What a treat! I came here to grab a caramel iced latte, and it was delicious! I finished it before my ice could even melt, which is unusual for me. I met the owner who is behind the counter and she was exceptionally fun, cute and the kind of small biz owner I luv to patronize, if I lived in Hawaii. This coffee shop is not bad! My sister recommended this coffee shop since she couldn't stop raving about how good their cold brews were. Unfortunately, I was not a fan of theirs. To me, their cold brew had a very sour aftertaste that I didn't enjoy. Though my sister continued ordering their cold brews, I tried their matcha lattes, turmeric lattes, and their bulletproof coffee. Everything else tasted pretty good. It was a night-and-day difference between the taste of their cold brews and their other espresso drinks. It's been years since I've had bulletproof coffee and I was surprised and impressed that they had it on their menu. I had to order it. I was so excited that I burned my tongue... The pain wasn't worth it, but I would still recommend ordering it if you haven't tried it before. It doesn't taste that strong, but it'll help you wake up. My favorite drink from Da HI was their turmeric latte. They blend a good amount of turmeric and honey with milk then topped it off with some espresso shots. Delicious and not too sweet! Service was fast and friendly due to the number of staff hustling to get through all the orders. Prices are a little bit on the higher side, but it's worth it if you're in the area. read more

Unfortunately not my favorite.... Coffee had too much water and not enough coffee flavor. Also tasted like yesterday's batch reheated. The breakfast burrito was subpar and the salsa on the side had a bit of "acidic" "bubbly" sensation meaning it's old and not fresh. Best part of the experience was the lady working the counter and the fact it was open earlier than most places. read more

Came by at 7 when they opened, there was only one other customer in the store. It took 35 minutes for them to make 2 drinks and 2 sandwiches. I understand food takes time, but unfortunately, the food wasn't even that great. Neither was the espresso. So it felt like a waste. Honestly didn't spect surprise surprise... i would say is one of those little hole in a wall nice type of place, great food, great service and great price. When we travel we try different restaurants and food places but this place is nice for a nice breakfast, conveniently located in Waikiki near the hotels and shops all within walking distance. I actually reallly liked this place in the beginning. I am in love with their chai. But I am not sure if they have new people, but I went today. This is the second time it happened when I asked for a chai but the woman made me a matcha. It was nice of her to make it again with the right order but both drinks tasted disgusting, Chai tasted like water and matcha was so bitter and gross. I've never left a review like this but I don't think all people should work at a coffee shop if they don't have the skill to make good drinks. I think she should stick to cashier because drinks here are expensive, and was really disappointed in how my drink tasted. This woman had thick curly hair. To be honest, the guy that works there and the owner make it really good so be careful who's making your coffee when you go. read more

Great spot for coffee. I tried the iced white mocha and green tea latte. It is a bit hidden inside a building. There are signs outside on the street to direct you in. I found it better than the hotel coffee shop or some restaurant. It's a perfect pick me up at 7am. They ladies were super nice and the store has a nice warm feeling inside. This is one of my favorite coffee shops close to the beach but not right in the center of the strip. Easy walk from the ilikai and then I walk Waikiki beach with my cold brew in hand. I wish they knew the ingredients to the simple syrup - I have food allergies and would have liked some. They offered to text the owner but I just opted to have the coffee black. I would recommend they source different brands of alternative non-dairy milks. Right now they use brands that have a lot of stuff that isn't needed. I have a soy allergy and all of their alternative milks had soy derivatives in them. If they found cleaner alternative milks this would definitely make them a 5 star shop. I walked by this place several times and decided to have breakfast here. I had already had enough coffee so I only got food. The employees were very friendly and helpful. It's a small spot but they do have tables outside (in the shade) that they will bring your order to. I got the avocado toast and added an egg. It was absolutely beautiful, the presentation was lovely. It was very tasty too. I really enjoyed the micro greens and crumbled feta. I will definitely come back here again. read more

Came here for coffee and a breakfast crunch wrapped based on reviewers but definitely disappointed in the overpriced bullet proof with watery coffee. Breakfast crunch wrap sausage was still cold! Definitely a frozen sausage patty and kraft cheese. Kids said it taste like a McDonald's burrito except McDonald's isn't frozen. Super disappointing pick on an island filled with great choices. The place is quiet for a nice cup of coffee first thing in the morning.   I got a cold brew to go, not my favorite.  It might have been the vanilla flavor that i put it in.  Would have to try that again. I ordered the breakfast burrito which was full of scrambled egg, not much potato or meat. It came with a side of sour cream and salsa which was okay. Pretty good local cafe near where I was staying. I unfortunately did not get any coffee so I can't comment on that, but the food was pretty good. We ordered the breakfast burritos and a fruit cup. I couldn't bring myself to purchase a $7 fruit cup from ABC Store just down the street, but I thought their fruit cup here was absolutely worth it. Only $3 for a cup of really delicious grapes, strawberries, blueberries, and banana. As for the burritos: they were good, but nothing that makes them stand out from others. I will say though: I was the only person there at the time, and the burritos took a long time to make. The girl told me it's because their machine is slow (I'm guessing their toaster).... So just be prepared to wait a while if you order any hot breads. read more

This is a hidden gem on the busy strip. Don't pass up on the opportunity to eat or drink here. It's a cute little hole in the wall inside of the plaza. Once you enter, you're greeted with a wonderful staff. Charming atmosphere and the wonderful vibrant Feeling of a local establishment. This is the one place where I ever had a flat white. After trying her iced coffee the first day, my girlfriend and I fell in love with the taste and aroma. To the point that we would try to start our morning with her coffee since our Airbnb was right across the street. If you're desperate to get some real coffee and real food (after being offered nothing but Starbucks at your hotel in Waikiki) then this is the place for you. Seems tucked away inside a mall and not an obvious choice at first but once you get there you'll find a great coffee shop run by real people who care about the food and coffee they make. We had a mochi waffle (fried right in front of us) and some macadamia coffee that was by far the best coffee I had on the island. I'd walk the walk from my hotel each morning to this place.
