Way to set the nail standard. Came in for a manicure and pedicure. My pedicure was the relax one off of the menu (highest prices pedicure) which includes the paraffin wax for your feet as well as scrub and the callous removal. I was impressed with KC who took care of my feet. Her massages are well done and she isn't just rubbing. Her massages make my feet less sore and she really knows where to dig in the muscle. Felt amazing. For my manicure, Tina took care of my dip. I got my nails dipped and let me tell you something.... her work is meticulous. She shaped them so perfect and was very detailed with her work. She took her time in perfecting my nails and I cannot wait to show them off now. I wanted the natural look and she gave me exactly what I asked for. This salon is wonderful and the music is relaxing. The massage chairs are extremely comfortable and they can give a great back massage! I think it would be great if they offered an active duty military discount! Will recommend to all of my peers. Thank you for a relaxing Thursday. read more

Once again I leave feeling great! I love coming to this spot. Three must haves in finding the perfect nail shop: 1. Quality product and application. Product doesn't crack and maintains a vibrant look well over 2 two weeks. This is only possible when application is seamless, as done here. 2. Consistency. I don't worry about who is going to do my nails if I walk in because every single person has mad skills and delivers above expected work. 3. Genuine joy in service. These gals are the best. They welcome you with smiles, offer complimentary beverages such as mimosas and wine. They even have a personal nail color selecting assistant who always nails it! I am so happy with this place I moved and drive an extra 5 miles to get there but it's worth it!! read more

STOP!! Before you read all these rude ass comments, look at this set! Its not often i get my nails done. Maybe once a year. But this by far is my favorite set ive gotten! D'Zire Nails - Short acrylic, almond shape, green cat eye nail polish - Nail Salons Near Me - Austin, Texas

After reading Sarah P.'s review, I decided it was high time I went and got my first manicure. How have I never done this before? Manicures are magical things. If I had known, I might have gotten one sooner! Seriously - my hands and arms are terrifically soft. Service, from beginning to end, was terrific. The owners, Jack and Minnie, are incredibly sweet - they offered me something to drink several times and they continually made sure I was comfortable. They were also highly attentive to detail. Both of them checked and rechecked my nails to make sure they were turning out okay and when Jack found a slight imperfection on one, he redid it. I'm the type of girl who loves painting her nails - I have a ridiculous collection of nail polish and my nails are always painted. I like to think I'm pretty decent at it, but there is no way I could make my nails look this fabulous. Jack was also telling me he can do any kind of nail art I wanted - something I will definitely take advantage of in the future. I received only a basic manicure, but I left feeling like a rock star, and it only set me back $15, not including tip. Say whaaat? I can get some stellar nails and wonderful smelling hands and arms for less than $20? You better believe I'm going to be back for more. Thank you, Sarah P., for alerting me to this place and thank you, D'Zire Nails for providing excellent service. I cannot recommend this business highly enough. read more

D'Zire Nails - My first manicure was a great success. - Nail Salons Near Me - Austin, Texas

This was a five star experience top to bottom. Things you need to know about D'Zire: 1. The staff/owners are awesome - friendly, welcoming (they offered me a drink as soon as I walked in), and they're happy to chat or do your nails quietly - you set the tone. They speak English well, which may not matter much for a simple mani/pedi but very important when you're getting nail art and trying to communicate what you want via abstract ideas or concepts. 2. It is super clean and modern with comfy chairs not just for pedis but at mani stations too. 3. They are talented - they told me multiple times that they could do any kind of nail design I could dream up - just to let them know what I wanted. At the end, they showed me some pics of the work they did at their previous salon in California and it was very intricate and impressive. Not only are they great at their designs, but they were meticulous with the application and shaping of my acrylics (I got rounded stiletto tips - see photo section).By the end my nails looked perfect and were exactly what I'd asked for. And they checked in multiple times to make sure I was getting what I wanted and that I was liking how the nails were turning out. 4. They are gracious - they thanked me many times for coming to check them out and wanted to know how I found them. They respect the power of Yelp and have a sign up asking to review if you like them. I like business that understands how powerful Yelp is... and at no time did they try to "buy" a review, even when I told them that I'm an avid Yelper. My tech, Jack, I believe his name was, was doing an awesome, meticulous job long before he found out I was on Yelp. I don't give out five stars easily but this was a great experience and I'm 100% pleased with the results. I urge you to check this place out, whether you're looking for fancy nail designs or just a simple mani/pedi. Oh, and the fab nails/nail design only cost $33. This is my new place for nails! You know a place is good when you're eager to write them a long-winded review even with newly applied pointy talons that make typing a bit of a chore :) read more

I love this place!!! It's so amazing, they always seem to have time to fit me in, instead of so many other nail salons that just saying yes they have time and when I come in, I end up having to wait way past my scheduled time and end up get upset or just leave. That DID NOT happen here, nor does it ever. Elizabeth is the sweetest and she always is so helpful with finding the perfect color to get for your nails. Every other place I go to, they always make me feel rushed to pick out a color so badly that I just pick one of my "safe" colors and always end up regretting it. At D'Zire nails they not only don't rush you, they help you out, even by painting a fake tip nail to show me what the color would look like outside of the bottle. It was amazing. Also, I have asked so many other nail shops to explain the difference in all the options of shellac and acrylic and THIS PLACE ACTUALLY told me the difference and turned me onto the dip powder that keeps my nails healthy and feels light and I love it!!!! Highly recommend place is addicting!!!! read more

This nail salon was beyond phenomenal!! Elaine & Lynn were quick, professional, diligent, and did exactly what I asked for and was wanting! The salon is quiet, cute, clean, and was accompanied by a glass of champagne while I got pampered! I will definitely be returning soon & making this salon one of my first go-to's!!!!! D'Zire Nails - short natural look with SNS! - Nail Salons Near Me - Austin, Texas

***UPDATED REVIEW*** I'm updating this strictly on the frustration level with dealing with the owner/management of this place. First, I get a comment that they're offering me a chance to come back, which promptly disappears. Then I get the meandering response that has nothing to do with my complaints that you can see below. Here are the facts: 1) The paraffin is, I'm sure, nice quality. You pay 5-7 at most places and this place charges 10. I have no interest in comments about changing it out, the bags, etc. I'm sure you guys are clean, but you're pricey. 2) Taking two hours to do a gel mani and a basic pedi is absurd. That is not due to me being antsy- I got antsy AFTER sitting there for an hour and a half and getting subpar service. 3) There is a difference between taking my phone to briefly look at a design and grabbing it, demanding the passcode, and walking away with it for ten full minutes. There's normal and there's uncomfortable. 4) My nails were crap. I'm sorry, but a gel mani that was lifting within TWO HOURS of coming home is ridiculous. I was forced to peel most of it off by day two because, as you can see in the picture, the tips were peeling off on all but two nails. I drove twenty minutes to try this place. Those services cost me NINETY dollars, with tip, and I tipped generously. Twenty percent DESPITE the poor service, the long wait, the insane music, and the rude guy doing my nails. Including gas I was out a cool 100 dollars thanks to this fiasco. Customer service, properly done, would say a refund is in order, not a lecture. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Maybe I came on an off day? Don't get me wrong- my nails look beautiful. Twenty extra bucks later and hands and feet are also softer thanks to paraffin treatments. But twenty bucks for that? Wow. This experience could have been great, except for a few major tiffs. 1) the music is insanely loud in here. I was trying to read quietly and kept having to reread thanks to the blaring of what sounded like the Mulan soundtrack. 2) It took me over two hours for a gel manicure (shellac) and pedicure. I was so damn antsy to get out of there! 3) My nail guy was brusque and sometimes very frustrating. At one point, while my hands were covered in paraffin, he insisted on my pass code for my phone so he could look up the picture the whole time for the design I wanted. Then he grabbed my phone and walked away with it for several minutes to show another girl. He kept trying to get me to talk him through looking through the app on my phone. I finally just asked him to put my phone down and take the paraffin off so I could do it. It was kind of a frustrating experience. In the end, I was out 90 bucks (including tip) for a basic pedi and a gel mani plus paraffin on both. That's steep. And for well over two hours, not very fun. ** as of one day later two of my nails are bubbled with the shellac coming off. I'm pissed. read more

I called and had an appointment for 11:30 for a fill and a pedicure. My pedicure went well, at first. When I got home I realized that my toes were not painted all the way. My fill was an absolute disaster!!!!! The guy who did my nails couldn't get the shape right, which really shouldn't have been an issue because they were just round! Hello......VERY basic stuff. Half my nails were the wrong shape, different lengths and crooked. He stepped on my toes and screwed up my pedicure. When I told him that I wasn't happy with the shape and asked him to fix them he kept yanking my arm and hands around. He was almost aggressive. It was so bad another lady had to come and "fix" them. She basically had to rebuild my nails with acrylic. So....now the shape was back to "normal" and we're on to polish. I didn't want anything crazy. I wanted 2 nails red, 1 blue, 1 white and one with a rainbow. The rainbow looks like a kid did it. The worst part was it took 4 hours!!!!!! 4 hours for a pedicure and a fill. They didn't offer me any compensation, took nothing off the bill for the crap job they did or even apologize for the horrible experience. However these young pretty girls were there at the same time and one of them couldn't get the ombré nails she wanted and they gave her a $10 gift certificate. So basically I spent $100 for the worst mani pedi experience I've EVER had. If I could give them no stars I would. I'm tempted to call and speak to the owner. BEWARE OF THIS PLACE-GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!!! read more

Terrible service, unprofessional and rude staff , and every time I have come in they do terrible job the polish will chip, they file your nails too short, the results don't look clean or Even oh and don't bother trying to Correct them because you will be in for a rude awakening. They have TONS of shellac colors, glitter, and options. Didnt get a design this time, but I will when I come back. $35 for the better pedicure. Although I will stick the regular pedicure because the leg skin mask made me cold. $30 for the shellac manicure. The edges od the polish around my nails arent the most precise I have had done before, but very livable. Had a conpliment on my nails already. The thickness of the shellac manicure is great, lasting and trumps the polish accuracy. Previous poster nailed it with cheesy 80's and 90's music. I love it! Not only were my girlfriend and I singing along, so was the staff...quietly....LOL. Easy parking, nice massage chairs, great variety in regular nail polish and shellac......I am going back. Next time im going to add fun designs..... $5 for two nails. SOLD! read more

This is a wonderful place to go if you want to feel totally welcome and if you want to feel a little pampered. We just moved to Texas and I finally had the time to get my nails and toes done. So needed to feel pampered a bit and they did just that. I went in with just an 'idea' of what I wanted (Fall/Halloween design that my 2nd graders would really like) and while I had my hands and feet soaking, etc., they were looking up different designs to do...and I love how fun they are! I hate writing negative reviews especially because everyone is very nice but this is the second time I've come with no consideration for my time. The first time I called pre-hand and let them know I had to leave by a certain time and asked if I should come earlier for my appointment. I tend to avoid nail salons like the plague, simply for the fact that every salon I've been to never gets it right. Maybe it's me? Who knows. However, my first trip to D'Zire Nails was a positive one indeed. The place was packed, but they got to me as quickly as possible and I didn't mind the short wait. Jack the owner is constantly keeping an eye to make sure anyone who's waiting gets a seat, fast. Did I mention the complimentary wine? Or beer, if you prefer. Jack has done my nails twice before, and he is so incredibly talented. Although my nails are usually 1-2 colors max, the designs he has done on my friends are always spectacular! I'm so glad I referred then to this place, cause they are now coming more often than I do and still thank me for it. read more

I have been going to this salon since the beginning of this year and I have loved it. I have had a couple of experiences there that weren't the best but overall I'm satisfied. There are little things that bother me about this place. I originally came here because of the 15% off they offered on yelp (very sad they took it off). One technician I've dealt with is extremely rude and I hate when I get her. This most recent time my technician was nice but it took 2 hours to do my nails. I think it's crazy to charge $5 to just do a certain shape of nail. Now that the 15% is gone i don't know if it's really worth the price. My nails look amazing but $50 is kind of crazy, especially for a 2 hour job that has been done in a lot shorter of time. I think I will only continue to go if I schedule with Nu because she has been the best technician they have! read more

Tried this place on a recommendation from a friend. I made an appointment there because it was a weekend. The place was pretty dingey inside which gave me pause but went ahead and got seated. I waited for the better part of 30 minutes for my pedicure to start. I was sitting for so long the water got cold that my feet were in. After awhile I just left. Not sure what the point was of making an appointment but didn't want to spend 90 minutes - 2 hours just trying to get a pedicure. Especially when it wasn't the nicest environment to relax in. For all I know they give the best pedicures in town but I'll never know since I didn't have all afternoon to figure out. read more

I'm a regular at this place but won't be going back. I went in to get a mani/pedi and was unhappy about the shape of my nails so I asked politely if they could fix them. They left me sitting with acetone on my nails for 30 minutes and then came back to me saying they didn't have time to do my nails since a lot of new people had walked in, even though I had been there long before anyone else showed up. Completely stripped my nails from the acetone. Never again. read more

My wife went there and enjoyed her pedicure. She said that there wasn't much of a wait, especially for a Saturday, and she liked the leg massage and the leg mask that comes with the pedicure. The only thing that she didn't like was that they are always trying to upsell you on everything, which can be very irritating at times. People generally know what they want to get done, prior to going to a nail salon. To be asked repeatedly about adding on other different services can get annoying. But all-in-all it was a nice experience for her. read more

I have no idea how this place has a four star rating. After making appointments ahead of time, my sister-in-law and I came in a few mins before our appointments. We picked out colors and proceeded to wait 15 mins post appointment time to be seated, where we waited another half hour with our feet in the tubs before anyone came over to start our mani/pedis. I showed the technician a picture from their own yelp of what I wanted done and she just gave me a color ring and told me to pick. After being moved from one seat to another a man came over to finish my process and I had to explain all over again what I wanted (opaque white/ whole nail) they both insisted it was a much more complicated and expensive process ombré French manicure. No, that's not what I want! just opaque white, no pink. I get this at other places all the time, I even showed them pictures of my own nails done this way. Well, now my nails are ridiculously thick poorly shaped with thick white polish with a layer of pink on top. I will never go here again. Not only did they not do a good job they were not very nice. read more

I have been going to this salon for 4-5 years now. I have always loved it because they have a wide variety of gel nail colors to choose from. The salon is normally buzzing and people are friendly. I get my nails done every 3 weeks. I have been through a few management transitions and some have started rocky, but this is the first time that I have ever thought to leave them. Today I walked in and the layout had been completely changed. They went from 6 nail stations to 3. They removed several of their spa chairs. When I asked for an SNS nail change they asked if I had an appt. I told them no. I have never made an appt in 5 years, I have been walking in as my schedule permits every 3 weeks. It was 3:30 and they asked if I could come back at 6 as all of their walk in spots were booked. There were 4 patrons in the store (clearly the rest had been chased away). I told her that I had been coming for years and the woman was not accommodating at all. The reason that I am writing this review or to let everyone know that this store has been a 5 star establishment in the past but the new management does not care about customer service or long term customers which is a shame considering the locations previous reputation. It clearly was not staffed to allow for the level of service that people are accustomed to. Such a shame because I have always loved this place. read more

I LOVED COMING HERE! I came after reading a bunch of awesome reviews and decided to make an appointment when I had free time very last minute. After having one bad experience with a salon doing my acrylics, I was skeptical I'd have another. Last place I went to, I got yelled at for wanting to do stilettos instead of squares because 'they'd make me look much older than I am.' Only 16. I'm fine with looking older especially when I'm cooped up inside most of the time with my arthritis. I came in, and was seated right away and within 10 minutes, the very nice man (who I mistakingly didn't ask the name of) was started. He spent a good amount of time to make sure he got the exact shape I wanted and he got it spot on to the picture I brought in. And unlike the last place I went to, I came out and did not have a single cut. I am very happy with the job he did because after I took them off, I don't have an indentation where the nail ended and I'm living with multiple strong layers of nails left instead of just one. I will be coming back. :) read more
