Super friendly, professional, personal and economical bakery. I had a specific request for a cake, orange colored interior, blue rose exterior and I supplied the filling flavor. The cake was super moist and delicious flavor. First I went to Marino Bakery, also on W207th, but their prices are much higher, almost double. I ordered 3 cakes within a 2 weeks span for my daughter's first birthday cake smash photo-shoot, her actual birthday and her birthday party. I wanted pastel colors & the frosting to be smooth without having to use fondant and I received just what I asked for. The cakes were all delicious in taste; the only thing is that they do use a lot of frosting ( they also charge extra to make the frosting smooth). Overall, they make delicious cakes and their prices are affordable compared to De'Colores on Shermen Ave. ( I have about two years getting cakes from this place and in total it's been about 20 cakes thus far without any issues). read more

Wow this place is the secret truth. Wanted to get a beautiful birthday cake for my mom's bday bash yesterday. This place over exceeded my expectations. My family and I usually buy our cakes from Colores around the corner for over 15 years, however they have gotten wayyy too pricey. And I felt like the person who takes the orders is very take it or leave it- which is not how they use to do business. Aside from that this place made this beautiful delicious cake! (guayaba on top and pineapple at the bottom) for nearly half the price colores was trying to charge me. I had purchased smaller cakes here in the past their cream cakes are good too. My family was sceptical, but afterwards they were like tell us where you got this cake. I also purchased finger liking picadera for the party from them Super cheap! I am never ordering a cake from this bakery again. I order a cake from this bakery for my sister's sweet 16. The cake was delicious. The design of the cake was also well done. It was a Tiffany and co, cake. Because The first cake I ordered was well done and tasteful, I decided to order my fiance's birthday cake here. I ordered a PS4 cake.... for starters the cake I received did not match the picture I sent them! The cake surface was not even and its corners were oval instead of pointy. In addition, the cake had more frosting than actual cake. (Such a disappointment!) Although I was dissatisfied with the PS4 cake I ordered, I decided to try this bakery again because I enjoy the cakes made in this bakery. Again, I was left dissatisfied. I ordered a white rose cake. The cake was so tasteless (tres leche) and not only that, again they used a lot of frosting and used aluminum to make the the cake appear bigger then what it really is. I am not giving this bakery another try. So don't order your cakes in this bakery if you do not want to be left unsatisfied. In the bright side they do make good warm wheat sandwiches. If you want you can purchase freshly bake wheat bread (4 for $2). read more

My friend recommended this place to me and suggested that I try their "Tres Leches" I tried it for the first time and I am instantly hooked. It is very delicious and I wish I had another one right now. After tasting their Tres Leche I decided that this is the only place that I will get this particular dessert, NO WHERE ELSE. A Piece of Tres Leche is only $2.50. For something so DELICIOUS to be that price in NYC, that is a Great Deal. For a place to get 5 stars from me, it is definitely worth checking out. One word. RACIST. If I could, I would give -1000 stars (minus) to this place. I was just there for the first time around 8 30 pm, January 31st. Unfortunately, I only speak English and Korean. The woman working there, there were 2 and the taller one, asked me what I wanted. I was trying to pronounce it while pointing it out. It probably took less 15 seconds. She hit the plate hard and yelled at me. She violently took out a paper bag and pushed the stuff it. I told her she didn't have to yell at me. Do not be fooled by all of the hype that Bizcocho De Colores has because their cake consists of rum which takes away from the taste from the cake and is not appropriate for serving to children. Best coffees and treats on 207! Cheap, quick and professional service. Sometimes the line gets a little confusing because of the small space, but I am always in & out in under 10 mins, even if I'm getting a sandwich. I was slightly intimidated at first because the ladies are very quick about taking orders but they're really sweet! The egg and cheese here is way better than any bodega, and cheap. They also have great rolls and snack breads, as well as yummy individual tres leches cakes. read more

Horrible ! Horrible customer service to start off . They made a cake that's mom order which actually fell apart (embarrassing) they're cake has no flavor. Every cake I order has more frosting than actual cake . Horrible place ! If I can give them no stars I would , but sadly that's not an option. Ordered a tres Leches cake from here on the phone they took all the info down asked me how to spell the names and everything. When I went to pick up the cake you would think the name would already be on the cake since they asked for the info beforehand. They asked that I write down the names on a napkin while there I wrote it out exactly as I wanted and they still got it wrong!! I asked for the lady to fix it she said she couldn't I asked for a discount and she said no! Really!? the "stars" say it all, & yes it's true "I've experienced better". Based on other ppl's reviews I decided to give this place a try because Tres Leche Cake is my favorite, & hey I wanted to treat myself. So yes it's true the slices are pretty good in price $2.50-- now that's a good deal! --- but wait not so fast.... it may be worth the price. It looks pretty much like the pics that ppl previously posted pero... the cake was "too" soaked in milk which may the cake seem loose, like it needed more butter in the batter. I love to bake so I would know... I think it lacked that. Overall, the frosting is like a sweet rich whipped cream with a lil taste of strawberry which is kool.
