First time trying this restaurant and oh my gosh! The mi quang is amazing. The noodles were the perfect texture. The shrimp was cooked perfectly and the ribs were almost fall off the bone soft. The broth was a perfect mix of umami, sweet and spicy. I grew up eating this dish often so I have high expectations. This did not disappoint, a must try! read more

Da Lat Quan - 3. Mi Quang Dalat Special - Vietnamese Near Me - Seattle, Washington

Delicious Vietnamese food in the heart of White Center! In my opinion the star menu items are the short rib rice plate, special vermicelli rice bowl, and the fish sauce chicken wings. The short ribs are a must try! The only item that I did not love was the pho. It had some untraditional vegetables like broccoli and bok choy in it and it was just not for me. If you plan to order take out make sure to call ahead at least 30 minutes before. I have noticed the wait time tends to be between 20-45 minutes for take out depending on how busy they are. read more

Such wonderfully seasoned dishes! Best vermicelli bowl I've had in a loooong time! Fried spring roll was hot and tasty and not overly greasy like some places. The pork was uber tasty - yep, I'll be back. Cant wait to explore more of the menu. read more

Da Lat Quan is a pretty solid Vietnamese restaurant that offers some unique Vietnamese dishes that you won't find at most places, with their speciality being Mi Quang. This is one of the most underrated Vietnamese dishes so it's awesome to find a place that makes a really good bowl of it, which is hard to find in Seattle! Other than the Mi Quang, we also had the dry Hu Tieu which was on point. Everything about the food here packed flavor, and with typical traditional Viet dishes, you'll get a great bang for your buck in terms of portion size. They also offered Bo Lo Lat as a tasty appetizer, although a bit pricy. Overall, pretty solid Vietnamese restaurant. This doesn't match my parents' homemade cooking, but so far it's my go-to for Mi Quang. read more

Bo la lot were great and sauce that goes with it was also good. I recommend. Mi quang was ok, about average. The real mi quang shouldn't have this much soup. The soup was not as strong in flavor as expected. I would love to have banana flowers, they didnt give or have it. Service was standard. read more

A good Vietnamese noodle house for Vietnamese cuisine. The service is ok and the design feels like a typical restaurant. But the flavor of the food is worth a trip! read more

I recently went here and they never even bothered taking my order, I waited over 20 minutes just to order some food and the man never even checked in to see if I did. I had to walk up to him and let him know, I'm not sure if he forgot or just didn't care. Really upsetting since my last few experiences here weren't bad, but I'm not sure what happened to the customer service. read more

I was pleasantly surprised by Da Lat Quan. My husband and I went there for an early dinner on a Saturday. They are open during COVID-19 for dine in or take out. The place was a little hard to find, but they are inside a strip mall complex. They have a big parking lot, but the individual spaces are pretty small. I ordered Bun #3 - Vermicelli noodles with grilled pork and assorted vegetables, topped with peanuts. I thought it was really good and it was a hearty portion for one person. My husband ordered pho. He couldn't decide between a small or a large, but there is only $1 difference in the price, so he went with large. Their version of pho also includes vegetables like broccoli, which I haven't seen before. My husband liked his food and he thought the broth was very flavorful. Our server was super nice and totally on top of things (she was working front of house all by herself). We enjoyed our food and it was very reasonably priced. We had a pleasant experience and would definitely go back. read more

Skip this place. I walked into this restaurant based on the positive reviews and just happened to be in the White Center area. Oh boy, here's my laundry list... Their customer service is definitely nonexistent. I kept waving my hand with "Excuse me" and completely ignored. Mind you, there were only two tables including myself. Food quality is flavorless and lacked freshness. Killed a small fly before I ate. Kitchen staff were hella loud and could hear from my table. I just want to eat in peace! Here's my two cents. Good bye. read more

Da Lat Quan - Skip this place. Lacked flavor and freshness. Dalat Quan, May 2021. - Vietnamese Near Me - Seattle, Washington

Truly outstanding! Da Lat Quan is worth a drive across town. Everything they do here is a cut above. -- The menu has some items you don't see on most Vietnamese menus in America * For example, the Mi Quang Da Lat is a tangy, slightly spicy tumeric noodle soup with spareribs, prawns, crisp scallions, peanuts. Yum, I want more. Bun Thai Lan is a noodle soup with a bright, Thai broth. -- The ingredients are SO fresh and high quality * I had the most flavorful, tender, large prawns I've ever had at a neighborhood restaurant. The Bahn Xeo (sizzling rice crepe filled with bean sprouts, prawns, calamari and served with fresh herbs) was spectacular. (It is not on printed menu) -- Everything is a cut a above* Goi Cuon Tom (fresh salad rolls) normally a lackluster affair, were standouts at Da Lat Quan. Here you enjoy warm, tender rice noodles, warm, delicate tofu and the surprise crunch of a little fried spring roll wrapper within. -- Warm environment * Many neighborhood pho restaurants are plagued by brash, fluorescent light, artificial decor and grating pop music. Da Lat Quan has created a beautiful, refined dining environment. They played soft Vietnamese music. It felt like a place you'd want to dine in, rather than just grab to-go. -- Service warm * My waitress was very nice. But oh man, it's the food that's so awesome here. -- My only wish is that every dish would appear on the printed menu. You'll see some luscious choices in old images of the menu (like their crab paste noodle soup and the beef la lot) that are not on their current printed menu. read more

Stopped in for lunch and it was empty...so I was a little skeptical but I was ok with it because I needed to do some work while I ate lunch. I had the BBQ Pork Bahn Mi and this was an absolute hit! The bread was crunchy, yet not hard and it was also the right thickness...so I wasn't just eating bread. Next vegetables were the right amount, not too much/too little...just perfect and perfectly pickled. Now for the best part, the BBQ pork was a decent amount and it tasted really good. The sweetness helped counter the pickling of the vegetables. All this for $7...what a bargain! Will definitely return! read more

First time here at White Center. Got hungry while shopping at nearby store. Ordered the beef ribs with rice, beef soup, fried chicken wings and Vietnamese coffee. Long story short, food did not disappoint. Soup was rasty, beef was tender and the coffee was strong. Service was very good too. Will drop by again next time we are in the neighborhood :) read more

My favorite Vietnamese restaurant with such an aunthetic menu. Everything is good. Especially hu tiêu and rice plate. Everything is perfectly portioned and I love how much they give you. I'm new to the Seattle area. Found the place on a random rainy day. Their hu tieu is really good

Da Lat Quan is a White Center gem. I get take out here frequently and it's always delicious. I want to branch out, but my rotation seems to be Banh Xeo (if you have never had this crepe style dish, do it!), some kind of Bun dish, and Mi Quang (I am mildly obsessed with this dish and like Banh Xeo, want to taste it everywhere I go). The restaurant is pleasant enough for eating in, I just haven't done so as much since the pandemic. Whether you eat in or take out, don't miss this place! read more

Have you ever had foods that immediately put you in great mood? My friends and I experienced that today at Da Lat Quan. I was told that the Beef Combination Hot Pot here was very good so we gave it a try. The amount of food was very generous! There were 3 of us who were all very hungry and we couldn't finish the pot. It could feed 4-5 people easily. I've been to many Vietnamese restaurants and I don't see this kind of generosity very often. In term of flavors, it was tasty in every bite. The vegetables were fresh, the sauce was delicately yummy, and the broth was fantastic! In the hot pot, you'll find a combination of beef balls, beef tails, beef tribe, flank, tendon, etc. They were cooked to the perfect tenderness. Oh did I mention the service is exceptional here? You gotta try! read more

TMI WARNING I ordered food from here on the 12/05/2021 it was delivered to me by Uber. This was the only thing I ate that day and I believed there was some cross contamination.. I do honestly believe there was some bug poison that got into the food... I'm perfectly healthy never had health issues like this before. Literally was pooping blood no history of ulcers or anything else that may cause vomiting or bleeding in the stomach... I know for a fact it was THIS restaurant that caused my sickness for the past 4 days. Thank goodness for amazing healthcare workers. read more

Great food, good attention to the details of the garments to keep the food great and authentic. We had Bun Bo and Mi Quang! Love them!!!

After attending the Yelp Elite event at Sooth Park with my wife, we wanted some Asian food. We just drive around to hangout and ended up in White Center, my old neighborhood. Very few shops still open at that time. We stopped at this place. I ordered the Nam Vang noodle, dry version, but ended up need to put the broth in the bowl to make soup to get me some flavor. My wife ordered the Beef Spicy Noodle soup. She was pretty happy with her soup. I think I got short changed. The menu says it comes with minced pork and quail eggs. Unfortunately, none of those items were in my bowl. I gave them the benefit of doubt. Perhaps, it was an honest mistake by the cook. The service was pretty good. I am giving them extra credit for the service. read more

I ordered from this place a bunch of time through UberEATS and dine in more than four times since they open . I am used to be impressed with the food here but not anymore . This last time is unacceptable. The price is up but the quantity decrease . the flavor wise is inconsistent depends on your luck . This time flavor is good but my mi quang has only four tiny lil pieces of pork rib and I ordered with no prawn and xtra broth but I got less broth than usual. Bo la lot is good juicy and good portion. Not sure if I still gonna order this any more cause it's not worth what you pay fo read more

Really unique and authentic Vietnamese food. It was my first time trying da lat food and I was not disappointed. For apps, we got the tom cuon hanh la and bo la lot. Also delicious. The food also came out fast and I enjoyed listening to the love ballads heh. Would come back to try more stuff. read more

I had the Quang Nam Noodle Soup. It was OK, but my noodles were hard. The broth was flavorful. Admittedly, this can be a hard dish to perfect. check this place out if you're in white center! found this spot on eatr and ordered some items to go. a great place to get vietnamese noodle soups if you want to branch out from the normal pho menu. We ordered the #1 and #3 off their specials and enjoyed both. Some unique ingredients were quail eggs, short rib, and liver (not a big fan tbh) but the broth, herbs and noodles were on point. the duck noodle soup had lots of tender bamboo shoots and sweet duck broth and a nice fish sauce for the duck. read more

I've been eating here since they've started and had to post another review again today because their Pork Banh Mi is bomb dot com. It's jam packed and the baguette is freshly made, crispy, and fluffier than the surrounding area. Also get the F out with the customer service B.S. Anyone who's anyone knows darn well you don't go to a viet establishment for the service. ESPECIALLY at this price point. It's cheap af. Luckily, staff is friendly so I don't know what people are talking about. Service is fast and food is good. Seating looks like it's at COVID capacity and staff wears mask I also had the Da Lat Quan special, Bun Bo Hue (central viet spicier cousin to pho. Some say BETTER), Com Thit Nuong (pork spare ribs rice place or chicken or whatever protein), and they're all tasty. This isn't the owners first restaurant and it shows. read more

Customer service and food quality were equally poor. As a Vietnamese, I've been exposed to lots of delicious dishes our country has to offer, but this place doesn't do it justice. The food either was too salty, bland, or lacked depth. Pretty sure the waiters were aware that we barely touched our meal, but didn't bother checking in on us. Overall an underwhelming experience a restaurant could offer... explains why they were empty during lunch on the weekend. We ordered more food, but it wasn't worth taking pics. read more

Amazing restaurant. Food was outstanding. Fried quail appetizer is a tasty meal in itself.
