having shitty employee just adds to this dumpster of a store. Management will come to your face and show no emotions and tell you straight to your face NO. They wont give explanations or apologies simply just put you to shame in front of other customers. I don't normally write reviews for places like this but I had an amazing experience. I ordered a last minute Christmas photo book for my grandma from here and it came out perfect! worst drive thou and pharmacy ever this is 3 time. they say they take there lunch break from 12 to 1. every time we come 1:15 wait for 30 min twice. and they said we close and there very rude they do not care. another time they put in wrong medicine i ask them to open bag they said no to me. i get to open it. and it wrong med they did not return it. because they said i pay for it. make sure you check medicine before leaving. and this just management it everyone works in pharemacy read more

You will wait at least an hour every time you go to get your prescriptions. They are horribly short staffed.

Just to be clear this is for the pharmacy. I don't think it's the staff but more likely they are short of staff as they cannot accomodate the volume of request. Looks like staff are working hard but understaff hence super slow slow service.to pick up a prescription will take you 1 hour also tried the drive thru took longer instead. Great location just bad service in terms of time.This will be my last prescription here.Hopefully management see this review and will consider adding more staff to help out. read more

I didn't think I would ever get to the front of the short line pick up a Rx here! Beyond slow!

I mainly come here just to fill my prescriptions. I've tried almost every other pharmacy in the Imperial Valley and this has been the best one I have come across. Sometimes other pharmacies would not have a particular item and I would have to shop around and this Walgreens always ended up having what I needed in stock. I like the convenience of the drive up window to drop off and pick up prescriptions. I can also keep track of my prescriptions and refill right from my iPhone with the Walgreens app. It's also nice to be able to use my iPhone as my Walgreens loyalty card instead of carrying another plastic card in my wallet. There are also two redbox kiosks at this store to satisfy all of your movie needs. My only complaint is the homeless people who hang around outside of the store. There hasn't been a single time I have walked into the store without someone asking me for spare change... read more

This review is for Robert in photo. My husband and I have searched the valley for a specific watch battery all week with no luck. On a whim I decided to call Walgreens and Robert knew right away that they probably carry the battery but it was going to be under a different number but compatible to the one we needed. He asked me to put him on hold and Google the compatibility with Energizer (the brand they carry.) Sure enough, he checked and they carry it. Nobody in the electronics or jewelry stores anywhere else in the valley even knew or mentioned that there was a different number based on the brand. He went out of his way and made sure they had it before I drove over there. Customer service is never this awesome in the valley. Robert went above and beyond and even though it was for something as small as a battery, it saved me a lot of time and I really appreciate the effort he made that saved me a good 45 minutes. read more

My insurance switched to Walgreens. I hate it. ^ trips to pick up meds that were allegedly ready as was told by their text. Only car in line at the pickup and it still took 15 minutes before we had to leave, minus the meds. They only have 1 cashier who runs 3 stations. You will NEVER EVER get your meds in anything close to a reasonable time. I have written Walgreens Corporate about this and I get a canned reply and no changes to their absolutely horrible customer service. Beyond terrible.
