This Bed Bath & Beyond is located on Highway 70 in the heart of Bellevue and sits in the same shopping plaza as Planet, Fitness and Petco. For the most part this is your standard BB&B location, nothing more nothing less. The store is always in good condition, clean and well stocked. I do like that you never see boxes on the floor waiting to be stocked, if there is a box on the floor, there is an Associate actively working it. All the products are great, some overpriced, but some well priced. They do run good sale prices that match up with Amazon most of the time, so I have scooped up a few items here instead of hitting up Prime. The only negative to this location is the service, or lack thereof. It's not due to short staffing, it is due to the staff not being helpful, available or interested in assisting. Several times I have had to walk back up to the register to get assistance, and the times where I found an Associate on the floor, she seemed agitated that I needed assistance. 75% of the time, I am greeted when I walk in, but beyond that initial greeting, service is abysmal. Walking into this location, it possessed none of the inviting settings of other locations. This location, in fact, more resembled a bargain blow out type place. There must be some mistake! I never went to a Bed Bath and Beyond! I've been trying to avoid going there for years! The Better Half and I have no end to jokes about her trying to get me to go! Why would I ever? Oh, I bought a House, that's right... BB&B is one of those evil stores packed tight with things you didn't know you needed. From Spice Racks to Bed Trays and everything in between. It excels and having lots of things you didn't know you needed or wanted and the upside down U shape of the store forces you to look at everything between the Entrance and the Exit before you leave. We came for 1 thing and left with 2 things. I don't know what the multiplier is usually, but like "eating just one" chip, BB&B dares you to leave with just what you came for. read more

This store has TONS of household items. It's like the Walmart for your house. There were several curtain and rod items I couldn't find, and Linda helped. She was able to locate most of the items in the back of the store or in the wrong place. The items they didn't have in stock, she ordered for me, and they are going to deliver straight to my door. Linda informed me that their coupons you receive in the mail can actually be used even after their expiration date so I won't be throwing those old ones away anymore! Heidi helped me check out, and she was super patient. It turns out my eyes were bigger than my wallet, and as the total kept creeping up, I started freaking out a little. She took several items off that she had already rang up with no complaints. I only take away 1 star because I feel some of the items are a bit overpriced, but Linda and Heidi made sure I had a wonderful experience here. My fiance and I visited Bed, Bath & Beyond to set up a wedding registry and, so far, I've been pretty happy with the process. The woman we worked with was great about answering my 1 million questions about different products but still gave us the space we needed to make our own decisions. As far as selection goes, I was pretty impressed. They have lots of higher end options (calphalon, le creuset, dyson) but also some more affordable ones. My only complaint with this place is the atmosphere. It's SO EASY to get overwhelmed/distracted/miss something but the place is filled (floor to ceiling) with products. I know that's kind of BB&B's shtick, but if they got rid of maybe 1/4 of the items it would be so much easier to navigate. The over-abundance of options made the process a bit chaotic. read more

Reason for four stars: Because they have really good customer service. I had to take care of returns and multiple purchases with a variety of coupons and they were patient and helpful! If it weren't for such good customer service, I would've given it 3 stars because the store is pretty small which limits the selection. I've been in plenty of BB&Bs in my lifetime and while normally they fill your head with "aspirational" dreams of how luxe your life could be, this place just filled me with a sinking sense of desperation. The whole vibe of the store was kind of dreary, and the place seemed packed to the gills with not just home outfitting things, but also random doodads that no one rightly needs and seemed out of place in the store (like the homeopathic bracelets that somehow promote longevity, or the huge bins of candy). I think the biggest way in which this BB&B failed was the staff. When my husband and I arrived, we went straight to the customer service counter because we needed to get our friends' bridal registry. There was only one extremely frazzled woman at the counter and she immediately told us to go to the checkout because she was in the middle of helping someone else (who had approximately 1000 coupons that she was using) and she was going to be a while. We said that we actually needed a registry and the signs suggested this was where we should be. She hollered over to a guy on cash about whether he could print out the registry for us, but he said he didn't know how. So she told us to wait, which we were more than happy to do. After another minute, however, she heaved a huge sigh and started paging other staff to come to the counter because she was "stuck with a customer and was going to be forever", which seemed slightly melodramatic and also kind of rude to the person she was working with. I should point out that my husband and I were not making a fuss about the wait, so I'm not sure where the whole sturm und drang vibe was coming from. When we did finally get the registry and the items we needed, we had to deal with this woman again and while she offered to gift-wrap the items for us, her whole demeanor suggested she'd really rather not and that if there was anyone she hated more than us, it was herself. Probably not the ideal candidate to staff the customer service area... The other issue I take with BB&B is that everything seems really overpriced here and if it weren't for the fact that our friends had registered for BB&B items, I probably wouldn't have bought anything. I could just as easily get products of equal quality at far cheaper prices at Target or online. I hope the Cool Spring location opens up again, because that one was way nicer (even if the prices are the same). read more

I have never seen worse customer service than in this store. I was looking for a window shade to fit a half circle window which of course is impossible to find anywhere. The website had it, the store didn't. That's not the issue. The issue is...I was greeted when I came in and I told the guy what I was looking for. He directed me to what I guess is the Beyond section, where the blinds are. He told me someone would meet me there to help me. No one met me there to help me. I waited 10 minutes. I finally went back to the original guy, who was there with 2 other guys unpacking boxes that were sprawled all through the aisles and talking about their plans for the weekend. Very professional, as you can see. He offered no apology, actually laughed about it. Then sent what I can only describe as a stoned high school dropout to help me. This kid didn't know his head from a hole in the ground, if you know what I mean. He then said we could order it, which I said sure, and I had to repeat my address 3 times for him to get it to register in his THC laced brain that he was not doing things right on the computer. That was weeks ago. Today I had a similar experience, with this same lovely child. Waited 10 minutes for his help, only for him to tell me they didn't have the item I was looking for. Multiple customers were also standing there looking for help. This place is where customer service goes to die. I don't recommend. read more

Lacking customer service in a MAJOR way. I stopped in here in need of several things. The first thing I noticed was that no one greeted me when I walked in. Yet, there were a few staff members standing around. I moved along and picked up a few things I needed. I was specifically looking for ramekins but the selection was very limited (looked like they were almost out of stock). At this point I couldn't locate a staff member for assistance so I moved on. I passed at least 3 other staff members yet not one said hello or asked if I needed assistance. The store was empty! It wasn't busy so this just baffled me. It was almost like the staff members were trying to avoid helping out a customer. I headed to checkout and the only open lane was at the customer service desk. There was a woman standing there just looking at me (no hi, hello or are you ready to check out?). So at this point I asked if I could check out and she said ok. I didn't have my 20% off coupon with me so I asked if they had any. She said they don't keep them in the store. (Totally understand that- my fault for leaving it at home). So I noticed a registration sheet at the counter that said "sign up for our email list and receive 20% off". I inquired about the offer and she said "they'll send you a coupon but it takes a few days". However, she did not ask me if I wanted to sign up. She just looked away and finished ringing up my order. So I paid, said thank you, and loaded my items in the cart. No "you're welcome or thank you" back. Just nothing! I spent a good amount of money here today. However, I will most definitely NOT be back for my future bed/bath/kitchen needs. read more
