    Teriyaki chicken

The food is nice and hot and it actually has flavor. The service is great and fast. The restaurant atmosphere is nice. Best Hawaiian BBQ in the 915

I was in the area and tried out Da Real Aloha BBQ. My family ordered bulgogi and chicken katsu which weren't bad. I ordered the Korean BBQ chicken and hoped it would be something to remind me of Korea. It wasn't. I wouldn't try it and recommend calling they call it something else. Overall, the place wasn't bad.

My wife and I are visiting EP for the weekend. We decided to check out this restaurant for the first time. We love Hawaiian food and love that there's a spot in East EP for us to enjoy it. We came in on a Wednesday afternoon for lunch, around 2 PM. It wasn't very busy at this time. It's small with tables mostly for 4 people, maybe a 5th if you squeeze in. It also has a "bar-style" seating option--a longer table attached to the wall with seats set in a row on one side of it. Be mindful if you're coming with a large party. Portions are HUGE so my wife and I decided to order and split a "Chicken Katsu Plate." The plate comes with katsu sauce for dipping your chicken, 2 scoops of white steamed rice and macaroni salad. The macaroni salad was deliciously creamy and I think it had chucks of potatoes in it or something--didn't expect it and it was SO good. The white rice was well cooked and soft. And the chicken was well-breaded with just the right amount of crispiness. Dipping it into the provided katsu sauce elevated the flavor. A plate like this is perfect for two people, maybe even 3 with an additional scoop of macaroni or rice. The woman behind the counter was super friendly and offered an extra plate for my wife and I without us even asking. We'll definitely be back to order more off of the menu. We highly recommend this restaurant!!

I love Hawaii and Hawaiian food so when I saw this place while passing by..I knew I had to stop. Glad I finally did! I got a two meat plate...only complaint, the char on some of the ribs was too much. Otherwise it was great! The macaroni salad was creamy and delicious and a perfect complement to the rest of the plate. Next time I'll dine in. I'll be back for sure!

Nothing but great things to say about Da Real Aloha BBQ! Very delicious! We got the crispy pasta and kahlbi ribs. Quick friendly service. They're a small location so seating is limited. However, who knows they could outgrow that place in the future due to how delicious it is. We will be coming back.

The food is always made to order with high-quality ingredients and perfectly sized portions-you'll feel full but still craving more. The service is consistently friendly, energetic, and welcoming, which makes the wait totally worth it. My go-to is the regular-size teriyaki chicken, but the chicken katsu is gas too. The food is very traditional, and I highly recommend it--l'II definitely keep coming back. Everything is made fresh, so be patient; it's 100% worth the wait. The store is always clean, and the ambiance is filled with classic Hawaiian hits.

I want to come back to give it a 5 stars after I try their spicy katsu or the beef because I know these folks will knock it out of the park! We've been to Hawaii before and our expectations for Hawaiian cuisine in other places outside of Hawaii are pretty high! Who would've thought, Da Real Aloha would be Da Real Deal in El Paso, TX. From the friendliness and kindness of their staff - thank you for giving us an extra plate for me and my husband to use while we shared our meal , to the portions and deliciousness of the macaroni salad. So so good! I give this place a 4 because I wanted more from the chicken katsu. Don't get me wrong, it was beautifully cooked and a flavorful bite with the sweet sauce that the dish came with, but I was still hoping for something more. My favorite part was the macaroni salad, it was so creamy, fresh and light! We should've gotten an extra side of macaroni salad for us to enjoy, will do so next time! It's a lot of food- which I love because that's exactly how it is when in Hawaii, so I'd recommend ordering the regular option and sharing! The space is small, but clean and welcoming. Would definitely be back on our next El Paso trip.

Heard good things about this place and finally had the time to stop by. I went in and ordered the regular chicken katsu spicy plate to go. Waited about 10 minutes and it was ready. Got home to enjoy my meal and boy was I surprised. The spiciness is an understatement, it was hot spicy but not overbearing that I couldn't enjoy it. The flavor was delicious and I enjoyed every bite. I ordered too much but I had leftovers for the next day. I'm glad this place is in my neighborhood, I'll be back again.

I've been here twice in two weeks! This place hits the spot that has been vacant since I got here last month. Friendly service! Ambiance is regular hole in the wall place. I can't wait to go back! This place will hit with any pacific islander.

Crispy pata portion was generous for its price. Meat is tender and skin was popping crispy

The fact that they have reasonably priced Filipino items would make me want to go back and try other dishes

I enjoyed the tteokbokki so much and I feel like as simple as this dish is, a lot of places sometimes miss. Again I know it isn't their fault maybe the day I came in it was really busy and maybe it's not that busy usually but I would have liked to be in a bigger space.

Thick slices with a beautiful smoke ring, deep flavor, and that perfect balance of tenderness and structure. It was juicy without being greasy, and the bark had just the right bite. The brisket sandwich was equally satisfying. Simple, honest, and generous, with crisp onions and a soft bun that let the meat shine. The ribs had great flavor, but were a bit on the dry side during this visit. Still enjoyable, but the brisket definitely stole the show. Sides were a mix. The green beans were outstanding. Easily some of the best I've had at a barbecue spot. Full of flavor and clearly cooked with care. The beans and cornbread were solid and comforting. The coleslaw, though, didn't quite stand out and was the only item I'd probably skip next time. The space itself adds to the experience. Open, casual, and unpretentious. It feels like a place focused on doing barbecue right rather than trying to be trendy. FYI: You order first & they bring out the food to you. Overall, Hallelujah BBQ is absolutely worth visiting, especially for the brisket and those green beans. I'll definitely be back.

Ordered a manzanita drink (drink selection is a little different than many other restaurants). The Mac & Cheese appetizer was delicious! Actually, my favorite part of the meal! The sub sandwich came with a simple green salad that was a nice combo. The sandwich bread was soft & warm and included meatballs covered in sauce & melted cheese.
