Food is great and staff is friendly and nice dining room. I would recommend this place and eat here quite a bit.

We eat a fair amount of Thai food and this was the best Thai dinner I've had. The Spicy Basil was excellent and the Pad Thai was excellent as well. They brought the spice, but it didn't overwhelm the palette. The restaurant is a little bit off the beaten path, but it is well worth it. They say they're closed on Sunday, but I would check in, just to make sure. It appears to be a family run operation so I wouldn't be shocked if they were open. I would encourage anyone to give D Thai a shot vs defaulting to the casino food or fast food in Mesquite. read more

My family ordered yellow and red curry with shrimp and chicken and Chow Mein with steamed tofu. Everything came out so fast and hot and it really hit the spot. Food: 5/5 we had the following two dishes and they were made perfect for the price range. The quality was great for the price range and the seasoning was off the charts. We tried a few dishes, starting with the appetizer called Bags of Gold (seriously, this is a MUST try), Orange Chicken (seriously, THE best Orange Chicken I've had in my life, hands down), Jasmine rice, Shrimp Chow Mein and Strawberry Mochi for dessert. This place is 100% must try in Mesquite! I know the locals have the idea too, because this place was packed!! I can't wait to return to Mesquite, not to just see my family. Third time trying this place as I love good Thai food. I also like to support local businesses. I liked a couple of dishes I'd tried before, but pretty ordinary overall. This time I ordered Penang also ordered some green curry and some drunken noodles. Nice that the curry dish came with a small side of rice. I was asked how spicy I'd like my dishes, they say from 1 - 10, 10 being the hottest. I said 6 or 6.5, I received a. 2 which was disappointing. Like I said, not exceptional in any way. Overall the food is ok, but they know they are the only Thai food in town.....would be much better if the prices weren't so high! ....(for the amount of food you get) I may try again, since like I said, the only Thai in town....but maybe I'll try a 9 on their spicy scale. read more

We ordered online while driving through Mesquite while on road trip. It was perfect. The food and the timing. When I walked in - the food was brought out fresh from the kitchen and it was hot! My husband had Pad Thai and I had pad see yew vegetarian. The whole experience end to end was minutes in ordering and 10 mins while driving to pick it up. Fantastic food with even better service. Our waitress helped us figure out what to order, the spiciness level we needed, and took her time helping us feel at home. The food was expertly prepared. The flavors were exciting and interesting. Drunken noodles were a table favorite, while my sons enjoyed the orange chicken and fried rice. I don't live in Mesquite, but I find myself here about once a year for baseball tournaments. Good food in Mesquite is surprisingly difficult to find. I will come back here. It was amazing. read more

My husband and I love Thai food and this place would make a fortune if it was on the east coast or a bigger city. Absolute phenomenal curry and the noodle dish I had was one-of-kind. This is a wonderful place that you must visit. The food is clean, crisp, fresh and full of flavor. We were in Mesquite for three days of relaxation and ate there every night. Mesquite is pretty limited for great food in my opinion. Not interested in going to the casino this was right down the street from our Holiday Inn express suites. The service is great, ask for Judy. She was wonderful every single visit. We had several different soups, garlic green bean, thai eggrolls, jasmine tea and rice, and the house salad is great! Large and able to share.
