Good portion sizes, Picking up food was easy. Food was filling. Krab Rangoons were only alright to be honest. Too much crisp on the outside and krab filling wasn't spread out enough. Peanut noodles were super good. Pad Thai was 7.5/10 good but nothing special. Overall still deserves a 4/5 read more

I was in Mesquite and looking for something different from the typical casino fare. I found this restaurant on Yelp so I figured I'd give it a shot. I started off with the golden bags appetizers. They're pretty much fried wantons with a different appearance. The golden bags were a little small but the flavors and texture were great. Typical wanton flavors but with a perfectly fried crisp and tied with a green onion sliver. The sauce was a clear, thick sauce that's similar to a sweet and sour sauce but with a touch of honey. I then ordered the Thai boat noodles, kind of like Vietnamese pho but with a darker broth. The server asked how spicy I would like it on a scale of one to ten, I ordered eight. The noodles came out and they were pretty delicious and spicy. I think I could've got the ten spicy and I would've been ok but eight was good, still really hot but not hot enough to ruin the flavor. I had just finished golfing 36 holes so I was pretty hungry so I ordered another bowl of noodles. I decided to order the wanton noodle soup. This was also a good bowl of noodles, the only thing is that the char siu pork was a little dry. But overall a good dish. From what I ate, I think this is a pretty good Thai restaurant, especially for a small town. Even though I ordered two entrees and finished them, the portion sizes were not small. What a gem!! We looked for a restaurant to satisfy my friends' appetites and my own dietary needs for a while before we finally found this lovely Thai restaurant and I'm so happy we did!! This was the perfect spot for a nice chill dinner with delicious flavors and exceptional service. My friend ordered the orange chicken and said it's the best she'd EVER HAD!! My husband ordered Pad Thai and crab rangoons and egg rolls to share, all of which were highly praised. I had steamed rice and veggies with garlic and, my favorite..Plum wine!! :) This restaurant was so delicious that we had to come back the following week for more! We'll definitely be back again.. One of my favorite spots to dine in Mesquite since my home is 130 miles away. The yellow shrimp curry is always tasty.

I liked this Thai restaurant a lot. I'd call it mor if a Thai fusion though because of the variety and preparation of the food. The restaurant is very nicely decorated with Asian accents and friendly colors. Very clean and friendly staff. Good size parking lot with a lot of spaces. We started off with Tom Yum soup with noodles, veggies, ground chicken (you can pick your protien) fish cake and few other items. You can pick your level of heat, we went with medium and it was just right. We also went with the veggie fried rice at the wifes suggestion. It was good....but I really wanted the shrimp fried rice. It came on a plate instead of a bowl so it cooled down quicker. For dessert.....mango sticky rice. It is a MUST HAVE! It was freaking delicious! D Thai Bistro was a nice little find in this little town of Mesquite, Nevada. The Tom Yum Noodle soup was so delicious! The soup base was rich and flavorful and filled with tender noodles, crunchy sprouts, ground chicken, fish cake, and whatever else was in it, it all worked! The veggie fried rice was just ok. The mango sticky rice was ok too. By far, the soup was the star of our light dinner. Service was friendly and attentive. The restaurant was clean with nice spacious booths around the perimeter. Had dinner 11-29-23 with my wife. We ordered PAi Tai noodles, coconut soup with Tofu, Orange chicken and Jasmine rice. Food was excellent and service was A-1. Highly recommend this place. Servers were professional and courteous and very attentive to our needs. read more

I really enjoy their lunch specials! I also enjoy the dinner time menu as well but D Thai is my go to place for lunch in Mesquite. It's so yummy and I can easily say I'm obsessed with the yellow curry, I like to alternate between the vegetable, tofu, & chicken version, each one is delicious in its own way. I order spice level 4 typically but when sharing with others I usually do a 2. The inside of the restaurant is very nice and clean. The staff is very on top of things and kind also. Hey Mesquite-- how did you get so lucky to have this deliciously awesome Thai restaurant. If you are driving through Mesquite I highly recommend getting off the freeway and heading to Thai Bistro. This place is actually worth driving from Vegas just for a great lunch or dinner. I came here for lunch we were greeted and seated right away. We just ordered water and diet cokes because we were on a road trip. We ordered steak salad, Tom yum kun soup and chicken pad thai. This was the perfect amount for 2 people. The food was all so fresh and so good. The broth from the soup was out of this world. I would have been satisfied if I had just a bowl of that. The food came out pretty quick and we ate it even faster. The restaurant is very clean seemed to have a nice stream of people coming in. We can't wait for our next trip so we can stop by Thai Bistro. Stopped in for lunch. Place is hidden in a strip mall next to a gym/health club. They are keeping COVID-19 seriously here. Clean and looks to be a family ran place. Lunch specials give you $1-$2 off regular menu entrees. We started with Spring Rolls. Came with 4 rolls that were very well made and tasty. Servers were great. Order came pretty fast. Nice light music playing in the background. I ordered the Orange Chicken. It was lightly breaded and really good. More of a Chinese item, but I liked it. Came with a side of rice, salad and wonton chips. Could have been more spicy. I remembered that they offered a spice level 1-10. Sadly our server never mentioned it to us. That's why the 3 star review. Maybe she thought I couldn't handle it. My Wife had the Green Beans with chicken. It looked really good. Admit I had a little food envy. She liked it a lot. Served with side of rice, salad and fried wonton chips. She did let me taste hers..... very good. Was heavy on the Soy Sauce. But again no spice. See pics for nice presentation. It was a nice lunch. Know with a spice here and there it easily would have been a 4 star, maybe even a more. Anyway come and try and explore. Thai is a family experience. Each family has their spin on the recipes. We stopped by with a group of 16 people on the drive to Zion and we are all very happy with the food quality and taste. We called ahead of time to get a table of 16 organized. The lunch special is a good size for 1 person. They have plenty of vegetarian options and can even convert a dish to vegan. I can personally vouch for the yellow curry and the green beans. Went here for one of our dinners while on vacation in Mesquite. Were seated promptly in a booth - woo-hoo! Not a very large restaurant but pretty modern looking inside. We didn't see a wine or beer list but our waitress (owner maybe?) told us they had them. Wife ordered a house pinot and I ordered a Thai beer (Singha) based on her recommendation. First time I had this beer and it was very good. I like more of a lighter beer and this hit the spot for me. We are not big Thai food eaters and not familiar with all the different items on the menu. My wife ordered the Pad Thai with chicken and I ordered the Pad See Ew with pork. Food came out fairly timely although they were pretty busy. Both our meals were very tasty and we enjoyed them very much. BIg chunks of meat with our noodles. Everything was very fresh tasting. Waitress convinced us for some desert - coconut ice cream over sweet sticky rice. If you haven't tried this before, please go for it. It was a great finisher to our meal. It has been a while since we were here. Came 3 days ago. Place is clean and staff seemed to try to keep up with the many customers. We were a bit disappointed with the food. My pad Thai was very clumpy with poor quality sauce and presentation. Did not taste as good as the last ti e we were here. My wife's orange chicken was a bit too much like lemon chicken. Way too sour. Last, we had the chicken satay appetizer. Very tough and dry flavorless chicken but the peanut sauce was decent. Last thing. The real disappointment was the price. The 3 dishes added up to almost $50! Way too high for the quality of food. Sorry I didn't take any pictures but we waited a very long time for our food to arrive so we got a bit too hungry to remember pictures. read more

Amazing! We were in Mesquite for a quick get-away and didn't want to go to a casino to eat, so we ordered in. Thank you for accepting Door Dash, even though they are not your partner! We order the crab rangoons, bag of gold, orange chicken and red curry. WOW!! Everything was absolutely delicious. Some of the best curry I've had. My husband couldn't stop raving about his orange chicken. The sweet & sour honey sauce with the bags of gold was the best part of that appetizer. While cute, the bite was forgettable. I had to drive to Mesquite for work. I was not looking forward to eating in its barren food desert. I found D Thai Bistro on Yelp and it has a solid 4.5 star rating. After looking at the menu, I was surprised that it had some traditional Thai dishes not found on your typical bland Chinese/Thai Americanized corner shop menus. Particularly, the boat noodles and khao soi looked good. I ordered the khao soi chicken with a spice level 8. For those who don't know, khao soi is a curry noodle soup typically from the northern region of Thailand. The khao soi was great! It was shockingly tasty and pretty close to being authentic, though a spice level 8 was less spicy than true Thai style. (I was sweating and sniffling as I ate it, so it was spicy enough).
