D'Argenzio Wine - Yummy Sangiovese, full of flavor, yet a gentle red! - Wine Bars Near Me - Burbank, California

Came here for my birthday. The staff were extremely friendly and the place is super cute and cozy. Will definitely come back!

Loved the place.!Ray of the Santa Rosa Winery location, is twins with the owner here in Burbank. The staff was terrific. I just dropped in with a friend to pick up my wine club shipment instead of waiting for my next trip to Santa Rosa and ended up staying for hours; dinner ( ordered in from a nearby restaurant at their suggestion because it wasn't a night they had a wine down event!!) and the delightful guitar music they had that night! If you can't get to wine country you will think iyou are there once you enter their place! read more

We were two of three patrons here on a Friday night which honestly concerned me. The vibe was a little confusing, but we did enjoy their very affordable wine tasting as well as some food. All the food was solid, we actually really loved their pesto pizza. The cheeseboard came out but we didn't know what was on it cause no one explained but it but hey it hit the spot. It's an interesting spot, I would hope more people frequent it because I'm all for family-owned places in Burbank! read more

first time wine tasting today. I tasted 5 different wine and I am still unable to differentiate the taste of the wine. Will try out other wine tasting rooms in LA! read more

This is a hidden gem of Burbank. There are very few places to sit and enjoy a decent wine tasting in Los Angeles and the surrounding areas. The ambience is adorable. The staff is sweet, informative and welcoming. Most importantly, the D'Argenzio wine is delicious. It's a Santa Rosa winery with a tasting room in Burbank and the wine is different but amazing. On top of that, the prices are perfect. On my first visit, we met the owners and they were so sweet and came up and introduced themselves and gave us a little history in the wine and the family. If you're in the area and are looking for a nice wine tasting without fighting crowds and shoveling out top dollar for subpar wine, come to D'Argenzio. read more

D'Argenzio Wine - Burrata Crostini. Delicious ! - Wine Bars Near Me - Burbank, California

See all

My husband and I love their Zinfandel and Rose. The wine tasting room also includes a room in the back where they host music and stand up comics. They serve homemade pizzas and Italian appetizers. It's such a great hang. Their winery is in Sonoma County. And, the owners are the sister and brother in law of metal guitar god, Randy Rhodes. Metalheads must make a pilgrimage here. read more

Adorable little wine bar! love the wine and super intimate and cute, we had the cheeseboard which was amazing, pizza which was good and some pasta read more

They took my credit card when I got there to open a tab (for a $10 pizza) but never brought a bill or gave my credit card back even though I was almost the last one to leave the event. I am NOT impressed. Now I have to drive back to the restaurant when it opens to get my credit card!! If a restaurant is incapable of returning people's credit cards before they leave, they should not be taking people's credit cards at all. read more

I'm used to wineries in Napa and in Temecula. That being said, one of my girlfriends was having a bachelorette party and wanted wineries. We stopped at this one and were the only ones on a beautiful Saturday afternoon. The girl behind the counter was nice, knowledgeable, and very generous with the pours. We were so tired and a little buzzed from other wineries we had visited earlier, but it seemed like it was a pretty mellow place to come. The girl stated that they normally get busier at night and that the crowd is pretty lively. I'll have to come back some other night to check it out, but for what it is, it's cute, quaint and has some excellent red wines! read more

Love this place. It's one of the few places in Burbank that you can actually taste wine or have a glass of something nice (D'Argenzio wines only), have some quiet conversation, and even enjoy a cheese plate! It isn't low cost, but the place is lovely, the snacks are great, the service is attentive, and the wines are pretty terrific too. I've actually had business meetings here! read more

We did not like the wines. Tasted all three, ordered a glass. Forced myself to finish it. Left with a headache. Went to Urban Press and had some real wine with real food. read more

Have wanted to check out this little nugget for some time since it is in my 'hood. The Randy Rhoads' Birthday Celebration seemed like a great opportunity to do just that and I was not disappointed! My friends and I went on the first night of the festivities and had a wonderful time. The wine is fantastic! I am a lover of deep reds, but even my friend who is not impressed with reds (opts for white wines primarily) loved the Randy Rhoads 2005 Cab. It is a fantastic wine. The people are friendly and welcoming, the place feels like home, and the wine is heavenly. Highly recommend you check it out. Randy is smiling down on his family and is proud, I am sure!! read more

Went here on a whim and it payed off. This was great little place to get a wine tasting fix in the middle of Burbank. The wines We tasted where not the best or the types of wines I usually like but the Chardonnay they had was really good. They also had a cupcake tasting going on at the same time with wine pairing but I am supposed to be on a diet so I passed but the girls next to us seems to enjoy it a lot. All and all its fun cozy and freindly read more

We came in around 8pm on a Friday and asked if we could bring our baby in with us. It wasn't too crowded and they were very nice and said yes. We did the red/white tasting and it was very good. I would recommend anyone who likes wine to try this place. read more

The D'Argenzio Enoteca Tasting Room offers an inviting, artisan atmosphere while providing some of the best boutique wines that hail from Sonoma County. Thursday night happy hour is a must see event: from the weekly food truck or catering to the live music to the interesting and down to earth people you meet. The quality of service is top notch. D'Argenzio wines are one of my favorite winemakers and while all of the wines are solid, my favorite has to be their Zinfadel. The D'Argenzio Enoteca Tasting Room is one of Burbank's treasures. I recommend it to those who want to experience wine tasting in a comfortable and inviting environment. read more

This is a lovely wine bar restaurant. It is a tiny place but it is very cozy and comfortable. The food is really excellent and the wine is wonderful. The wine is from a winery in California. This place is actually the tasting room of that winery. This is a wine tasting room essentially so there are no cocktails. The pizza is excellent I highly recommend it. They also have small dining room where occasionally they have live performances of singers and bands. It's a lot of fun and I highly recommend it! read more

I accidentally stumbled upon this place on a Saturday night - it felt like heavy metal hair night but I thought this was pretty cool. My husband and I were able to sample a few whites before deciding on a glass, and decided to head back and enjoy the rock music. I enjoyed the Moscato and bruschetta while rocking out to the awesome musicians. I personally enjoyed the atmosphere as this was not usual for a wine bar. I'm slowly discovering more hidden gems here in Burbank and I am definitely looking forward to coming back on another night. read more

Came here for a friend's engagement party and loved it! The wine was delicious, the cheese and nibbles were yummy, the live music was nice and the service was terrific. I will be back -- especially to enjoy that outside patio. I'm always looking for a place to sit in the sun with a glass of wine. read more

This place is ok, not terrible and I would definitely go back. I wasn't a huge fan of the wine that I tried and the crepe brûlée did not have the classic crispy top. The girl was nice, the ambience is fine and the classic story of the owner being friends with a celebrity is always fascinating. read more

This place is top notch for atmosphere. They're a local extension of a vineyard run, if I got this right, by the owner's brother, and they also serve classy food. Great place for a date night or to catch up with friends over some wine. The red wines were really tasty; I ended up with the Barbera. The white wines that I sampled (Chardonnay and another) had a too much citric acid, almost a grapefruit flavor, for me. Would absolutely return! Also parking in back is plentiful. read more

Interesting place for a date or to meet local. Far away from the all Burbank active area of downtown. Nothing to do for two single girls but just sit back and drink wine read more

Great local spot! My husband and I walk here to unwind after work. The owner and his wife are very nice, & very knowledgeable about wine. She'll ask you a couple questions on what tastes you prefer and without failure, will recommend a glass you're sure to love! read more

Great place with a great atmosphere.. Owner is super friendly.. A must place to have drinks on a Friday or Saturday night!

We had a great time wine tasting, the wine itself was excellent and well priced and the service was very warm and friendly.

Great place for wine tasting. Older Gentleman behind the bar not the most Friedman but lady was personable and nice. Wine is ok. Attended a paint night event and the instructor "Dani Luv" was a real pill. Not motivated and actually rude. I ll be back for the food pizza and sliders were very tasty. read more

Came here on a Saturday afternoon and there was no one else when we walked in. I didn't mind since they were able to cater to only us. The lady there was very knowledgeable and gave us a back story to every wine we tried. Had a great time will definitely be coming back! read more

What can I say! I absolutely love this place..we live a few blocks away and love riding our bikes there. Richard,Kathy & Angelina are awesome!!! The wine is 5 stars for sure! If you have never been there...you are missing out! read more

Such a great local find. Easy to miss if you're not looking for it...well worth it if you have the opportunity to stop in. Welcoming atmosphere and educational staff. The prices are great & the wine was delicious!!!! It was a huge plus that my first wine tasting here was on their Wine Down Thursdays. I loved the food truck (Greek that night) & the live music. Mama Mia!!! I love these people! Very friendly, great tasting wine and they even let me have a taste of their own families wine batch that was wonderful. An old Italian family that's been living here in Burbank and delivering great wine and joy to the Burbank area for many many years. read more

This place has a low key atmosphere! Met the owner and his wife. They walked around and chatted with us. Their pizza is AMAZING. We got the sausage and pesto for $12 and it's plenty for 2: their apps are $6 and perfect too. They have wine flights for $10 and you get generous pours. Wonderful place and will definitely be back!!! read more

I can't say enough about this little gem! Love the wine and the pizza is hands down the best I've had ever in 12 years in Los Angeles. Thursdays are their more popular night but Saturdays are the bomb! Never a crowd and always an experience! Try them out! read more

Last week we held our son and his new wife's wedding rehearsal event/dinner at D'Argenzio Wine Tasting Room. The venue was perfect, the food was spectacular and the staff was the best. everyone had a wonderful time and I was so pleased with the job Brianna, Ray and the rest of the D'Argenzio family did on our behalf. I would highly recommend D'Argenzio for your special event. First class!!! Bravo! read more

Cute place. Wines are decent. Acoustics in the tasting room are god awful. Impossible to hear your friends talk...

I recently went to a private wine tasting event here, and it was fantastic. This was for a non profit I'm involved in, and was a charity event. The wine is made in Sonoma County (Russian River) and they have some awesome wines - Pinot Noir, Zin, Cabernet, and great Chardonnay. Really nice tasting room and large second room, great for private events. read more

This place, D'Argenzio, is our own little world where our pasts and walks of life don't matter, might as well not even exist. When you first set foot in D'Argenzio Winery and Cabinet shop, its a bit overwhelming. More people than you would expect all hanging about in a small front parlor and larger back room. A moment passes and suddenly it feels like coming home. There are no strangers here, merely old friends whose names and faces you've forgotten. That's alright though as they are all more than happy to remind you, so long as you return the favor. The décor speaks of old-world Tuscany, but the view out the windows is all urban Southern California - the juxtaposition doesn't reduce the feelings of comfort and community though, if anything it enhances them. In the back room, softly lit by candles and strings of white lights, long wooden tables filled with former strangers enjoy guitar music played by a single artist. This may be a place of business, but it is also a beating heart, a home filled with family. A community coming together in its simplest form. The wine is exceptional, and on Thursday's its wine tasting for $5.00 and some of LA's most famous food trucks. MKD read more
