The other company is experience, but does not explain exactly what they are ordering for you or I wouldn't have had the issue I had with the blinds/shutters. I have in my house. I started this project in March 2025 did not get any installation for over four months and was given all types of excuses from the owner David. He then discounted me some money off of My order because of how long it was taking used every excuse as a delay by the vendor delay by the VP of the vendor, etc.. The shutters that were installed were made to supposedly tilt both ways and is why they don't close completely, which I was never asked that question my other shutters in the rest of my house are not made that way and closed and block out lots of light. They also have framing from the top and the bottom that hide 11 inches of light coming into my house instead of just putting another slat in the shutter and making the top and the bottom only 3 to 3 1/2 inches. David then stated after I refuse to pay any more money because he said I didn't have to until they were fixed. He took over six weeks and still never communicated to me until I wrote a review and then that's when he again spoke up. Again, giving me excuses that he was waiting for the item to come in. This gentleman should not own a business because he gives most of his money away to fix the problems that he calls because he has lack of communication and doesn't properly order the product or higher the right subcontractors to help him out. This is definitely a buyer beware situation.

I've had the blinds for four years and only pull them in the summer months to block the sun. Within the first year the edges began to fray. I was hoping it was just a few loose threads and that the fraying would stop, but over the four summers the fraying has gotten worse and has become unsightly. They would not repair or replace them as apparently the "lifetime warranty" does not cover the materials used to make the blinds.

When the curtains arrived the curtains for one of the windows was missing. The installer came without some of the parts he needed. He also did not know how to measure the height of the rods. He kept putting holes in the wall when he had to move the rods up because he didn't know where to put the rods. The blackout curtains don't darken the room because there is a 12 inch gap between the wall and the curtains. They put in cheap rods. There is no privacy and light comes into the room. They should have used blackout curtain rods that are made for blackout curtains. Once the curtains were reordered and ready to be installed the installer never showed up and didn't call to reschedule. I am so disappointed in this company.

With regards to the heating of our home, the windows were no better than screens. I reached out, looking for windows and installers. I had a few people come in and estimate the job. None of them impressed me until Greg from Windows on Washington came over. He walked me through several options and explained how the windows they used were manufactured and why. Windows on Washington got the job. My windows and my doors were being manufactured. So they sent out a wonderful gentleman to get the final accurate measurements. Great guy. After that, communication was wonderful as were were assessed of the stage we were in. This included when we got the email and calls explaining that, since we were on a higher floor, they needed to bring in some equipment to lift the new doors up to our balcony. No surprises. Installation day was amazing as Joon and his team came in, got everything into place, and cleaned up the areas to better than when they got here. Joon then went over the features on our windows and even explained how we get to and clean the outsides of the glass. Wonderful man and amazing team. Since then, we have gotten copies of our warranty and the guarantees. And the company has reached out twice to ask if we have any questions and to ensure that we are happy with our windows. We are. We are very happy with our windows. Almost as happy as we are with the people who got them into our home.

He also replaced four glass panes on three windows where the seal was broken and fogging up. His measurements were perfect and the new glass looks amazing. He told me that the frames were in good shape which was relief as the windows are 24 years old. Eddie cleaned the glass, tightened up the locking mechanism, and left no trash or debris behind. Eddie has a great work ethic, takes pride in his work, and is a nice person. He also responds quickly and his prices are very fair. Highly recommend.

I ask them to repair a screen for me and I had to wait probably 5 weeks . The owner was dealing with health issues and would sometimes respond to my text and other times not regarding when my job would be completed . When I finally picked up the screen, I asked if his company could make two new screens for other windows I had and was told the job would be passed to a man named Jack who was the screen master . This guy was not communicative and would just show up at my house whenever he was in the area to get a measurement . I'm a very busy woman and I need to have some notice if you're coming over . The final straw was he showed up again unannounced saying he was in the area . At the time, I was in the shower and I could hear someone practically breaking down my door by banging very loudly . I thought it might be an emergency and I ran out of the shower and open to my third floor window to see who was banging on my door . That's when I saw Jack and he said he had the screens and I told him that I was indisposed . Undeterred, he said he would wait and I checked my texts and phone log to see if he had actually contacted me to let me know he was coming over and he had not . I asked him if we could come up with a mutually agreeable time to install screens . He seemed irritated and I told him I needed some notice . At this point, he became angry and animated and told me just to forget the whole thing and to never mind , basically meaning I wasn't going to get my screens at all . He yelled up to my window that I was being very unprofessional . I subsequently called him and he was rude on the phone and told me to just listen to what he had to say . So I listened, and when he was done I told him we had to come up with a mutually agreeable time and he didn't like it so he basically hung up . Today he dropped by my old screen and I had my husband go out to his truck to talk to him saying that we were still interested in buying the screens , but he was terse with my husband , barely saying a word other than he didn't have them and driving off. I understand that the customer is not always right and that's not what this review is about. If you are in business you need to know how to communicate and be professional at all times . What I said to him certainly did not warrant his behavior and I was quite taken aback . He also told me that business was good , meaning it was no skin off his back to not sell me the screen said he had already made up for me . Anyway, it's sad because I think they do good work but if you can't communicate then I just don't have time to deal with you . He also indicated to me that he had come out twice to my house from Dundalk . I live in Odenton . He said I was not appreciative of this fact. I really didn't know where this guy lived and to me, it was irrelevant . He would not have had to come out twice had he coordinated a mutually agreeable time to me but he didn't seem to understand that saying that I was ungrateful . So if you want a lot of drama, do business with this company but it really wasn't worth the hassle and I still don't have my new screens as they are refusing to sell them to me . What a waste of time . I would only use this company if they are the only company in Maryland that can make your screen. Otherwise, save yourself the hassle .
