I paid for the Freon gas that had a fluorescent dye in case it leaks the next day. The next day my refrigerant was empty again and I took it back and they found the leak behind my dashboard. Which meant the whole dashboard needed to be taken off to replace the AC evaporator. They gave me their bid and a turnaround time of about a week since they wanted to make sure the job was done correctly. On top of that they found that my brake pads needed to be replaced which i let them replace. Overall I didn't go with them for the ac evaporator job since I found another shop that was cheaper and gave me a faster turn around time, however I felt that they were honest and genuinely tried to help me. Nothing bad to say about this shop.

We went driving around to see what shops we found. Im really big on vibes and so when i spoke to a few mechanics I didn't feel comfortable with them. I wanted a place that wasnt overly expensive but that did a great job. After stopping at a few shops we saw this one and stopped. My first impression was 50's vibe lol Its like a small historic museum with a lot of retro items. The person I spoke to came across as a "no bs" type of guy. I heard him talking to the person in front of me and although I was a bit intimidated I felt that he would be honest and felt a good vibe. He was very professional. The communication was excellent. Service was quick. And they explained what needed to be done in a way I understood. The receipt they give is very detailed which I loved. I have since got a new car but if i ever need a mechanic, i would come here!

After following his directive this shop told me ah, must be the transmission and I don't do transmission work. So, I got on my phone and searched for transmission specialist close to me(in La Mirada) A whole list came out, I check many, read the reviews, and this one came out to check, Full Service Auto Repairs 14747 Artesia Blvd Ste 3D La Mirada, CA 90638 714-357-8369 I called and Francis answered, I explained him the issue, and he says I must inspect the vehicle to give you a diagnosis. Do you need towing service to bring the car. So my vehicle was towed to his location that Wednesday afternoon. On Saturday morning Francis contacted me and asked me, "Who replaced your front axle drive shaft? I had it replaced on September the 3rd. Francis informed, me they install the wrong drive shaft. To make it really short, Francis asked me the information of the repair shop that worked in my vehicle. From there he took over, contacted the repair shop owner, explained what he found and caused damages in my car transmission and directly dealed with the other shop. Fortunately, the other shop that replaced the drive shaft, took full responsibility for the repairs needed (drive shaft replacement and transmission repair). Now we must understand this, here is a shop owner communicating directly with other shop owner, something that you will not get from any other Full Service Auto Repairs shop, all in behave of a client. Francis handled this like only a man of God and a person who love and honor his profession, will have done, with total honesty! I picked my Avalon 2007 today afternoon, after business hours, Francis was waiting for me. He handled me a receipt copy for over $6,600 that include 12 months or 12k miles Parts and Labor (he used original Toyota parts). Asked me to signed and release the vehicle to me. He replaced the radiator and water pump, repositioned the external transmission cooler, and replaced the tail housing gasket on the transmission. My truck has never run cooler transmission temps than it does now. Francis is very knowledgeable and actually understands how these older trucks heat up when you're towing or sitting in traffic. He explained what he was doing and why instead of just slapping parts on. If you need cooling or transmission work done right, take it to Francis.

I got a few quotes before deciding to bring my 2014 Prius Plug-in here, and I'm really glad I did…read more They weren't the cheapest and they weren't the most expensive, but I felt like they charged what they needed to in order to get the job done I had no idea they even worked on hybrids because I never saw that mentioned anywhere, and I think more people should know. They took the time to explain the repair, confirmed the diagnostic code, and even pointed out a few things I should do to help my Prius last longer. They noticed my hybrid battery cooling fan was missing after I told them I just had it "replaced" at another shop. That's the kind of information you don't usually get from a repair shop. They ended up not needing to drop the subframe, so they adjusted the labor instead of charging me for work they didn't have to do. It still took the amount of time they said it was going to take, but still discounted me a little bit which I thought was cool. I also had them do an oil change while it was there, and even that was less expensive than what I normally pay at places like Jiffy Lube or Valvoline. If you own a Prius or any hybrid, I'd definitely recommend checking them out. More than anything, I left feeling like they genuinely know these cars and took the time to educate me, not just fix it. I'll definitely be bringing my Prius back if I ever need anything else.
