I was barred from entering the show room until I told the (very rude) receptionist why I was there! When I explained what I was looking for I was told "we don't have that" and then she proceeded to turn around and deal with someone else who apparently deserved attention more. I asked another employee where the sinks were located and I was shooed away and told "over there" as she gestured to an entire side of the showroom. Every time I ran into an employee here I was not asked if I needed help, I wasn't even greeted or smiled at - instead I was given a smug "smile" if you could call it that and was asked to move out of the way. I have been to many high end design showrooms with price points much higher than Ferguson and have never been treated like this. I understand that making an appointment is the ideal way of doing business, however there needs to be a way to accommodate customers without treating them like trash. Whoever is in charge of the sales floor - I hope you read this and I hope some changes are made.

When you walk into Ferguson with its gleaming showroom and countless options for your home and…read morekitchen, it's difficult to understand the one-star and two-star reviews online. Upscale options and tremendous variety abound! But when you're not visiting just to gawk, and you're genuinely attempting to assemble components for your soon-to-be refurbished home bathrooms, you begin to see the shortcomings of Ferguson. Despite numerous employees, forget anyone helping you because you'll soon discover that all the other customers have "made a reservation." Okay, that's an easy issue to solve in the future. Without a "reservation" we were encouraged to scan QR codes for each display to determine available finishes, prices, and measurements. But not even the most modern phones could scan the world's tiniest QR codes throughout the store. The lighting is odd within the store, so significant that you cannot clearly determine whether the color or finish you're considering would look appropriate in your bathroom at home. All of their competitor's stores are sufficiently lit. As we looked for a top to our bathroom vanity, we learned Ferguson doesn't sell vanity tops. They only sell the entire vanity. We have seven-foot-long bathroom vanities in all of our bathrooms like everyone else in our neighborhood does. It's not unusual. However, Ferguson's vanities apparently max out at six feet, so this was obviously no use to us. And don't even get us started on how convoluted the Ferguson website is! We ended up designing our two remodeled bathrooms at a different store.

For the most part this is your standard BB&B location, nothing more nothing less. The store is always in good condition, clean and well stocked. I do like that you never see boxes on the floor waiting to be stocked, if there is a box on the floor, there is an Associate actively working it. All the products are great, some overpriced, but some well priced. They do run good sale prices that match up with Amazon most of the time, so I have scooped up a few items here instead of hitting up Prime. The only negative to this location is the service, or lack thereof. It's not due to short staffing, it is due to the staff not being helpful, available or interested in assisting. Several times I have had to walk back up to the register to get assistance, and the times where I found an Associate on the floor, she seemed agitated that I needed assistance. 75% of the time, I am greeted when I walk in, but beyond that initial greeting, service is abysmal. Overall, good location, clean and well kept store with lackluster service.

I did see her hanging out with a designer and other team member, I'm glad the designer received assistance. I will not be back. I will not recommend to anyone. My assumption is they don't need the business. I can see how they have a good review from a designer as they were giving that individual quite a bit of attention. While majority of the items were aged quite a bit, it did appear that they had some new build doors and such if that is what you are after. Honestly, I think 50% of the inventory is doors of some variety, and I wasn't mad it! It is such a cool space to wander around for a bit. We stopped by looking for antique furniture and while they have a few pieces, that is not what this place is about. Even though we didn't find what we were after, it was cool to wander up and down the hallways and through the maze of rooms scoping out the goods...we really loved some of the windows and lights they have hanging around. We used Builder Supply Source for our cabinets in a kitchen renovation project we just finished,…read moreand the cabinets turned out great. More than that? The cabinets we ended up with are extra custom. We wanted a more modern kitchen than I expect is very common in Nashville (several cabinetry companies our contractor typically works with could only give us Shaker cabinets, which isn't what we wanted), but Builder Supply Source had flat panel cabinets, which is the modern look we wanted. When they didn't have the exact stain color we wanted, they worked with us to create some samples based on some Pinterest/Houzz pictures I sent over. A few days after I sent the photos over, we had four samples at our house. We really liked three of them, narrowed it down to two, and finally picked one. I really appreciated that they were willing to work with us to get the color just right! We had a few little issues (one small panel of wood came slightly scratched up), but Builder Supply Source took care of everything. We worked with Will, who was great from our first meeting with him (we were in his office for about an hour talking about options and coming up with the best cabinet layout). And - at the end of the project - we're just in love with our cabinets (as well as with the hardware we ordered through Builder Supply Source). They were great to work with and the final product is exactly what we wanted. I don't think we would have ended up with the kitchen we had in our minds if it weren't for Builder Supply Source!
