Worst experience ever with any construction discipline. We just had a new roof, facia boards and rain gutters put in. We requested a new breaker box. The that D&M brought had the pipe on top offset different from the existing box. Without consulting my wife or I they literally cut a big chunk out of our new facia and roof to accommodate the different style box they brought. Afterwards when confronted with this they showed little care in means that they did anything wrong. Bad attitude trying to get them to fix it, their wood guy never showed. Absolutely AWFUL customer service. Ok, so I can handle the pointless phone tag and complete lack of attention to detail with the information provided, but then setting up an appointment, just not showing up and not letting the client know, is beyond unprofessional. He just didn't show at all. Eventually, 45mins after I'm already at work, he answers me and says he's going to send a random guy and that it was my fault because I should have just known that he "didn't get my address". When I asked him why he didn't call/text saying that we have an appointment but he didn't seem to get my address, his answer to me was "sorry, I don't have time to chase down clients". Has your jaw hit the ground reading that like mine did? Unbelievably unprofessional. I should have known better, he seemed distracted and aloof over the phone, but was giving him the benefit of the doubt. I'm a professional and know what it means to meet my commitments to others. Our house in La Mesa, Mt. Nebo area, was built in 1946 and has been added onto in a hodgepodge fashion over the years and electrical was interesting at best. We recently have embarked on a full kitchen, dining, living room remodel. Damon was 100% professional, he responded promptly to phone calls and even text messages. He sent us a reasonable bid, listened to what we needed, made additions when we asked, and has worked with us to get our project finished. His bid included all aspects of the job from start to finish, he has a payment structure to coincide with work completed...no surprises. Damon was able to fix many of the sketchy wiring in areas of the house that were done years ago by a previous homeowner himself. When we added work, Damon's charge was fair and we didn't even blink about settling up. He even accepts Venmo, which made payment easy.
