    Sausage Parmigiana with fries
    Jonathan R.

I have had D'michaels once before and if I remember correctly I had a cheesesteak. I believe it was good so I decided to go back. This time I wanted to try the meatball parmigiana. I haven't had a good meatball sandwich in ages it seems. When I called to order my food they told me that they were out of meatballs. I wasn't too upset about that so I looked at the menu again and saw that they had a sausage parmigiana. It wasn't what I originally wanted but we'll see how it goes. I added fries and a drink I drove to D'michaels to pick up my food. When I got there my food was ready. When I got home I noticed there was a large number of fries with my order. That definitely was not a problem. Extra fries are always welcome. The sausage parmigiana was so delicious. It was Italian sausage but I wasn't expecting the spicy kick to it. The spiciness wasn't overwhelming though. I thoroughly enjoyed the sandwich. I want come back and try the meatball parmigiana.

    "The Bomb" special.

Upon moving to Mobile, I had one of my very first "Conecuh mayhem" experiences at D'Michaels. I Yelped it, bookmarked, and put my complete trust in the "word of Yelp!" When the hubs and I pulled into the parking lot, I may or may not have wanted to drive off immediately. But, the joke would've been on me. The sandwiches at this hole in the [shell of a strip mall] are SOOO freaking GOOD! The bomb sand which and their Philly is pretty tender and LEGIT! The great guys who run D'Michaels are awesome also, and offered the best recommendations and even made our sammies the way they like them prepared! YAASSSS!!! The life long lesson continues to prevail-- Never judge a book by its cover, and ... you can trust the word of Yelp!

Amazing food. Fresh. Great people great service!!! SUPPORT LOCAL! The owner is a people lover and goes out of his way to make you feel welcomed!

Husband said it was the best cheesesteak he's ever had and my gyro was definitely a top five favorite.

You ever walk into a place and immediately think, "Yep... this is either going to be amazing or I'm…read moreabout to make a terrible decision"? Welcome to Judy's Place. Because this spot is not pretending to be anything. This is full-on, unapologetic dive. And I mean that in the best possible way. You walk in and it's like the '70s, '80s, and a little bit of someone's '90s basement bar all got together and said, "Let's not change a thing." Old banquet-style tables, a bar top that feels like it's hosted a thousand stories, and walls that have clearly seen some things. I loved it immediately. Now let's talk food. The folks next to me were deep into the chicken and dumplings and talking about it like it was a life event. You know that kind of table chatter where you start reconsidering your order mid-bite? Yeah, that. I went shrimp po' boy... and no regrets. Shrimp fried just right. Crispy, flavorful, doing exactly what it's supposed to do. Solid sandwich. The fries... eh, they showed up a little tired. Not terrible, just kind of there. A little cold, a little soggy, like they'd already had a long day. But here's the twist. You don't come to Judy's for perfection. You come for personality. For the feeling that you just discovered a place that doesn't care about trends, doesn't need a remodel, and definitely isn't chasing Instagram. It just is what it is... and somehow that works. Fold this into your expectations. If you need polished, keep driving. If you want real, pull up a chair. It's fun. It's different. It's got character for days. Four stars. And honestly, half the star is just for staying exactly the same all these years.

The service was a little slow due to such a large number of people. We were there in the morning, so we had a breakfast menu. The food was pretty tasty. I plan to go back and take my family. They have a sample platter that feeds six for under $40! That's a deal to help ease the pull on your pocket. Definitely worth a visit.

Top Golf does a terrible job of containing the golf balls inside their enclosure…read more My car was hit by a stray ball while driving past one of their locations, resulting in over $2,500 in damages. Top Golf is self-insured, and if they pay for the damage, it's very difficult to get a decent settlement. It took endless emails, estimates, and conversations with their "loss management" department to get me car repaired. If this is the way they operate for that kind of loss, what would happen if a customer was injured while visiting a Top Golf facility? I recommend going to a relatively safe restaurant or bar, and leaving your golfing to a driving range or Golf course. I've been a golfer for a long time. But, I want no part of an establishment that treats people the way Top Golf does if there's a problem. Top Golf is owned by Callaway. I may even sell my Callaway clubs due to Top Golf's management practices.

Friday night and the Pugterrier family looking for an easy dinner option. Haven't been to Beef's in…read morea few months and the menu offers something for everyone. Pulled up and noticed signs stating no alcohol available. Well, so much for Lil Pug getting a Sangria fun drink as she calls it. Maybe 3 other tables occupied and Todd's name off door as owner, hmmm. Greeted quickly by new face and seated. Menus are now ink jet printer single page not the laminated multi page with pictures previous. All the sport memorabilia missing as well as video game room now vacant. As someone who ate here the first week this place opened years ago tonight was weird, almost like a complete relaunch, with old furniture. Our waitress Brittany was new, and let us know tonight was her first night after completing training. Brittney did a fine job of taking care of us. Food was typical Beefs, wings were good, fish and chips were, well frozen fish and chips. This was a straight up average experience. Would have been better had the Sangria been available, and maybe the decor up. The inflatable crawfish in the corner was weird and not very "sports bar" oriented, not a problem but weird just the same. The trip to the bathroom to wash my hands was a little scary, and Lil Pug said the ladies room was N A S T Y ! I suppose with the dinner "crowd" the folks didn't have time to do a little cleaning. I would suggest that the new owner be present on a Friday evening and maybe even introduce themselves to the few customers that do have. The previous owners always made me feel welcome and were on the scene to make sure it was all good. I suppose the changing of hands in the last few months will either help or hurt this spot. As of now, it's not looking good. This seems to be an absentee owner franchise now and, well that's a dime a dozen in the area and the on site owner made it stand out. At least the Ruby Tuesday across the street is so bad they get that business. I am not sure if we will go back. EDIT: woke up this morning with upset stomachs for all who ate wings, maybe just a coincidence. Went to update review and notate this and found reply from owner. Don't want to start a back and forth here but I believe the misunderstanding may actually be on your side. I understand the lack of alcohol during transition due to licensing, and that wasn't the problem. The lack of decor I was referring to was the sports memorabilia that was previously hanging and is now absent. If you were in the building last night Tara you were nowhere to be seen. Sorry, not trying to bust you on your response but it seemed more concerned with shooting down my issues than addressing them. I have spent who knows how much time and money in this house over the last decade or so, giving me a fairly honest view of what I saw different. It's OK to not have alcohol due to license and the lack of decor is understandable with the autographed pictures being kept by the folks that own them, but if the OWNER was in the place the bathrooms should have at least been cleaner than the ones at the gas station across the street. Also noticed not one but 3 fresh 5 star reviews this morning by some 1 review posters made around opening. Are you getting staff to try to offset a couple bad reviews? Sure looks a little suspect to me. Maybe you could address issues instead of covering them like a cat in her box...
