Josh was very understanding of our problems, professional and thoughtful. He helped us finalize outstanding permits from the previous contractor - truly going above and beyond. First - reading the review prior to mine - I couldn't be more shocked. Our remodel was just finishing up as their project was starting and I strongly believe some of what is said below is wildly fabricated. Josh was nothing short of a consummate professional on our job. Did everything go perfect? No - does it ever on a major home renovation project? But Josh made sure every single issue was taken care of. Including when an electrician royally screwed up our wiring. Josh lost a lot of time and money having it redone and didn't even try to up-charge me for the difference despite the lost time, materials and re-do of the job by a new electrician. Even months after the job was done - he has come back to fix minor issues that pop up (grout fixes, etc) and has never charged us one extra penny. I have recommended Hastings to several friends and neighbors - including a friend who has them doing a full second story addition on their house right now and is very happy and our neighbor who runs a major house flipping company (tv show) and he has hired them on to help him as well. We will be having Josh and the boys back soon to remodel a bathroom for us. If anyone wants pictures or more info feel free to reach out to me. Remember that there are two sides to every story and Josh is being kind in his responses to the prior review. I'm the pickiest and most honest customer (just ask josh ha!) and we will work with Josh on any project we have.

I would definitely recommend bringing in a reputable builder to inspect a celebration home. The…read moresubs that they use are mediocre at best and crappy to be honest. I have owned my home for almost 2 years and have invested several thousand dollars trying to bring it into codes all the while being mocked and ridiculed by the builder because I was pointing out the flaws. From the electrician to the plumber to the painters and finishers they fell way short of what quality work is supposed to look and feel like. The only sub that got it right in my book is the HVAC contractor and he went out of his way to make sure my house was warm in the winter and cool in the summer. Shout out to Claud Heating and air conditioning. Everyone else involved in the build should have all their licenses revoked and be banned from ever being allowed to build much less sell another one of these houses. Good luck if you screwed up and bought a celebration home. The Carpet Den in Franklin,Tn. can't spell LVP much less lay it. The plumbing contractor wouldn't know how to lay a shower pan if he had a YouTube video to help and the electrician, oh my the electrician, I am betting they get electrocuted a lot on the job site. Timberland cabinets really needs classes on how to mount cabinets before they are allowed to quote another job seeing how I had to add blocking in because my cabinets were falling off the wall and they wanted to argue with me. I will add pictures if google allows me and if they don't just ask and I will gladly supply you with them. Good luck if you buy a Celebration Home, you will need it!

Would use him again without hesitation. Very knowledgable! Local to Kingston Springs.

Mr Faulkner was not the cheapest (somewhere in the middle) but we felt most comfortable with his company. Yes, he was busy, but I suppose most good contractors are this time of year. He finished, on Schedule, and we are thrilled with the results. Any small questions or concerns were addressed immediately. Hard to combine folksy wit and humor with knowledgeable professionalism, but he pulls it off. Not sure what previous reviewer had going on, but we were not asked for an estimate fee. Perhaps because we had used him before. Sounded like some miscommunication there. we had no such issues.

They were on my…read moreradar because they've helped my parents with at least two disastrous leaks in their home and did great work; they were reliable, got the job done, and even stuck to an original estimate when the project ended up costing significantly more than anticipated. So when our crawl space needed some work Jay with TriStar was one of the people I called to get an estimate from. Not only was he very responsive in coming out and giving an estimate, but his estimate was less than another well-known contractor I talked to. When I decided to wait for months before deciding to do the work, Jay was very professional about it and his original estimate still applied four months later. Once I hired him, the work went very smoothly. Jay is really easy to communicate with and he clearly communicated to me about what would be done and when, and stuck to it! The work was done well, on time and on budget. When there was a freak problem (a nail somehow got driven up from the crawl space through the hardwood floor in our living room), I texted Jay about it...he texted me back immediately and had someone at the house a couple days later to repair the issue, no questions asked. I can't even tell where the nail was now! I've heard horror stories about bad contractors who aren't reliable or responsible and are hard to get ahold of and communicate with...TriStar is the complete opposite of that. I'm so glad I chose them based on seeing their top notch work at my parents' home, because my experience was no different. I'd definitely recommend them.
