Live bands , good bbq, great beer selection, can't go wrong here as this is El paso's next level bbq establishments which continues to grow to new heights. The Service was great, from the servers, to bar backs. Everyone was hard at work for us in Horizon. Come check it out and sit down or take out. Authentic BBQ is slow smoked and runs out, so make your plans to arrive early! Good job Jason keep it goin!

This place was a rec and I was stopping in El Paso for food so thought I'd give it a try. Sides were solid! I was skeptical about the pineapple in the slaw but knock until you try it! It was actually delish! The potato salad was also delish. A bit disappointed in the meats though. Flavor was all there and sauce was solid but brisket was overcooked and ribs were extremely dry. Friendly service!

3 meat combo with beans and potato salad! "Five stars isn't enough! The 3-meat combo is the way to go if you want to try the best of everything. The smoke flavor is authentic and deep, not overbearing. Everything was juicy, hot, and served with a smile. Hands down the best BBQ I've had in a long time. Do yourself a favor and try them out!"

    Texas Trinity was amazing

Family owned business with outstanding food, incredible service and the kind of BBQ, you dream about after a long day. Thank you for the time and energy you put into your recipes.

Hands down, the best BBQ I've ever had! As soon as I walked in, I was greeted with a smile and amazing hospitality. Located in a large plaza, plenty of parking available. Brisket: (5/5) - you get the option to choose between moist or lean brisket which is pretty awesome. So tender and pairs so well with their bbq sauce. Ribs: (5/5) - falls right off the bone and into your mouth, cooked perfectly! Mac and cheese: (4/5) - I'm a sucker for shells and the bell peppers was different but not necessarily bad. Potato salad: (3/5) - I prefer smaller cuts of potato, maybe add some pickles to add to the crunch and sourness over the mustard.

Very disappointed Brisket was very dry seem like old brisket had high hopes. Fries were fresh

Let me say their staff is kind and understanding small home town kind of place . Omg their Mac & cheese and coleslaw were some of the best I've ever had . I want to say I'm 50/50 in their meats but so I hear we were lucky to get any because they usually sell out so perhaps to get their best representation best bet is To go earlier . I still would recommend this place because we had a nice time .

Skinny Pig We weren't originally planning on driving thru Texas en route from Las Cruces to Carlsbad. But, after seeing as how it was just an additional hour or so to the road trip, it seemed worthwhile as this would be our first chance to get our hands--and mouths--on some real Texas BBQ. After consulting the Yelp Gods, we had decided on Desert Oak BBQ as our destination of choice for the best Q in El Paso. However, unbeknownst to us and Waze™, they had evidently left these digs for larger ones down the street and had been replaced by a young upstart catering/food truck turned brick-and-mortar Skinny's BBQ. The Good: *We met the owner and two of his kids who were helping out over the holiday break, and they were really great salt of the earth people. This is also a veteran and Latino-owned business for those who care. *All of the Q was outstanding. Even the pulled pork, which I'm very picky about, was really delicious. The brisket was juicy and smoky, as were the ribs and chicken. *Their housemade seven pepper sausage is really what stole the show for me, as it was smoked perfectly and had a nice spicy kick. *All their Q comes out dry (the way it should), and there's no reason to remember to ask for SoS (Sauce on Side). *Coleslaw is made with pecans and raspberries and was utterly fantastic. Sweet, crunchy, and just the right amount of mayo. Maybe the best 'slaw we've ever had. *Fried Twinkies® were a fat asses (i.e., yours truly) dream come true... Perfectly crispy fried twinkies topped with vanilla ice cream and drizzled with melty chocolate. If they have it available, you must try it! Evidently, they sell out of this quite a bit. *Outdoor seating The Meh: *Potato salad was, well, potato salad... *The chorizo beans were also disappointing. Despite having chorizo in them, they really just had zero flavor and very little salt. I'm hoping this was a fluke and not a regular thing. However, I will say, at least the beans were cooked, which is more than I can say for some BBQ places I've been to. *No beer or alcohol but evidently, you can BYOB. I'm guessing that's a TX thing? The Ugly: *D-bag reviewers that give one-star reviews for a BBQ place selling out of their meats. I hate to break it to you, but if your favorite BBQ place isn't selling out, then they probably suck. TLDR: Fantastic introduction into Texas Q and a worthy competitor for other BBQ places in the area.

I can see why the food runs out daily. It's amazing! The ribs I had were one of the best I've ever had in my life. My first time in El Paso and these ribs were amazing. Definitely recommend the ribs to try. Would come back only for those ribs. The staff was also friendly and nice. Great Texas ambience.

Stopped while driving thru town back home to California and I ordered the Texas Trinity just in time to get my ribs. the next customers weren't as lucky as they just sold out for the day! Ribs were some of the best I've had! the brisket was tender and pulled pork was delicious also. Referred this place to some locals who wanted some good BBQ

Thick slices with a beautiful smoke ring, deep flavor, and that perfect balance of tenderness and structure. It was juicy without being greasy, and the bark had just the right bite. The brisket sandwich was equally satisfying. Simple, honest, and generous, with crisp onions and a soft bun that let the meat shine. The ribs had great flavor, but were a bit on the dry side during this visit. Still enjoyable, but the brisket definitely stole the show. Sides were a mix. The green beans were outstanding. Easily some of the best I've had at a barbecue spot. Full of flavor and clearly cooked with care. The beans and cornbread were solid and comforting. The coleslaw, though, didn't quite stand out and was the only item I'd probably skip next time. The space itself adds to the experience. Open, casual, and unpretentious. It feels like a place focused on doing barbecue right rather than trying to be trendy. FYI: You order first & they bring out the food to you. Overall, Hallelujah BBQ is absolutely worth visiting, especially for the brisket and those green beans. I'll definitely be back.

As a regular meat eater, it's not necessarily the type of restaurant I would be attracted to but the service & meal was very pleasant. Jake was on point with his service & recommended the daily specials - which included the "meat"ball sub sandwich with salad. I also opted in for the Mac & Cheese appetizer because it sounded great. Ordered a manzanita drink (drink selection is a little different than many other restaurants). The Mac & Cheese appetizer was delicious! Actually, my favorite part of the meal! The sub sandwich came with a simple green salad that was a nice combo. The sandwich bread was soft & warm and included meatballs covered in sauce & melted cheese. Not bad at all but due to my own personal preference the meatballs weren't my personal favorite. In the future, I think I'll lean toward options that don't feature "meat" because of my preference but for those who look for or prefer vegan options, go visit Jake & check out this new downtown El Paso eatery!

The dishes were very well made, as if the owners were preparing them for themselves. We could tell a lot of care went into preparing them. I ordered Gom Bibim. The bedding of mixed greens were very fresh and paired nicely with the spicy noodles. My daughter ordered Gom Tang. The dish was good. The broth was a bit saltier than the traditional gom tang.
