Wide varieties of different vendors. It's time to do some holiday shopping! Wine Walk started at 4pm till 7pm. Separate check in areas for General Admission and VIP Admission. It's good to separate the crowd. General Admission checked in on Palm Ave. VIP checked in in front of the mall. VIP has it's own lounge area on the terrace at the mall. There were food & wine tasting stations. Great atmosphere with music and beautiful Christmas tree. Lots of seating areas to enjoy the party! On San Fernando Road, there were 4 tasting stations spread out. In addition, more tasting stations at different restaurants and retail stores. It was fun following the map & doing some "treasure hunt" ( WINE!) There was a live band playing music starting in the afternoon till the night. What a fun street party! Very well organized event! The Parking: Several parking structures in downtown Burbank and it's FREE too!

Highlights were really the 4 main areas fenced off. They had music and wine walkers just hanging out. Danced, drank, made some new friends, and decided I'll need to come back again next year. I did like they had some things other than wine. Tips for improvement --- maybe some water stations to rinse cups out or get some water in our cups. Shout out to Artelice patisserie for giving us water... their croissants were delicious. And some of their desserts were amazingly beautiful. Another shout out to wild carvery for having food samples. We went back today to have lunch. A couple places were very uncomfortable and the map wasn't the greatest , look at I believe 35-37 on the map. Olive/San Fernando. Overall a great time and will be back next year. thank you so much

Folks who are regulars here seem like really nice down to earth folks you wanna be friends with. That's really nice to have a staple watering hole.

The owner called us and asked if we were still coming and we quicky made our way over there, at 1:40. Even though we were 40 minutes late the owner was understanding and super nice! We each got some wine (you have to pay seperately for it) and she started the lesson. She was very descriptive and that helped us follow along and keep at her pace. We were lucky enough that it was just the two of us in the studio that day. She came around and offered more paint when we needed it and gave us some techique suggestions. Overall it was a wonderful experience and one that we will be doing again! If you're in the area or have been wanting to do a wine and paint night this studio is very lovely and i would highly recommend.

Boy were we glad!! In this heat, I think I would not have made it up the hill if we had to park in the lower lot!! There was already a line forming and people were already throwing their blankets onto the ground in order to claim a shady spot. We were lucky to sit underneath the tree, but since the speakers were close by, the music was kind of loud so it was challenging to have a conversation. By the time the rest of the group showed up, if it wasn't for us, they would be sitting out in the open and would have gotten heat stroke! There was only one food truck. I was fortunate that the other four people in our group came prepared with lots of goodies to share. BIG must. Bring stuff to eat!! Besides one food truck, there was free water. Very organized in regards to getting your wine tastings. You get to wear a wrist band with 4 tabs which are removed one at a time as you go up to get a drink. There were 3 or 4 lines which moved along fairly quickly. I noticed that they didn't all have a glass to place tips. 3 of the wines were cooled and the 4th was room temperature. The serving size was very good. BTW, you get to keep the commemorative glass (no stem) which is actually cute because it says Barnsdall on it. The Hollyhock House is available for touring during this event, but it's an additional cost. Wish I purchased tickets for it! Oh well, maybe another time if I ever do this event again which cost $35 for 3 hours.

This historic home was built by frank lloyd wright, in an aztec style with reminders everywhere of the barnsdall's favorite flower, the hollyhock. There are food trucks nearby, the day i went there were 2. The food was so-so. I recommend instead to definitely bring a towel and your own picnic! The wine pours were chilled white, chilled rose, and two reds i did not try. The white was my favorite.
