After stopping at the local (and not good) Newbury Comics location semi-close by in Manchester, we continued on our way until we stumbled across Papa Joe's Humble Kitchen and figured we would give this place a shot for lunch. The outside looked like a side of the road burger joint you would find in New England and the inside matched it perfectly. This isn't exclusively a burger place, but the menu does revolve around burgers and sandwiches and I just had to give the specialty a try, The Full of Bologna Burger! As someone who really likes burgers and also likes bologna, this was a no brainer and it was pretty dang good if I do say so myself. The bologna and the beef mixed pretty well together and the french fries I had on the side were pretty good as well. Overall, Papa Joe's Humble Kitchen is a fun roadside restaurant that's definitely worth trying if you are in the area. The staff here were friendly, the restaurant itself is small and charming, and the food is on the cheaper side, greasy, and tastes dang good. Will I be back? Probably not since I don't even know where Milford, NH is, but I sure would recommend this place to those looking for a solid lunch in Southern New Hampshrie!

Their food is consistently delicious, the atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, and it's the kind of place you look forward to coming back to again and again. The tacos, brisket, and chili are all outstanding - the brisket is tender and flavorful, the tacos are loaded and satisfying, and the chili is rich, hearty, and perfect any time of year. Their new breakfast menu is also a huge win, with creative options that still deliver that classic barbecue comfort, and it's great to have a local spot doing breakfast this well. Prices are extremely reasonable, especially considering how generous the portions are, so you really feel like you're getting great value with every meal. The staff is friendly, attentive, and down-to-earth, which adds a lot to the overall experience and makes the place feel truly local and family-run. The vibes inside are great - casual, cozy, and laid-back - and it's just as easy to pop in for a quick bite as it is to linger over a relaxed meal with friends or family. I also really appreciate that there are many clearly marked gluten-free and dairy-free options on the menu, which makes it so much easier for people with dietary restrictions to order confidently without feeling limited. Highly recommend Smoke Shack Cafe to anyone looking for fantastic tacos, brisket, chili, and breakfast in the Londonderry/Loudenberry area - this place absolutely delivers on food, price, and atmosphere.

Yah its sad that a sub costs $9.99 nowadays and im excited about the price, but it is what it is. Bread was fresh, sub was tasty and huge. I shouldn't have eaten the whole thing, but it was good so I did. This pic is of HALF the sub. Service was quick. The soft opening menu offerings include a selection of chicken wings, chicken tenders, house tenders, fries, tostones, yuca fries, chili, black bean soup, BBQ pork ribs, and Pepsi products. The bar offers 6 draft beers/cider/seltzer, beer cans & bottles. Recently, I placed a scheduled online takeout order through Toast ordering the House Tenders 5 pc ($13.82 plus tax) coated with Buffalo sauce, Tostones ($6.45 plus tax) and Yuca Fries ($6.45 plus tax). I made the 25 minute trek from work to Henniker and my order was bagged and ready when I arrived. The bar area was moderately busy and the dining room was wide open with plenty of seating. There are QR codes at each table to scan for menu and ordering by table. Anyways, as for the food, the portions were pretty good size. The 5 House Tenders were thick and plump, & hand breaded and coated with a buffalo sauce. I was given carrots, spicy BBQ sauce, ranch dressing, & bleu cheese dressing dipping cups. The Yuca Fries were thick golden casssva root fries light & crisp outside, soft texture inside, cilantro aioli lime dip provided. The Tostones were very firm fried plantain chips, garlic mojo dipping sauce provided. The food was pretty good and filling. I will definitely come back for a dine-in meal when they have more food menu offerings of a local pub & restaurant.

Full disclosure this is for takeout so maybe it's a better experience inside. Speaking of inside, the ambience of the restaurant was fine. Not too crowded but a handful of patrons. The decor was cute and the music was a nice touch. I ordered a combination plate with a cheese enchilada and a chicken taco with a hard shell. I selected refried beans and Mexican rice as my sides. The sides were tasty. The enchilada was fine but the cheese tasted like American cheese, and the taco was disappointing. I expected a homemade fried hard shell but instead It was something from the grocery store and hardly filled with chicken. A homemade taco shell and more filling would go along way. Plus adding toppings like sour cream and pico-I believe those could be added for an extra cost. My husband ordered the fajita nachos. He said they were good but I was a little thrown off by the American cheese sauce instead of the more traditional melted jack and cheddar cheese for nachos. I really enjoyed their chips and salsa.
