First time here and I thought it was a really fun place!!!! I love the mirals on the wall. It was all hand painted and it is absolutely beautiful! The food was amazing and I would totally come here again. The waiter was very friendly and talkative. She could answer any questions that I had and even was willing to take pictures for me. She would check up on me to see how the food was and if there was anything else that was needed. If I lived closer by to this place, I would go broke by coming here all the time. One of my favorite restaurants in Rexburg. Their menu is diverse yet simple. Their sushi is surprisingly fresh and delicious for being located so far away from an ocean. Also the murals on the walls that surround you are well done and makes a fun setting for any occasion. This place is ALRIGHT. Their bento box isn't a box, but it is pretty good. It's not big enough to split with someone else. Their teriyaki chicken and beef are really good, but their sushi is just okay if you prefer more traditional sushi. Had a disappointing experience at the pineapple grill tonight. Ordered food, and watched two other couples come in after us and be served well ahead of us, our drinks sat empty for twenty minutes, and when we expressed our frustration our waiter was unapologetic. The dish's my family and I orders were jokes. If I could give negative stars I would. First, my party and I got placed in the back corner and we're ignored for most of the evening. After we ordered our appetizer it took 30 minuets to get it out to us and it was completely covered in oil. Afterwards we had to wait another 40 minuets we finally got our food only to find that my husband's and mine food was completely raw! We sent it back and never got the food back. People need to have good food when they pay for it. This place doesn't have good food. I am from Korea, and lived in Hawaii several years but.. just cant give them a good review. The Saimin noodle that they sell is like nightmare. Basically, seems like they use pre-chopped vegetable mix + a can of chicken broth + a pre cooked rubber texture 50cents noodle. Dare me if I am wrong. Very bad. People would say, "Oh you just picked the wrong menu" you know what? If any of food that is bad on the menu list, then you should mot sell it. read more

I have mixed feelings about this place. I'd give 3 and a half stars if yelp let me. The food was very good. We were surprised since it's almost impossible to find good food in Rexburg. We ordered the spam musubi and the teriyaki chicken bento box. My first complaint is that they took over 20 minutes just to get our appetizer to the table. We had to ask them to bring us plates, napkins and silverware, which were things that should have already been at the table. The spam musubi was delicious, it came with two pieces that were huge but it only came with one little teriyaki sauce? We asked the girl for another and she completely forgot about us. After awhile someone else brought the sauce. The food took about 45 minutes to get to us. They forgot about the Mac salad we ordered and we had to wait for them to bring that to us as well. Our food was delish, but my husband found mango in the California roll which I am allergic to. We brought it to the attention of our waiter and he replaced it with one without mango. On the menu it just said "Hawaiian California roll", they should really have a description of what is in it! The sushi was nothing special, but we loved everything else. Overall, we would come back but won't be dining in. It's just full of loud college students and the wait is ridiculous. Just order ahead to go instead. read more
