Ask for Martha. She is wonderful. She listens to how you want you want your hair cut. My husband likes a scissor cut and she does it perfectly. Then she trims with the clippers. I highly recommend Martha at Crossing's Barber Shop. We haven't tried anyone else but we know Martha does a good job!

He was very friendly and helped my husband feel more confident. My husband doesn't have anything fancy-no wash or style-just cut the hair so it lays nice. He had his hair cut once by someone who could really only do modern cuts and wasn't happy. Paul has the skills to do both traditional cuts as well as modern razor styles. Somehow, I still walked out with a haircut that looked nothing like what I asked for. It honestly feels like my hair was completely butchered into a generic "high school" style instead of the cut I requested. I tried to be as clear as possible, so this wasn't a communication issue. I still tipped generously out of respect, but I left extremely disappointed. Based on my experience, I can understand why some of the negative reviews mention poor results. Yes this is the right Top Notch Barbershop in El Centro I'm talking about.
