Both neighbors had new driveways installed, and within just 14 months, both driveways developed significant pitting and chipping. One driveway even has a crack running across it. I had my entire walkway replaced, and it is also showing pitting and chipping after only 14 months. All three of us contacted Olsen Cement and requested inspections. The response was disappointing. Damage from salt pop off from vehicles and told that the deterioration was due to our failure to seal the concrete and that the problem was essentially a maintenance issue on our end. That explanation doesn't hold up. I have a 30-year-old driveway that has never been sealed and is still in better condition than the concrete Olsen installed just over a year ago. To make matters worse, one of my neighbors was eventually offered a one-time driveway sealing application at no cost. I called and asked if my walkway could be included when they came out since they would already be on-site. My calls were never returned. When they arrived to seal my neighbor's driveway, they didn't seal my walkway and still never followed up with me. The poor quality of the concrete is one issue. The lack of accountability, inconsistent customer service, and failure to return calls made the experience even worse. Based on our collective experience, I cannot recommend Olsen Cement.

Not only did we need a new driveway but we also decided on replacing the sidewalk and adding a back yard patio. Juan, the owner and his entire crew were so friendly and professional and really take pride in their work. October 28,2024 was tear out day and November 1, 2024 was pouring the concrete day. Everything went as scheduled and looks really great and definitely added value and curb appeal to our home. We can't wait to get back out there and fill in the surrounding areas with dirt and grass seed and finally get to use our stored patio furnishings. Our front porch on our 1939 home had a fascia of brick that was loose and falling off. The…read moreflagstone on top had begun to crack apart without enough support under it. After I removed it, I found that most of the block support behind that was also loose or missing. I put in a call to several contractors for quotes. Brickworks was the first to respond and came up with an innovative repair plan. All others immediately said the whole porch would need replaced at almost 2x Brickworks quote. Decided to take a chance and was quite pleased. They repaired the structure, installed new fascia brick and were able to salvage some flagstone pieces to repair the surface of the porch. Everything was coated with waterproofing. However, when they were done they did an amazing cleanup and even repaired and seeded a few sq ft of damaged grass and reinstalled mulch around the porch. You would never have known that they were there except for the fact that the porch looked amazing. This work was done last year. It weathered great during the winter. I've always meant to post a review but never got around to it. I'd get a guilty feeling every time I'd see their trailer. Today I couldn't take it any more and just had to post. Would recommend them without reservation!

I now have water major amounts of water pooling up in the corner of my home, possibly causing future issues with my foundation. The other problem is that after pouring the new porch that they had built and adding the overhang, that was tied into the structure of the home. It started cracking a month or 2 into that same fall. That they did the work. And they didn't come out until the spring. Well, apparently I waited, or they waited too long to get back to me. And now the warranty is out. So now I will be held responsible for fixing the drainage issue that I never had with my other driveway. And they're not accepting responsibility for fixing my cracked cap of my brand new porch, that is two years old.I'll even say two and a half years old.Do not use them do not back up their work.I've had two guys come out and notice the issues they said they'd call me back.And neither one em have called back.I've had a call back both times called back recently.I was told it was my problem.It's out of warranty.Blah blah blah blah blah blah.Stay away from them and they're very expensive for the work that they do shoddy.Shoddy shoddy, customer service piss.Poor never use them.
